I recently had Bonilla repair my foundation issues. I picked them mainly because I have read highly favorable reviews of their jobs across different websites. Also their quoted price was in the middle of all five quotes I received. It turned out they showed up at the time they said they would. One of the owners was there to meet me and provided high level review of how they were going to repair. He also called me towards the end of repairs and told me they were going to adding one more pile outside of the quote in order to strengthen the foundation. But he won't charge me for that. After they finished the job, they left the site clean, no mess. I highly recommend their service!

Someone noticed that some of our stone in the front had cracks in the mortar and suggested having the foundation checked. Mr Vidal Bonilla came out and walked around the outside, making notes, measuring while drawing a schematic of the house. He came inside and measured all rooms and then assured us we did not need any work done on the foundation. I would highly recommend him if you are concerned you might have a problem.

We needed extensive foundation work done on our southwest Houston home. The slab had never been repaired since the neighborhood was built back in the '60s.

Let me lay the foundation of our understanding of this type of work for you first. My husband is extremely particular about how he wants house repair work done. He's an architect with structural engineering skills and he can be, well, a very difficult client to please. Plus, we both know a thing or two about building stuff.

We must have interviewed about six different companies before we selected Bonilla. Everyone told us something completely different from each other with fluctuating bids ranging from $8K to $37K. One of the larger and more established companies came in with the highest bid and told us some of the craziest stuff -- like trying to put a pier in the middle of the room where we didn't even have any beams running. I don't need an engineering degree to know that is wrong.

We settled on this company because we liked how Mr. Bonilla described our problems and he came across as very straightforward and honest. The cost seemed fair and was about in the middle of all of the bids. My husband also preferred the type of piers they used.

Our problems were extensive and they managed to get everything back in alignment nearly perfectly. Given the extensive work they needed to do within our interior, I would have expected them to make a mess, but they really kept it to a minimum and were very neat and tidy. They did top quality work when sealing up the breaks they needed to make in the slab -- using rebar, 4+ in of concrete, and plastic underneath it all to ensure their is no seepage of groundwater.

I cannot even express how happy I have been with their work. From start to finish, the entire team has been nothing but 100% professional. These people know their stuff and I enthusiastically recommend them to any and everyone.

Mr. Bonilla came to my property and provided his honest opinion that the property did not need any foundation repair, unlike other foundation companies that were trying to sell me an unnecessary service. Foundation repairs made 11 years ago are still good. Requested a estimate recently for the other side of the house. Mr. Bonilla arrived on time and estimated that though the measurements were a "little" off, he wouldn't recommend a immediate need to lift the foundation. He could've drawn up a bill to repair it and I would have gone ahead with his estimate. Now that's what I call a honest man. He even went as far as to repair a 2 ft wide concrete repair hole that came loose from the original job at no cost!!

Vidal is very nice and professional. He did excellent job to inspect the foundation of my home. Even though he didn't find any issue, he still shared the drawing and the details on the level of different points of my house, and some great advice on how to take care of my house to avoid potential foundation issue. Mr Bonilla was great. He was on time even on a rainy day when some of the roads were flooded and honest with his assessment that my house did not have a foundation issue. Everyone at Bonilla Foundation Repair did a fantastic job leveling my pier and beam house. It needed extensive work since I had 6"-7" variance in some locations. They came on time, got right to work, and fixed the major issues the house had. The owner Jose and all of his employees were very respectful and responsive. They explained what was being done in detail. They also did not charge me for anything extra, and even fixed a pipe for me that needed to be cut to resume the work. This was originally not in his scope of work but his crew went above and beyond. They cleaned everything around my home including sweeping my steps, driveway, and garage. It barely looked like they had been there at all. I will use them again and recommend them to anyone needing foundation repair.

My wife & I were concerned after noticing some settlement cracks forming in our drywall following the drought in summer 2023. Vidal arrived on-time for our scheduled appointment, reviewed the area and measured the foundation throughout the home - ultimately determining that foundation work was not needed. I have used Bonilla Foundation Repair on a number of occasions for investment properties and on my own home. The last job was approximately 4 months ago, Vidal Bonilla quickly assessed the specific problem with the home's foundation and drew up a specific plan to fix it. On the scheduled date Bonilla arrived early with an abundance of manpower and equipment, prepared the site to avoid any chance of collateral damage and the crew worked 2 full days until the job was complete. On the third day Bonilla came back to finish the cleanup and to make sure that I was satisfied. I made an online extensive search of Foundation repair companies before hiring one to level my 1929 pier and beam house. I looked for companies with experience, certifications, insurance, good reviews, etc. I hired Bonilla foundation and I am extremely satisfied. The repair of my house was scheduled one day after a storm passed. I went to check the house after the storm and found Bonilla foundation crew checking if the conditions were okay to start the work the next day. I had a very good experience with Bonilla. Vidal was very professional and he gave a very reasonable estimate for only the works that is needed. I have a very old house that sits on blocks and beams so the foundation has shifted overtime and the floor is uneven. Other contractors wants to charge a lot more for the fancy works that are not needed for my type of foundation. His crew also did a great job and got it done in one day. They cleaned up the place and explained to me in detail of what was done. I was very impressed with the work that I had his crew do some work and assessment on my rental property. Again, I found that Vidal is a very honest and not trying to charge me for things that are not needed. If I ever need any kind of foundation repair, I will definitely call Bonilla again.

I booked an inspection with Bonilla Foundation Repair based on their stellar Google reviews. Mr. Bonilla arrived a bit early and got right to work evaluating my home, inside and out. He provided a detailed drawing with clear measurements, and made a recommendation for some minor ventilation changes we could make to help slow some settling, but advised that we did not need any invasive work done. All free of charge. His honesty, friendliness, professionalism, and promptness were all appreciated and absolutely in-line with the reputation described in all of these reviews.
