Donovan was extremely courteous and very learned regarding my questions. I certainly will use them in the future if need be. He evaluated my situation honestly and promptly.

We’re more than happy with the job they did and wish we had done it sooner! Why?
1. Our house is an older home, one part is over 100 years old. Another part built in the ‘40s and a 3d part in the ‘60s; pier and beam. The floors creaked, and we felt like we were walking on a trampoline; doors wouldn’t lock (the W. TX wind could blow them open) and we felt like the floor would collapse into the crawl space. Dylan McGinty took a lot of measurements, photos and readings and presented his findings and pricing. It seemed high BUT we understood the situation.
2. They did their work almost 6 months ago, so we’ve had time to assess the actual quality of the work thoroughly and not just post a, “They came in, did their job and everything is fine” review, blah, blah, blah…
3. They’re an experienced TEAM, communicated with each other the entire time and asked us for our input. They did everything that needed to be done, quickly and efficiently. Now, the floors don’t creak or bounce, we don’t feel like we’re going to fall into the crawl space, and the doors lock and stay locked no matter what West Texas blows at us!
4. No cracked walls! There are a couple of cosmetic repairs that need to be done, but those existed BEFORE they leveled the floors!
5. Their service didn’t end when they completed the job. They communicate with us every month and treat us as valued friends, not just as a client. Dylan has even stopped by a couple of times just to check in and make sure everything is still working the way it’s supposed to. Anytime we have a question or comment, we can call or get online.
6. Our opinion: if you need your foundation repaired and floors leveled, you have finally found the best company to do the job!!!!! Just do it. The peace of mind is worth it!!!

Michael did a lovely job returning to check on the work performed. The workmen re worked the steps and the finished product was perfect for the installation. I am quite happy with the job

Sloppy work with multiple clear and obvious errors. The sales supervisor over my project, Michael, intended to gaslight me over the conditions of the job when I brought them to his attention. He chose to be willfully ignorant of the before and after photos that his people took that showed irreparable errors that left a previously unexposed junction box protruding from the concrete work by a full inch - in addition to the numerous areas where the concrete had not been properly filled, leaving gaps.

I believe I was fair in asking for a partial reimbursement given the issues. But despite multiple weeks of effort, Michael refused to meet me in good faith, continually suggesting that it was fine as is or that their work was not done incorrectly, despite clear evidence to the contrary.

Again, I requested a 'partial' reimbursement, I made clear that my intentions were not to be refunded the entire project - only the part where the errors were present, because I knew that the problem could not be cheaply resolved and I did not expect them to rip out and redo the whole thing. I paid $7400 for this work, I did not get what I paid for and Michael refused to seriously discuss any means of making the situation right. He will likely respond to this review and claim that they offered to fix the issue and I refused - this is his effort to intentionally dodge the point. I did not want any work to be done after the fact until we had come to an agreement on the extent of the resolution so that we were all on the same page. They only offered to "seal" the areas that had not been correctly done, but made it clear they had no intention to doing anything to address the more egregious issues. Michael attempted to convince me that there was no problem, despite being able to physically touch it, he attempted to convince me that it wasn't their fault and the problem clearly existed beforehand...

I chose to refuse them coming back to address the smaller gaps because I have no intention of continuing to work with a company that will so boldly lie to and steal from their customers after their employees left my property in a damaged and incomplete state.

Their work was utterly substandard, and Michael's behavior is frankly abhorrent. I had hoped they would be willing to work with me to make the situation as right as possible, but Michael left a profoundly sour taste in my mouth, and I am honestly considering speaking to a lawyer concerning both the work and his statements. I believe fully that I was stolen from, and I would highly recommend anyone considering their work to look elsewhere.

To prospective customers - If you must use their services, take as many photos before their work as possible, record the process as best you can, and have the site inspected by a third-party before and after to keep them honest.

To the owners of Childers - John did bad work, but I believe it was laziness due to the nature and locality of the job, I am sure he is capable if under the correct supervision. Michael, however, is a direct harm to your reputation. If I do choose to seek legal advice regarding the situation, it is due to his part as he made it clear to me that Childers is not willing to take responsibility for their failures, even going so far as to make excuses that are not based in any reasonable reality. It would seem that other people have had good experiences with your company, but I would find that Michael will, in the long term, be a distinct detriment to that.

I would be more than willing to speak to the owners directly should they wish to continue discussions on how to make this right. But I will not deal with Michael any further.

Slade and his crew were outstanding. They came and got the job done faster than they anticipated. Tristan was great. He came by to check to see how everything went. Would recommend.

Tanner stooped by for a courtesy check and was very professional and courteous. I showed him a couple problem areas I believe to be in the level of my home. He said he would mention it to the office and I'm now hoping somebody will come out and look at it. Thanks Tanner!

The technicians for Childers were very professional. They arrived on time. They completed all work requested promptly and explained what they did at every aspect of the repairs. The final report was detailed and accurate and all previous issues were resolved with our foundation adjustment. I would recommend highly for anyone seeking the same work.

Dylan came and looked at my house to evaluate if I had any structural damage. He did not find any. Was very professional and kind to this senior citizen. Will recommend your company who I hear needs your services.

Childers Brothers did an excellent job leveling our home. All of the employees were kind and explained in detail the complete procedure. Michael Cantu came by and delivered our Warranty and checked that we were completely satisfied.

Tanner just stopped by a couple of years after Childres Brothers raised our concrete slab foundation to check on us. Great customer service and support. Can’t say enough good things about Childres Brothers, they did an amazing job.

This is the place to go. I bought a house recently because I love older houses. One problem, foundation issues. Got a quote from another company. Wanted to finance and looking for a company that has an account. I asked these guys to take a look. Got a better quote and got approved for financing the same day. Walked me through every step with Upgrade. Sales person was the same person who took a look. 900sq ft done in one day before lunch. Nice and friendly. Call them. I will say they are busy and it might take a week for them to get back to you if you use the online chat.

Childers Brothers performed above and beyond dealing with our foundation issues. Dylan McGinty is who any customer would want handling the issues - professional, knowledgeable, personable, concerned and a number of other adjectives we could use to describe his effort for us. We’ve never had a worry with the team that helped us! You never will either!

Michael and Dylan helped me understand and feel great about what needed to happen with my pier and beam home. I’ve worked with other contractors and wouldn’t recommend any other company other than Childers Brothers. The crews worked so hard and now my foundation is solid and feels great! Dylan and Michael were so nice and professional. After introducing themselves and explaining about their company, we discussed the issue we saw on our home that could possibly be a foundation issue. They were very thorough and inspected inside and outside of our home. When they were thru with looking at everything, they explained no issues were found with our foundation. We had a good visit with them. We will recommend Childers Brothers company.

We are pleased with the work performed by Childers Brothers! They were professional and easy to work with and the crew was exceptional. They cleaned up well and Dylan McGinty took care of us as well as the ladies we talked to from their office.

From beginning to the end of the job, Juan and crew did an excellent job in repairing the footings on both sides of the garage! The area where they worked, was cleaned up after they were finished. He has checked with us to make sure all is well! This company is top notch and Donavan was polite, knowledgeable, and listened to our concerns, and questions. He answered and explained everything! Dylan and his crew did a great job. They were super friendly and polite! They did a great job and they left it perfectly clean. They had to go under my house so it could have made quite a mess but they left it clean. Now all my doors shut like they should!
