Having your fridge go out is never convenient especially on the weekend. A & R came to my house first thing on Saturday morning and had the part and everything fixed when they came out the next day. Rufat answers any questions you have and is very professional and upfront with pricing. I hopefully will not have another repair but Will definitely use again if needed.

The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable of the problem. He explained in detail what was wrong with the dryer. In addition, he broke down the cost of each part that was needed. Within 24 hours, my dryer was fixed. I will definitely use their service again.

I highly recommend A & R Appliance Repair! Rufat was awesome! He answered my call, confirmed my problem with my Samsung dryer, and propsed an excellent plan. Rufat was on time and was very professional. He also made recommendations to fix an issue with my washing machine. He was in and out and did a great job. And the pricing was reasonable. He saved me so much time. Thanks Rufat!

I called A&R regarding my refrigerator which stopped cooling the night before. Alex was able to come out that same day, he gave me a reasonable quote. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends.

Great Service. I called at 6:00pm on a Wednesday because my fridge broke down. Their worker at that time was in Atlanta doing a Job and I live in Buford. One of the owners took it upon himself to come out and service my fridge and the job was done within an hour of my calling. Very friendly and professional. I have no hesitations recommending A & R. Support this family owned business!

Our technician was professional and on time. He examined our refrigerator and determined it could be fixed and picked up the part and installed in all in one day. I would recommend this business and I plan to use them again.

HORRIBLE in my opinion ... Can I give less than 1 star?
Here’s my opinion of this train wreck of an experience: There are two people that seem to work at this company, father (Alex (sp?)) and son. His son has been very professional and reasonable. HOWEVER, Alex was, again in my opinion, out of control and unreliable. I first had an appointment in mid-March to repair a leaking ice maker. First, I was chastised about turning off the machine and the water, which was leaking through the floor into the basement, because he could not now see a leak. I had to point out the stains and show him the part that needed to be repaired because he seemingly couldn’t see the big water stains next to it. (All of this for $400.00; $200 down and $200 upon completion… WOW!) He left and it took weeks to get him back. When he returned, he switched the one part, asked for some water, and then said that he was too ill to finish. (I doubt it but agreed to reschedule.) THEN, there was a series of appointments, which he rescheduled at the last minute. TODAY IN LATE APRIL, he no showed on our 3rd attempt. He then had the audacity to yell at me on the phone because he missed the appointment, and I commented that it was the third time that I’d asked to leave work early for the repair.
First, $400.00 to replace one small part and clean the machine … exorbitant in my opinion. Second, he seemed to not want to complete the repair because he would have to lower the pedestal screws on the ice machine to pull it out and access the back of the unit. (To me, that seems like pretty good $$$ for such little work.) Finally, THE ATTITUDE WAS HORRIBLE. You want to yell at your customer because you no showed?!?!?
My opinion … Don’t rely on the 5 star ratings here. I did and got this for my troubles. I now will have to find someone worthwhile. -
Very happy A&R Appliance Repair was able to respond same day and fix a small issue with our electric dryer. The tech was professional and understanding of our concern and was able to fix the issue without having to order a new part. The original installer of the dryer over tightened a screw in the terminal which we found a year afterwards when we moved to our new home. The screw was broken off inside the terminal and made the dryer non-working. The tech was able to remove the screw and had the dryer back up and running. Thank you again!

When i called to make the appointment i reached a voicemail, i did not leave a message because I need it to set up an appointment that day so i kept calling, they actually called me back right away I was very impressed given that fact that no message was left. I knew right there i had the right company. They came out and gave me an estimate and were able to complete the job within 2 days. Very professional and fast. My dryer is no longer making the terrible noise and the technician even order a knob i was missing. Great Job. I Higly recommend them.

The tech Alex that came out to service our washing machine was great. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and order the replacement part necessary. Working with the office staff was a breeze and the job was completed quickly.

They were fast to respond, clean in how they worked, personable and the cost was great. I will call on them again if I need to have something else repaired. The only headache during the process was getting information to/from A&R and my warranty company and getting consistent information on how the repair could be paid and reimbursed. Since so many people have warranties I would recommend improving that communication process.

A&R was able to accommodate a same day appointment. Tim was running a little late, but that was no big deal to us. He arrived masked up/protected and didn’t need any special directions (I almost always have to talk technicians in).
At the risk of embarrassing ourselves, our leaking dishwasher was our fault. We bought the wrong soap! Tim gave us options on how to clean it out (as soapy build up can mess up your machine). He reported everything else looked good too. Let me be clear that he could’ve said the issue was several things and rack up a bill, but he didn’t. We highly value honesty in any business and will be using them again. I do recommend investing in fridge magnets for the techs to give to customers. That’s how I’ve remembered who I’ve used in the past.
Thanks A&R! -
I was very pleased by the service Alec provided . He came twice: fixed my refrigerator , then washer. Both appliances are working perfectly fine now. Alec's professionalism and punctuality are highly appreciated. I recommend this company to everyone who needs help with appliances.

My experience with this company was excellent. They went above and beyond to help us and fix our dryer. The young lady on the phone was attentive to my needs and made the whole experience convenient while making me feel like a valued customer. The gentleman Alec who came and fixed was very professional, kind, and intelligent. He did a thorough job, and I would certainly use this company everytime we will need fixing. Thank you A and R Appliance Repair.

Great and responsive service at a reasonable price. He was able to quickly assess why my oven "died" and quickly brought it back to life. Even when the oven "died" again....or so I thought.... He came back out and fixed the issue & explained the cause at no additional cost. My new go to for appliance repair!

A & R Appliance Repair, LLC deserves more than just a five-star rating for their exceptional service and integrity. Recently, I encountered an issue with one of my appliances. While I was fully prepared for a costly repair, the professionals at A & R offered expert advice over the phone that remarkably resolved my problem without the need for an in-person visit. This honesty and dedication to customer service are rare in today's world.
Most companies insist on a paid visit just to confirm what you already suspect, often leading to unnecessary expenses. But not A & R Appliance Repair. Their approach saved me hundreds of dollars, demonstrating their commitment not just to business, but to truly helping their customers.
I am thoroughly impressed by their professionalism and ethics. I wholeheartedly recommend A & R Appliance Repair, LLC to anyone in need of appliance repair services. Their upfront and honest guidance is a testament to their exceptional customer service. From now on, they are my go-to for any appliance issues, and I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family. -
Super friendly and honest. Took the time to explain things better then doctors do.

We are a property management company that used their refrigerator repair services for a broken fridge last week. The repair cost $385. The repair has failed and the refrigerator is not working again. We were given a 2 month warranty but they have not returned our phone calls concerning the warranty repair.

I called for a service appointment on my Maytag washer due to error codes F1 and F08. The machine would not continue the cycle, and after researching the issue, I learned these codes often indicate a clogged pump.
A technician from A&R came out. He did not open or inspect the washer internally. After only looking at the unit externally, he stated that it needed a new pump, quoted me $428 for the repair, and said he would have to order the part. I decided to seek a second opinion. I was charged $80 for the service call from A & R.
In preparation for the second appointment, I ordered a replacement pump from Amazon for under $177.82 in case it was actually needed.
A few days later, a technician from another company that I called for a second opinion, arrived. He disassembled the washer, thoroughly inspected it, and found that the pump was simply clogged with debris. After cleaning it out, he confirmed that the original pump was functioning properly and did not need replacement. When I asked whether I should go ahead and replace it anyway, he advised against it and recommended returning the part for a refund.
He spent about an hour on the repair, cleaned up after himself, and charged $185 for labor and the service call. We have since run multiple loads, and the washer is working perfectly.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend A&R for appliance repairs.
I encosed a photo of the service call ticket from A&R and washing machine but blurred my personal information at the top for privicay reasons. -
Their representative was very kind and professional; however, after two service attempts, the issue remains unresolved. The ice maker is still not functioning.
We are understandably disappointed that we must open another ticket with the manufacturer when the original issue was never corrected. This process feels inefficient and concerning, as we had expected a permanent resolution after the prior visits.
We would appreciate a definitive solution to fully resolve this matter.
