Although we couldn't pinpoint the problem, Shane successfully factory reset the unit and got it working perfectly. He even gave me helpful tips for long term maintenance. He was super helpful.

Updated…Just received an email this morning (the day of my service) canceling my appointment. This is after sending multiple reminders and confirmation. No reason or justification, just that it was cancelled and needed to be rescheduled. Now it is another week and a half before I can get the tech back out…
I just received a notification that my service date has been rescheduled..... I receive numerous notifications about it being scheduled today and follow ups confirming I needed to be home between 10am- 1pm. I have waited and planned to be off work today, then at 10am this morning (the day of my service) I get a new notification that my service would need to be rescheduled. I have waited on this dryer repair for almost 2 weeks and now have to wait another week. Someone needs to get this rectified. -
Jeremy called me and let me know he had to order the part for my repair. When he arrived, he knew exactly what the problem was and replaced the broken parts in less than 30 minutes. Now my dishwasher is working fine. Excellent service.

We recently used Flamingo to have our Maytag dryer repaired. The first technician repaired two items with the dryer. Unfortunately, that did not fix the problem. We had the pleasure of having Marcelo come out the second time and he was excellent. He immediately said we will figure out the problem and fix it today. He did just as he promised. Not only that he helped show how the clogged vent duct could be leading to the problem and gave a suggestion on who to contact. I really appreciate Marcelo and will without a doubt call Flamingo again for any appliance repair need.

In terms of Knowledge I would definitely recommend this company. One piece of constructive criticism to the technician. he was Super knowledgable, SUPER friendly, SO nice to my small dog and for the most part the perfect technician. But he smelled very very strong of cigararette smoke. As if he had smoked a pack before walking into the house. Last my only piece of critism and I mean it when I say, this was a Great Technician. We had our cleaning company clean that morning too and it just made the whole main level of the house smell like smoke.
I would 100% still give this company my business in the future and would highly recommend them based on knowledge, repairability, integrity, workmanship, skill, customer service, and all the things. -
Paul was prompt and, hopefully, he has solved the problem. This is the 2nd time I've had the same problem. The 1st time, the oven had to be replaced so this is a 3 month old oven having issues with the control center. Now the oven had to be repaired again. This was due to Whirlpool programming the control panel incorrectly!! After the 2nd repair, I lost my ability to use the convection oven and the air fryer and this was due to the faulty programming. I've lost most of my faith in Whirlpool. Paul seems to have fixed the problem. We'll see in time. I do NOT think I will ever purchase another Whirlpool product after all of these unnecessary problems.

A newer Whirlpool washing machine literally self-destructed—the drum broke loose and bent the sides of the cabinet. Whirlpool sent Flamingo to handle the repair. Instead of replacing the unit, Whirlpool authorized a full rebuild minus the drum to save money.
Two weeks later, the washer was unusable. During the spin cycle it’s so loud you can’t even hold a conversation in the same room. Flamingo came back out and confirmed what should have been obvious from the start: the drum now needs to be replaced.
Another two weeks go by, and on the day of the scheduled repair, Flamingo cancels via text message. No explanation. No reschedule. Calling customer service resulted in 20+ minutes on hold with no answer.
The technician himself was professional and courteous, but that’s where the positives end. Whirlpool’s customer service is awful, and Flamingo enables it by going along with half-repairs, wasting weeks of time, and canceling appointments last-minute with zero communication.
Recommendation #1: Avoid Whirlpool like the absolute plague.
Recommendation #2: Avoid Flamingo if at all possible.
If this is how they handle major failures on newer machines, neither company deserves your business. -
Flamingo appliance repair was awesome with my dishwasher repair. My tech was on time, actually early, and completed the job in record time. The "tech tracker" told me the precise time my tech was on his way to my house.....which is such a nice change from the standard "service window is between 8am-4pm" that most providers offer.

Andre was great. He came in made the repair, answered a few questions my wife had and was on his way.
We chatted while he worked. He was very personable and seemed like a person I would consider him to be an asset to your company. -
Our service technician was Avery. He was very informative. He spent extra time explaining to us an answering all of our questions with a smile, that his supervisor called. We definitely give Avery five stars.

The service took to long. First contact with Flamingo Repair Service was 12/12/2025. Completion of service 12/23/2025. The repair service advertised same day or next day service repair. Did not meet my expectations. I have an extended warranty. I thought that meant the cost of the repair and parts were covered by the extended warranty. However, to my surprise, I received an invoice for the part used to complete the repair. I was not informed that I was financially responsible for the part. Truly a dismal experience.

Terrible. Changed time, left house after not answering phone, did not even knock. Callback number put me on hold for 20 minutes. This was 3 days after the initial call
Gave up and called a competitor. Don’t waste your time and call someone else or fire up Chat GPT and fix it yourself.
Update. The bot replied and said it was sorry.
The company then charged us for a service call, said we were scheduled, then told us days later there was not record of payment.
Do not trust this business and the owners need to try out the customer service themselves. No respect for customer’s time / circumstances, poorly run, and unbelievably unorganized. -
Repair was scheduled yesterday. Got a text on Sunday to confirm it, then received a text yesterday morning to reschedule after taking a personal day from work for this. The excuse was that the tech called in sick. No other tech could come to handle the issue. A business should handle their commitments even if it means paying another tech overtime to accommodate an already set schedule. This is unprofessional and I will be reporting to Whirlpool, as Flamingo is an authorized warranty service repair. Maybe this will end that relationship.

Before my technician even walked through my front door for our appointment, he states that the parts department forgot to put the piece in his truck, so we'll have to reschedule. It was clear what the issue was and it could have absolutely been fixed in this first appointment, but instead I had to wait 5 more days to get my dishwasher repaired. (Not easy to keep up with dishes for 5 people and no working dishwasher for an additional 5 days, on top of the week we had already waited.) So especially not thrilled because after the 2nd appointment, I received an email stating that Flamingo "strives to fix every problem in the first visit" and the irony was deafening, but in that email they asked me to fill out a survey about my experience (which just lead me here, so here's my review).
My dishwasher is working great so far, now that the fix has actually occurred, but 2 stars off because they couldn't fix it for me in the first visit, even though that is what they claim to be about, and they had all the appropriate pieces set aside for my specific appointment but forgot about them. -
UPDATE: after a prolonged process of rescheduling before December 15th, we booked for the 29th. What a wonderful surprise this morning to get a text that the technician wasn’t coming. This is incredibly unprofessional.
ORIGINAL: Their technicians are nice when they are on-site, but other customer service is absolutely atrocious. We have THREE missed appointments, with no followup calls, and they have yet to return calls about rescheduling. They used an incorrect serial number to order parts. Our repair process started at the end of August; if half the repair fee wasn’t already paid we would have switched companies a long time ago. I wish I could give zero stars. -
We were referred to Flamingo from Whirlpool when it was discovered that our broken machine qualified for a "special project" warranty repair. On the first visit, our tech discovered that the wrong part was sent, but he was back a few days later with the correct part and quickly performed the repair. From start to finish, we were impressed with the customer updates and communications. We were not charged for the repair.

WORST service! Right off the bat the guy was dismissive and rude. Took them a week to come out and on top of that he didn’t even look at the appliance. Then emailed me a receipt as if he did the job! He did not even come into my house. The guy acted like he was ready to be done with his day and had no issue with leaving us stuck with a broken appliance. Impossible to get a hold of someone at this company to help too!

Pro:
Jeffery was very professional. He explained clearly what he was going to do. He worked quickly and efficiently.
Con:
Our dishwasher was only 2 weeks old when it quit working. It took week for a technician to arrive. That is not prompt service.
Nothing was fixed. Jeffery retracted the arm using a diagnostic mode and reseated the connectors. Nothing was replaced. THIS UNIT WILL FAIL AGAIN. The "maybe it won't happen again" approach to repair is not acceptable.
I am disappointed with the service I received.
WOW Flamingo you really did not read my review. The technician did NOT meet my expectations and I am NOT a satisfied customer. -
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.
We had four separate service visits under Work Order #7434409, and the dryer was never repaired. We have been without a functioning dryer since at least December 31, when the issue was first diagnosed.
The technician was professional and communicated well throughout the process. The problem was not the technician—it was the execution and parts supply process supporting the repair.
Each visit resulted in the same outcome:
- The wrong part was delivered multiple times
- On the final visit, the correct part arrived damaged and unusable
- The repair could not be completed after four attempts
At one point, a customer service agent explicitly stated that I would qualify for a full refund given the repeated failed visits. Despite this, when I formally requested the refund, the company refused to honor it, even though no repair was completed.
This reflects a broken parts and fulfillment process and poor follow-through on customer commitments. After over a month without a working dryer and no resolution, this experience fell well short of a reasonable standard of service. -
Fantastic service. Arrived on time (even early), Corey was able to fix our freezer in much less time than I expected and he was very courteous and professional. Communication was excellent, so glad I was able to find Flamingo, they are coming back to work on our oven, and I expect we will have a similar experience.
Also used Frankie on our oven. He honest and up front, and when he couldn't repair what we needed (not his fault, it's an outdated part) he told me how I can find it on my own. Very helpful! -
I am covered by Cinch Home Services and Flamingo Appliance Service was selected by them to repair my stove. I was pleased with the service I received from Andre. He quickly assessed that my Stove was over 15 years old and as he searched for parts to replace as needed, there was no longer an inventory of several parts to repair the appliance. He was a great communicator and I would recommend him and his company highly.
