G-Vac is amazing!!! They repaired my beloved old Hoover Sprint (c. 1998) and have it running like new. Brian did an exceptional job - quick to diagnose the issue, quick to fix it, and friendly and professional. I have brought my Kitchen Aid stand mixer here in the past as well. Cannot rave enough about this shop - experts in all things electric.

Contacted company for an emergency repair and booked a technician for same day service with a 3 hour window in which they could arrive. 2 hours and 40 minutes into said window, I called for an update since no one had called. The CS agent said they needed to contact the technician before letting me know what was going on. 11 minutes later, I received a text saying the technician had car trouble and they couldn’t come out until Monday. The lack of acceptable communication, in addition to the lackadaisical approach to my significant issue is why I’m leaving this review. If I can spare someone else the same treatment, it’s time well spent.

Right on time, very respectful. Go in checked everything out and gave me the news. Very direct, wish it was better news. I appreciated him being direct with me.

Yerzhan was an excellent technician. Worked meticulously to determine what our issue was. He left the laundry room in the same clean condition as when he walked in.

Khalid was fantastic. He showed up on time, diagnosed the issue with my dishwasher, and repaired it quickly. He was very professional and pleasant. I highly recommend him!

Serhii was GREAT. He came in and quickly diagnosed the problem in my Hoshizaki Ice Maker and, though he did not have the part he quickly procured one and within minutes had it up and running. It is still doing well. While his English was not the best, he was working on it very well and made good use of technology to make himself very clear, therefore there was no problem at all and I hope he continues his mastery of English. Great job.

A technician did not show up at all to my home but closed out the work order stating that they did when they did not. The tech falsely closed the work order stating that we declined the repair even though we never saw anyone come to make the repair after waiting 6 weeks for the appointment. Terrible company and workers.

Ruben M. is professional and courteous. He worked very diligently to repair the freezer door of my refrigerator. The previous repair person had misdiagnosed the problem and had ordered a little heater that wasn't necessary to replace. Ruben refunded the payment for the part and took it back to his truck for return. It turned out that the drain behind the freezer was clogged and the water wasn't draining properly. I was so grateful to have somebody who actually knew what he was doing. (I didn't know what else was wrong with the freezer, only that the freezer door wouldn't open properly. That was the original reason for calling a repair technician.) Ruben diagnosed the problem and explained what needed to be done. He asked me to check the freezer door after he had fixed the clogged drain, and the door now works perfectly. It was nice talking with you. Thank you!

Arrived timely, very courteous and professional. Quickly analyzed and fix problem. Sears need more employees like him.

The serviceman was excellent. I’d give him five stars. He diagnosed the problem and had us up and running with no problems. The automated customer support is a joke, however. I’d give it negative stars if I could. It kept changing our repair date stating that our parts were on back order. The parts sat in our home for three weeks while we were on a merry-go-round with customer service. Finally, the serviceman took the initiative to contact us and we sorted out the mixup. I understand that automation saves money, but human contact saves business. I’m reluctant to deal with Sears in the future.
