I hate that I’m writing this review.

If
I could give zero stars I would. We had a dryer issue and the blame was put on US! We were talked down to by the ”Owner” who tried to tell us we knew nothing about Duct work or Electrical work. (Which is why I called the company and paying them to do the work…of course we don’t!)

And he also tried to come at the reputation of another Black Owned Duct Business who he claimed didn’t do his job well with cleaning my ducts. Just unnecessarily loud and wrong.

Long story short we basically had to kick the man out of our home.

I always preach to Shop Black and give back to our Black entrepreneurs. But please think twice when choosing this company.

Im not going to go into huge detail because this is a brother. But customer service skills need a huge upgrade!!!!! Telling a customer "im not going to repeat myself " while Im actively trying to spend whatever money you desire is crazy to me.

Whirlpool stove burner would not turn off. City Boys R Us was fast quick and efficient

My refrigerator just stopped working on me all of a sudden. I called City boys and they came out the same and they fixed it immediately! They were so fast and the rate was awesome! Would recommend them any day!

I had an issue with my Samsung Dryer. I contacted Samsung, but they were unable to troubleshoot my issue over the phone. Turned out my motor was broken. They refered City Boys as a reputable service provider. I called the next day and the technician was able to see me the next day. We ordered the damaged part and repairs were made within a week. I will recommend City for all my appliance issues.

I had a Maytag washer that needed repair and I called a few days before Thanksgiving. The lid mysteriously cracked while I opened it, but Curtis easily diagnosed the issue and we got a new part ordered. That part came within 3 business days but unfortunately when Curtis came back out he noticed they shipped a damaged part. Curtis was able to handle the warranty claim and luckily I got a new part and the washer repaired right before Christmas. I had to do very little even though there was a bit of drama, so thanks to City Boys for their help.

I had to have a motherboard replaced and City Boys did a great job. Part had to be ordered after the initial assessment and the communication was great and the installer was courteous and explained everything I needed to know.
Highly recommend!

I called to see if I could get an estimate and the man had the nerve to say get your money together respectfully then call me back! He didn’t even care to hear about the problem and the reason I was calling! If I could rate this company 0 stars just based off how he tried to handle me then hung up in my face I would! Life is extremely too short to be that mean and bitter he should be ashamed!!

They fixed our "vintage" Whirlpool washing machine. Amazing job! Our technician never gave up on the project even it was super difficult. We love City Boys!

The City Boys R Us Team was great and they looked at whirlpool washing machine and was able to tell me what was wrong with my appliances in 5 minutes. I would definitely call them back.

My initial interaction was positive, and I originally left a five star review.

However, after following up with new test results showing the issue persisted and asking for a re evaluation, I was spoken to in a dismissive and condescending manner. Rather than reviewing the updated information, I was interrupted, told not to speak, and shut down instead of being met with professionalism.

Basic communication was lacking, which is why I chose to take my business elsewhere.

Whenever I have appliance issues I call City Boys. Curtis is very knowledgeable and gets the job done. Great customer service and resolution is possible within the same day.

We have been recommending members from our fellowship for over 10 years to these guys. Every appliance in our clubhouse has been serviced by City Boys R Us. Most recently our refrigerator was not freezing or making ice. Scheduled an appointment, part was ordered, and the tech had us back up and running within 3 business days 👍.

Called for someone to come out, when they came out the technician told me he was in a rush had a terrible attitude and tried to tell me he couldn’t help me but wanted me to pay him for showing up. He told me he couldn't fix or diagnose my issue with the refrigerator because he didn’t know the model number, so I called Frigidaire and got the model number. I gave him the model number so he can diagnose it went upstairs and came back and he was gone.

Don’t bother calling to let the dispatch know this happened because they don’t care at all I called 20 times. I had to call from multiple numbers just so they would answer and I had still yet to speak to a supervisor.

Totally unprofessional I wouldn’t recommend them if it was free, terrible place don’t waste your money

I have a Samsung Dryer, have had it for years. Dryer stopped working, called early in the morning and was able to get an appointment same day. Curtis came out to the house, very nice and knowledgeable. He explained everything in a language I knew. He replaced the parts needed in a timely manner, left the area clean and made sure to explain the warranty to me. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing any appliance repaired! I will be giving the CityBoys a call in the future!

City Boys R Us is a great company. My family having be using them for a few year now. We have the brand Roper, recently had an issue with our washer they able to come the next day of calling and replace the issue and also help out of looking at my dryer and was also able to get it replace in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend using this company for any issues that you make be having. Curtis was an amazing help and super informative about any issues I had. I truly appreciate the support and help for this company.

My husband attempted to clean our drain filter on our Samsung washer and stripped the housing which caused a leak. I searched for an emergency appliance repair company and found City Boys R Us. I agreed to the emergency rate, the tech came out determined the issue, and ordered the parts needed. We expected 3-5 business days for the part to arrive, it came in two days. The tech came out Monday night February 16th 2026 and completed the repair. My husband and I agreed to never watch YouTube and attempt a repair again LOL !!!

I purchased this Dryer from a seller on Facebook marketplace which was supposed to be working in its entirety no issues….it had a broken Drumbelt CityBoysRUs were amazing came out to help me and fixed it same day for a reasonable price i truly appreciate them! Would recommend 1000x more!
