Jay practically saved my sanity today! I’ve had bad experiences with two previous grass-cutters; the third time was a charm! Before I knew it, Jay had his mower in high gear! He was very respectful and a hard worker; he even trimmed and blew-off the walkways.My lawn looks beautiful! I gave him a good tip when I paid because he earned it; my yard looked awful before he arrived. I recommend Jay to anyone who is looking for a dedicated, conscientious lawn-care worker!

Wow! I was truly impressed with the customer service experience. The team did an excellent job. I was initially feeling a bit overwhelmed and concerned that I wouldn’t be able to get my lawn mowed, but reaching out to this company turned everything around. They made sure I was fully set up for success, and now my home looks amazing—definitely one of the best-looking houses in the neighborhood! I’ll absolutely continue using their services. This was a definite five-star customer service experience.

Terrible service!

I originally had a great experience with this company and kind of went on autopilot not checking in with them. My pro changed and they recommended bush trimming. I accepted the quote because it was reasonable.

MY BUSHES WERE BUTCHERED, none of the clippings on my driveway were blown off, they left clippers in my driveway that I ran over! Luckily I did not puncture a tire...

Because it is outside of the "5 day" dispute period I have no recourse? That's absurd, my bushes still look terrible. I have pictures dated with timestamps of the day I got home and saw the tragedy. Not only did the "pro" terribly cut my bushes, they cut down actual plants like cana lillies and a magnolia tree that was starting to grow.

I've now chatted with an agent in the app and called and they say they cannot possibly grant me a credit or send someone to remedy the issue because it's outside of the 5 day period "due to rate of growth on grass"...this isn't even about grass!

This was my first time using this service and my husband and I were COMPLETELY disappointed. I first scheduled for someone to come out 2 weeks prior to actually getting someone to even show up. I went through 3 different “pros” constantly rescheduling with no reason as to why. Then the 4th pro that actually showed up did a half ass job with our front yard and completely disregarded our backyard. We reached out to them letting them know that the job was incomplete and their reasoning was because our gate was closed. Not locked.. But closed lol. With us not even having a lock on our gate nor a latch, it didn’t make sense to us that they didn’t even try to just push it open. Anyways.. They ended up coming back out today and the job that they did .. they should’ve just left our yard alone. Both front and back. They didn’t do any of the weed eating (which was extra), didn’t do any edging, the mow itself was uneven, and then they left trash in our yard. Our yard looks like it wasn’t even touched. I didn’t even want to wait for a new “pro” to come out and fix anything because if that’s their 4 star pro .. I didn’t want another one at all. I ended up canceling my services.

Lawn Distress

This company required three cuts before cancelation with the agreement every two weeks. The July 3rd first cut good, second July 17th canceled several Lawn pro’s, see pictures of my butchered yard below, I did receive a $15 discount. Third cut due Aug 2nd then changed to Aug 3rd and finally again to Aug 11th, well past two weeks so I canceled ALL services. I feel
no further contact is needed since I’ve tried to revise it before this point.

I had high hopes for Lawn Starter, but unfortunately, the experience has been incredibly disappointing. The third-party providers they work with appear to be poorly vetted. Despite spending hundreds of dollars on landscaping this summer, the crew left my yard in disarray—blowing debris into my flower beds, leaving large clumps of grass across the lawn, and departing without any cleanup.
When I contacted customer service, I was offered a mere $15 credit, which felt dismissive given the damage. I’m now anticipating burns in my garden and weeds overtaking my flower beds. This level of service is unacceptable.

I hired Andrea for a one-time lawn cleanup, and he did an amazing job! The yard looked spotless, and he was thorough and professional. Now, he takes care of my lawn every two weeks, and I couldn’t be happier with his services. Always reliable, detail-oriented, and my lawn has never looked better. Highly recommend

LawnStarter”s Virgil is an amazing landscaping professional. He turned my leaf and tree branch covered lawn into a clean and sharply manicured home front. Super friendly and efficient. Timely and great customer service. If you’re looking for the exception, this is the one.

I can’t tell you how impressed I was with your two men (I didn’t see anyone else, so I assume they were the “crew). They did a beautiful job, above and beyond what I had expected…they even enjoyed themselves, particularly when they both fired up their blowers. But they worked the property with professionalism and I went down to thank them as they worked their way toward the street…I am terrible with names, but I appreciated their hard work. As a former business owner, I know how important good people are to the success of any company and you have two jewels in these two…give them good bonuses and I will personally request that they do future work here in the Spring.

Very pleased with my backyard makeover. Worth paying a premium price. They even pressure wash at the end to ensure a solid clean up!

Kate, Steve & their whole team did an amazing job with both our front and backyard. They made sure to do it right the first time and came back for whatever was needed, no detail was too big or small!

I wish I would have read reviews before reaching out to Kate. I would've saved myself a few headaches. The communication was horrible but more than that, Kate put the wrong product in an area that was created for kids to play. This mulch she put in our play area was full of splinters and is not safe for kids. She also put it over high quality playground mulch I had already paid for. She has been unresponsive and unwilling to correct the mistake.

This family is like our family. They have been with us for two homes now and we don't even consider contacting any one else for our landscaping. They act more like advisers and consultants that just happen to also do an amazing job at the end of the conversation. They've helped us through two difficult projects, only to end up on both occasions, with the best yard in the neighborhood. These guys are landscaping super heroes and such a pleasure to work with.

Kate, Steven, and team did a tremendous job re-doing our front yard. Their design and work is visually appealing and thoughtful. Tricky issues, including drainage, were addressed with care. I fully recommend without reservation!
