I called in for some gravel stones and a yard makeover. The customer service was excellent and fast. Great prices as well.

I paid for top soil. I walked back behind the business to take a look at the soil. The place where top soil was supposed to be was very low almost empty, I was told a new supply would be in that day. What they delivered was black mulch that Dekalb County gives away free. The amount of money I was charged was way more than what mulch cost. I have lived in the neighborhood for 40 years. The Dirt Guy is fairly new to the Redan at South Indian Creek Road location. I will go elsewhere for future purchases. I feel ripped off. Check out all the reviews here, there are too many one star reviews tucked away at the end.

Wow! Kind, and knowledgable. They helped me find the right M10 sand for my brick pathway, load it into my car, and were so patient with my questions. We're returning this week for pea gravel. Great service, location, website is really helpful, and the people are amazing. Thank you Dirt Guy and crew!

I originally ordered from another company. They could not deliver with over a week’s notice. Called the Dirt Guy and got NEXT DAY delivery. Great customer service. Highly recommend!

I ordered 4 yds of topsoil from them on 4/16/25. Everyone I interacted with from the guy on the phone, to the man in the office, to the delivery guy were all kind, professional and pleasant. Far better than Atlanta Landscaping Materials. They let you come to the property to inspect the material if you need as well. My only regret was not finding and calling them sooner.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company. I scheduled a gravel delivery, and they promised it would arrive on a specific day. That day came and went—no delivery, no call, no update. When I contacted them to ask when they would actually deliver it, the response I got was, “That’s a good question”, as if my order was a joke to them. They couldn’t give me a straight answer.

To make matters worse, the lady in the front office was beyond unhelpful. Instead of assisting me or giving me any kind of solution, she was dismissive, rude, and even told me to “shut up” during the conversation. Completely unprofessional behavior.

If you’re looking for a reliable landscaping supplier that respects its customers, this is NOT the place. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere.

Nice landscape supply company that offers the usual dirt, rock, mulch, road base, as well as stone. I only had to pick up some flagstones for a walk that I was installing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helping me layout the flagstones on the ground to see how much I needed. We then weighed and they helped me put it in my truck. Great prices on what I saw.

The company delivered in a timely manner and I was told that the fill dirt was great quality, however I will not be using them again. The driver that dropped off our dirt did not put his bucket down before he drove away, and in the process ripped out our internet cord from the street pole. The entire cord was just laying in our driveway and street, and we had to pay to get it reinstalled. I sent pictures and an email to the company right after it happened, but I have not heard a response or any type of apology for destroying our property. It is a shame because I needed more dirt but had to go with a different company.

I was driving behind a truck that I learned was being driven by Victor in the Mt Park area. He was cut off several times and maintained a professional distance, speed and control of his truck. Well done sir.

I ordered 9 scoops of mulch. Everyone I interacted with was extremely professional, and polite. The driver was in contact from the loading to the delivery, and placed it exactly where I wanted, even without me on premesis. As a landscaper, I will absolutely use this service again in the future. I'm very pleased with the quality of the mulch I purchased, and very timely same day delivery was great. The mulch had very little debris. I've purchased mulch from other suppliers that was riddled with garbage, but I have no complaints about this supplier. High quality product, delivered in a timely, accurate manner, and professional, polite employees. What more could I ask for?

He pulled a bait and switch on Facebook Marketplace ad for 6x6x8 timbers. Went to get 30. Cashier lady said $36 ea. I showed her the ad and confirm it was same item which was listed $28. Called owner and he said price went up and change the ad immediately and would not honor advertised price. Be careful of false advertising.

I have been nothing but pleased with my experience with The Dirt Guy. I purchased 4 bulk bags of landscaper's soil and 3 bulk bags of Granite #57 for a front yard drainage project and thought their pricing was very reasonable. Their next-day delivery service is top-notch. The driver was friendly and made sure he placed the bags right where I needed them. I highly recommend them for you landscape supply needs!

This is my go to place for my landscaping supplies. I love that this location is so conveniently located in The Stone Mt, Decatur area. The driver Tiny is absolutely Amazing and the the office girl Lina is so pleasant and knowledgeable about the products. Tiny came in on her off day just to make sure that I got my delivery in a timely manner. Thanks Dirt Guy. I will be back

If I could give zero stars, I would. An order was placed for gravel at 3 pm on Saturday. It was confirmed, but then they called at 1:30 on Saturday to say they close at 2 and there was nothing they could do except deliver on Monday. Monday came, and the driver was over an hour late because she went to the wrong house. She refused to take any direction and dumped half the load onto the driveway while also almost taking out the power line with the raised truck bed. When she attempted to leave, she put the truck in reverse and floored it running into the gravel pile and then sat and spun her tires causing gravel to be thrown everywhere and digging gravel into the concrete driveway. She continued to not take any direction and ran over the county sewer pipe shattering it. She tried to take off, but since there was construction being done in the neighborhood, she couldn’t. She then called her supervisor to tell him her side of the story and then got out of the truck and immediately started video recording the guy as he asked her to document the damages she caused. She didn’t, told him to have a nice day, and left. Multiple calls have been made to this company regarding this and the calls have been left on hold, sent to voicemail, and hung up on. When the manager/supervisor was finally reached, he dug his heels in and sided with his driver claiming no wrongdoing. This company should be shut down.

The Dirt Guy was exceptional!! Tiny was very knowledgeable and professional guiding us through the decision and ordering process. She stayed in constant contact all the way to delivery (even suggesting a schedule change due to weather). The flexibility with our needs and the delivery reduced any anxiety associated with our DIY retaining wall project.
