Such a wonderful work and Company!!!
I picked Hawaii Home Remodel based on Yelp reviews and they didn't disappoint me.
From the initial meeting to select our cabinets and quartz countertops to the final day of installation and clean-up, this company exceeded our expectations.
The work started and finished exactly when they told us it would. There were absolutely no surprises and the quality of workmanship is great. Keith and Xiao are great to work with. I Strongly recommend this amazing company!!!!! -
Amazing quality and customer service from Keith and Jeff. They have amazing turnaround time, and I ultimately chose them amongst other contractors because of how well they communicate. They are very reasonably priced and are not out to price gauge. Because they communicate so well, it leaves no room for misunderstandings or miscommunication. I am definitely using them for all my future home renovations and recommending them to everyone I know.

Great place for all your electrical issues and needs

They are the largest electrical contractor in the state of Hawaii for a reason. While they work on the largest projects, private or public sector, in Hawaii, the do a great job on any sized project. From TI work to high rise condos, Wasa's workmanship will impress.

Much thanks and appreciation to the Wasa Electrical Services team for all of their care and support in Habilitat's first ever Driving Change Charity Golf Tournament. They are helping to save lives and create futures. It was only possible because of the generosity and Aloha from great organizations such as theirs! We truly value their mission and all that they do!

We recently remodeled our kitchen and two baths and decided on using Kitchen and Bath Remodling. FYI, we were glad to picked them as our contractor and resource who exceeded our expectation. Most important, they are employed by professional personnel that have the knowledge and experience in managing and completing your remodel to your satisfaction.

Finally got that damn company, out of my house, but not out of my mind, disgusted with the quality of workmanship of fit and finish and with the problems they created. Spending that kind of money that I worked so hard for, I expected good quality, I threw away their business card and wouldn't recommend them to anyone and use this company ever again. I worked with individual professional and did at one time, these kind of work, I can spot things ordinary people cannot. Problem started from day one, when 2 guys came to install laminate onto my old kitchen cabinets called(refacing). one guy had problem of cutting a 3/4 X 3/4 inch thick trim wood, I lent him my saw and miter box, to have a clean cut. The cutting and gluing of the laminate, was done on my kitchen floor, with only a 2 step stool, to reach the cabinets. They finished and left, on my inspection, the wood trim and laminate was uneven, 2 top corners edge was loose and not attached. Two weeks later, they brought in all the kitchen and bathroom cabinets, stacked it up on my kitchen floor, with no pad or tarp to protect the flooring. They cut, drill, sand, and produce dust thru out the house, while there were ample room outside the carport. Then came the second problem, they finished and left, but incomplete, missing items, like 4 doors and handles. Then I noticed the height of the cabinets, was not what we discuss, it was noted in his notes, but not on the final drawings, that person who made the cabinets, I explained what I wanted, but not in the drawings. I called Troy, and told him to check his notes and get back to me, he suggested to cut the bottom of the toe kick, to lower the height. I told him to call me, before sending his crew, I wanted to discuss it with my wife. The next day, without warning, he called and said he crew was on their way, to corrected the problem. I decided not to have the toe kick, cut down from 4 inch to 2 inch, that would created problem of going to the kitchen counter of sink and scrapping your foot, on the lowered cabinet. The next day or so, troy came by without notice, to see the cabinets, and would give me a credit for it, he did not want to completely remove the kitchen cabinets, and rebuild from scratch, which would cost him loss of time, labor and materials, instead he wanted to go with cheapest and easy's way, to that problem and I did not want his solution and left the cabinet height as is, then I mention why they didn't built the cabinet, all the way to the wall, leaving a 3 inch gap, his respond was, "we don't do that" up to the wall. I mention to Troy, to tell his people, when they come to someone place, treat like their own home and show some respect. The third problem, the bathroom cabinet, was suppose to have a open back and all the way to the wall, but was not, had a 4 inch gap, he said the drawing was right, but we had a previous discussion, and wanted it fixed.
Days later, no advance warning, the crew called " can we come now"they came with the missing doors and handles, and to correct some things, like removing a screw that went thru the outside all, with the tip sticking out, and modified the bathroom cabinet shelf, also grinding the uneven wood trim they installed, and yet I had to hand sand it for a better finished look. I gave Jeff, the bathroom shelf measurement to replace the middle shelf, that was replace, which was too short.
The following week, came with drop cloth to protect the flooring and measured and replace bathroom shelf. 4 days later, counter top came and finished.
In the beginning, Troy sale pitch was nice and charming, but when I brought out the previous problem, then he got defensive and try to make excuses, when I suggested a edge tape that can be applied to the rough edge for clean look, he responded " we don't do that" he didn't respect my judgement as long he has his. I have no respect for this company when they don't respect me. -
I needed to replace 2 doors on my refaced kitchen cabinets before I sold my condo. Even though I didn't have an appointment, Diane squeezed me in due to my timeline. I thought the doors had one design but they pointed me to a different one they actually matched. I was told they would be in, in 6 weeks.
At 6 weeks I called to check on the status. The gentleman that answered the phone said they had been in for a week and that they notified me. I replied that I had not spoken to anyone and had no messages from them. He then repeated I had a message and insinuated I was lying. At which point we were going nowhere so I moved the conversation on to picking up the doors.
I needed to bring the original doors so they could measure drill points and due to the timing (open houses, showings, and oh yeah I work until 4), I was unable to pickup the doors for a week. When I got there with my old doors, I found the new doors are not a match. The routing is wrong. Kitchen and Bath Remodeling offered to order new doors, but the doors would arrive the day I leave the island leaving me no time to paint them to match the rest of my kitchen.
So after all that, Kitchen and Bath Remodeling thought it was fair to keep 70+% of their very, very expensive price and I think it is fair to share my experience with all of you. -
They say that remodeling is stressful but I found my stressed was erased as soon as I chose Kitchen and Bath Remodeling for my kitchen and bath cupboard refacing. Troy and his Ohana are very easy to work with and were patient with all my questions and concerns. Everyone was respectful of my choices and yet helpful by explaining different costs and products as well as suggesting great places to make related purchases. They also have a plumbing and a counter company that work with them like clockwork to give an amazing finish product. I would never know my cupboards were refaced, rather then completely new. I definitely recommend this company and hope to be able to use them in the future for any additional remodeling. It is easy to see that everyone involved believed in quality workmanship. It was nice to see everyone be proud of their work and concerned that I was pleased with their work. Thank you Kitchen and Bath Remodeling. My remodel turned out even better then I dreamed.
