Russall & Mark did such an incredible job!! The carpet in my apartment looks brand new! There were stains that I didn't think were going to ever come out. 10/10 recommend.

I am a General manager at a condo complex, called MDS due to high recommendations and positive reviews on google. Response time was great, removal of mold was also top notch (but read Below for more on that). The repair on the other hand, lets just say I have no good things to say about the repair work. Repairs where laser straight if you turned your head sideways and looked at it crossed eyed. Its like they had no idea what a level was, this was from 7-10 ft away. Up close just never seen such bad work, what makes it worse they tried to pass it off as complete. Demanding payment when JOB IS NOT COMPLETE. I should have checked Y E L P after reading the negative reviews there I would not have used MDS Restoration and Cleaning. They where constantly trying to get the homeowner to sign off on the work so they can just walk away free and clear. No company with any integrity at all should ever do work like this.
To continue on the mold the removal was top notch for the mold that they decided to remove. Bottom of drywall next to door visible 3 inch by 3 inch section all black, window frames black with mold. I'm not the expert I could see this, looked exactly the same as all the mold they removed they just decided to skip stuff.
I've been in the business for over 10 years dealt with many companies, some good some bad. Normally the bad ones I just shrug my shoulders and move on. MDS excels at poor workmanship I have no choice but to do a review, in hopes of sparing someone throwing away good money. -
It is the most dishonest company I ever had. After technician Alan (good guy) assessed the damage, the company refused to give a quote, but agreed the price in a range of $1,000-$ 2,000. Then Blake called me to turn down the job for the reason that the company may not be able to collect the money. Such a ridiculous behavior. Advise prospective customers to be careful with them.
Negative star! -
My water heater broke, and flooded two rooms and MD responded very quickly to help with the mess. Some minor water damage occurred, and the carpet was totally soaked, but they handled everything before mold set in. I Highly recommend their services.

MD's done it again! Our landlord put rat poisoning in our laundry room for whatever reason. The heat in Waipahu has been REAL lately... My boyfriend and I started smelling something nasty this afternoon...it kept getting worse and worse.. by 10pm tonight, it was too much to handle. We found the source of the odor (dead rodent). Tried calling pest control, but nobody was available. They were all closed. No 24 hour pest control, I guess. No way am I going to sleep at night after grabbing that thing. So we decided to give it a shot and call MD. Apparently, it was a first for these guys to have someone request for dead rodent cleanup, but lo and behold, they were willing to come out at 12:30am (yes, midnight) to get rid of the not-so-little late trespasser, and to disinfect the area of the mess. I don't mean to be gruesome with the horrible details, but everyone knows what comes with dead rodents (flies, their babies, and a very bad odor - you tell me what's scarier than that!). Very, very grateful for you, MD and MD crew! Thank you to their call center for passing the message on so quickly. Thank you to Ryan Fernandez for calling your manager to coordinate this late night mess. Thank you to Ryan's manager - I believe Ryan told me his name is Rey? - for answering your phone so late at night. Thank you to Lance Remigio for coming out so late and cleaning up so well! Also, thank you Troy Chikazimawa (don't quite remember his last name...made sure I wrote down everyone's last name for this review but his - OOPS!) for returning the call I made to you before calling the office number confirming that this could be done before the technician, Lance called with an ETA. Received three phone calls in a matter of five minutes! You guys are too awesome. I can tell from the services I received that professionalism, appearance and efficiency is top priority with this company. Thank you again, MD Restoration!

We called MD Restoration when our water heater leaked in our condo. We also got an estimate from them to replace our flooring after the water damage and decided to go with them as a one stop shop. While the work they did was OK, I was unhappy with the fact that they hired a sub-par sub-contractor to do the actual work -- not their own team. They grossly over-estimated the time it would take -- telling me it would take 7 business days to complete the work . when it only ended up taking 2. My husband and I took off from work only to have it be done sooner. Not really a good way to manage expectations when it's so extreme. We were also not happy with the amount MD marked up their rates and hid costs within their estimates. For the work we had done, we could have gotten it done by a better crew for 1/2 the cost. Make sure you check their work and check the estimate to what was actually done. Won't use them again as it was a ripoff.

We needed to clean our carpets for a move-out. Russall was very professional, courteous and on time. He showed us how much dirt was extracted. Job was so well done, that we immediately hired him for our "move-in" carpet cleaning extraction. Thank you, Russall.

Blake HIga was very good in helping me getting things done. He gave good advice and good explanation of what is best. He always answers my phone call even at home early morning. He delivered important papers to me where I’m at where I’m not allowed to go outside because of security. I highly recommend MD Restoration to everyone for 5 stars work done . Myself brother told me about MD and I talked glad.

MD Cleaning & Restoration has always done a SUPERB job of cleaning my carpets. They are efficient, on time, professional, and finish the work in a timely manner. I find this company to be reliable and dependable and would not hesitate to use them again.

The remediation crew (AJ & Tristan) and the repair crew (Anthony) did an excellent job. The work was done well, they were all polite and kept me informed about what was going on and what was going to happen. Their supervisors did follow up to. I recommend them highly and will use them again if the need arises.

MD Restoration did an absolutely fantastic job replacing the flooring and painting our entire Multi-Purpose Room at the Susannah Wesley Community Center. Each crew that worked (floor removal, floor installation, floor sealing & polishing, and painting) was diligent and took great pride in their work. From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience. We are VERY pleased with their quality of work, value and highly recommend MD Restoration to others.

Russ & Pete were the 2 gentleman that assisted me & my hubby with our carpet cleaning on Friday & they were both very professional & communicative & prompt!
They were also so very polite & Russ did great in explaining the process / breakdown of what they'll be doing & locked up behind themselves.
Im glad, they were great since i also referred my sister to go through their company as well! -
Our experience with MD Restoration was so good that I immediately had to come and review them before they’ve left the driveway. The whole process went perfectly from start to finish. They were clean, respectful, and absolutely professional. I always worry about contractors leaving my home and mess and they left the bathroom in perfect condition as well as the rest of my house that they had to walk through for the job. If you’re hiring someone else, you’re making a mistake. We couldn’t be happier, thank you MD!

We had MD Restoration come to our rental to clean our carpets for our move out inspection. The inspector said the carpets looked brand new! I will continue to use them at our new home! Not only was the service fabulous, the price was fantastic. Good quality, very courteous, and professional services. Two thumbs up!

MD Restoration deserves 10 stars if Google would allow. From the floor above our office, a pipe broke and flooded not only the floor above but our floor as well. I called on Labor Day evening when no one is working, and MD Restoration came out immediately. Lono and Diana did an outstanding job of working with the plumber to stop the leak above. They were both friendly and professional in helping us limit the damage to my office. At 11 pm on Labor Day, I had to go home to get ready for the next day, and yet they stayed to continue to extract the water and start the lengthy process of restoration. They understand all the EPA rules and follow them to a "T". Once the emergency crew turned the lengthy job of remediation and repair over, they passed the baton to Blake who was always responsive, had a positive attitude, and ultra reliable. The water had to be checked for bacteria, the walls had to be checked for asbestos, even the air had to be checked to meet EPA standards, and MD Restoration went above and beyond to see to it that I not only got my office back, but that at every step, safety was paramount. What could have been a business-killing disaster was turned around into a quick, effective and safe "restoration". I have my office back, we know it is safe, and the work they did was top drawer. The drywalls show no sign of patching, the color match for the paint was superb, and incredibly, unlike most construction companies, their post restoration clean up left my office ready for business. Again, I would give them 10 stars if I could and my wife would give Blake 15!!!

Lance and Justin's work included removal of dry wall, flooring and cabinets where water damage occurred, sealing off affected areas and testing them for mold and asbestos and preparing areas for restoration.
They were neat friendly timely and careful in explaining what had to be done and the time it would take.
All work was done professionally. They cleaned up very well at the end of each day and showed up on time as planned. We highly recommend them.
Tony Tibuyen came out to install our cabinet and replace marble top and faucet in laundry area. He was very professional, gave me cnoices, cleaned up very well and was a nice person to have in our home. Recommend him highly. -
When we contacted MD Restoration we had already dealt with several other unresponsive companies. We were also struggling with insurance companies to help get our unit repaired after our neighboring unit had a water leak.
Troy was very responsive and took the time to explain things to us. Once MD got involved we finally felt like the job was on track to be completed. Troy helped us understand the scope of the repairs and was very knowledgeable about how insurance works too.
Our repair job was pretty big and we worked with MD Restoration for almost a month (longer if we include all of the planning)...during that time we came into contact with several of the crew members and office staff that helped us.
AJ, Mike, Lance and Justin kept us updated on the mold and asbestos removal. Andy and Kimo did a great job on the drywall and our new floor (probably my favorite part of the repairs). I talked with Andy several times...great guy. Tony and Ren worked pretty late (thank you!) installing our new cabinets which look much nicer than our older cabinets.
Rey and Brandy sent us an email every night with pictures of the progress. This was unexpected but was greatly appreciated.
Chris came out to finish the repairs and like everyone else we met, he was courteous and I was impressed with his work on our kitchen tiles. Nick was also helpful putting the finishing touches on the repairs.
We also worked with Cora, Chase, Josiah and Dailyn from the office. Everyone we came into contact with was professional, polite and took the time to answer our questions.
Needing to do a large and expensive repair is stressful, but at the same time we were dealing with the water damage; we were also dealing with several serious family matters. While we are very satisfied with the quality of the workmanship and communication MD displayed throughout the process, what we will remember most is the kindness Troy and the MD staff and crew displayed to our family.
Thank you MD Restoration -
There was a leak from the toilet and shower coming from the unit above me which damaged my ceiling, bathroom, vanity area, and a wall of my master bedroom. I called MD Restoration and Paul Parke, Project Manager, came to my unit to do an assessment of the damage. Paul worked with the field inspector from my insurance company to determine the scope of work to repair my unit. During the entire process, Paul was very responsive to my questions by phone, email, and text. The demolition crew, Aaron, Anthony, and Kayson, took care to protect the flooring and sealed up the damaged area so not to expose the rest of my unit to dust and any possible mold. They were able to remove my recently installed bathroom countertop, cabinets, and mirror without any damage. They did an amazing job. The repair crew restored my unit to its pre-damaged condition and it looks great! I was provided with updates and photos during the demo and repair process. The office staff, Brandy, Rey, Troy, and Chase, were also helpful and responsive to my questions. From the beginning, everyone at MD Restoration was polite and professional. I would recommend using MD Restoration!

I burned a pot on the stove and needed smoke mitigation. MD Restoration's Project manager, Paul, did a great job, but we needed to run the machines venting the smoke a few more days to totally get rid of the smoky air in the unit which was making me sick.
For doing the job completely to safeguard my health, MD Restoration charged me $5,000 above the "industry standard" which I must pay out of pocket.
They ran a couple of machines s little longer---its not as if they did any "work" the way a tiler or carpenter actually do work---and they made an easy $5,000 and a huge hole in my budget that really hurts. I thought the few days might cost maybe $1,000 to $2,000 more, which seems reasonable. As my insurance agent said, "It's a choice they make."----Mrs. Jim Brewer -
MD restoration was hired to do the repairs to my apartment by the property management company after the unit above had a leak. The lack of communication was appalling.
We had set a date when the the damaged ceiling was to be removed but no one contacted me when workers would arrive, what needed to be done on my end to clear space for the workers, and to arrange access to the unit. I awoke to them knocking on my door and returned the following day to my stuff strewn across multiple rooms of my house. I could have packed it up, I could have been up and ready but nothing was communicated. Even when the demo work was done, they texted that they would communicate when clearance to reenter the unit would be but I heard nothing back and called the next day as I was checking out of my hotel only to find that work had been completed the day before and that they again, "thought they had messaged me." The following day they returned to put in the drywall for the ceiling, but again, no communication about arrival times or work that was being done and how long they would be in the unit. I've given up contacting the coordinator and just talk with the construction crew as they actually contact me and inform me of all the important information.
I would have fired them and hired a new company if it were my unit and not the property management coordinating the repairs. -
I was very concerned with their first attempt to complete “move out cleaning” on my condominium. But one of their employees came back and agreed, so she completed a full on deep cleaning, including, going to City Mill, to repair my refrigerator water line that was leaking. WOW I wish I knew her name, I think it was Pualani, so I can thank her for going the extra Mile to fix the problem. I am so thankful. The success in selling my condo, along with the best Realtor Susan Borochov can be attributed to both of them. Forever grateful! Highly recommend.
