Alden was great! He called to let me know he was on the way, showed up on time, identified and explained the problem, and explained the options and pricing. Really appreciate the excellent service!

Daniel J was absolutely amazing! Very knowledgeable and helped with many electric issues we were having. He was friendly and quick! Ensured we got our money's worth. Would definitely recommend. Also one of the cheapest on the island and the service call goes towards whatever needed fixed which I loved. Didn't try to rip us off or blow smoke trying to get us by things that weren't needed.

We hired EI for electrical work and were fortunate to have Josiah as our electrician. He was excellent at communicating and was fair and honest with the work being done. He was informative and answered any questions we had as well as made our plans work as efficiently as possibly on the electrical side. He gave me recommendations on lights to buy that ended up being great as well as other advice that was very helpful. Highly recommend giving them a shot. Mahalo Josiah!

Dan showed up the day after I called. He was highly knowledgeable and professional. It was too late in the day to actually start on anything but the Dan assessed what needed to be done and gave us a ballpark guesstimate. It was way higher than we anticipated so we decided we couldn’t do everything at once. There were to be several phases, each guessimated at $2K. I do like the company policy to take care of all electrical requests, not saying “”Oh we don’t do that…” We got a second (free) estimate from another licensed electrician and it is much less but not as timely as E1. E1 policy is to charge to look at job site but will credit that fee when they do the job. We have more time than money so we are not going with E1 at this time.

I’ve used E I Electrical for a couple of jobs. They’ve replaced my fuse panel, updated my outlets, and fixed my bathroom lighting. The price was acceptable enough that I didn’t bother shopping around for additional quotes. The technicians were always extremely polite and punctual. Moriah was the most recent tech who helped; wonderful to work with! They were able to come to my unit the same day I called, too, which was a huge advantage. Plus, the work they did finished quickly. I’d highly recommend their services if you’re in need of any size electrical work. 👍

They did a horrible job using zip ties to tie up the wires and this led to the wires hanging. They didn’t care about doing the job right and did not try to come back and fix it.

The work and fees were explained to me until I was satisfied, and the billing was clear. I was also grateful that Alden was very kind to me, a senior, and proceeded with the work with my consent and It was a fast, smooth and good job. I’m glad I chose E 1 Electrical.

Alden & Ethan did a great job today installing outlets and light, their work turned out great great guys much appreciated.

We had an excellent experience working with Dan K and can’t recommend him enough. From start to finish, Dan was timely, efficient, and incredibly kind. He arrived exactly when he said he would, got straight to work, and completed the job with professionalism and care.

What really set Dan apart was his willingness to explain everything clearly. He didn’t just fix the issue—he took the time to educate us on what needed to be done and why, which I really appreciated. It’s rare to find someone so knowledgeable and patient who’s also such a great communicator.

Alden did a thorough job of trying to troubleshoot the intermittent issue of my GFCI outlet and a GFCI breaker tripping. He checked for shorts, checked that the loads were under the threshold of the GFCI. He also checked my breaker panel for any faulty breakers. Alden then gave me several options and prices to attempt to resolve my issues.

First of all, a human being answered the phone -- not a recording -- took my information, and booked an appointment. That alone was amazing. Technician Alden R. was on time (early, in fact), polite, pleasant, gracious, and did a great job fixing a circuit problem and replacing two ceiling fans. Cost in line with my expectation. A very good experience.

E I Electrical was timely with responding to my call and fitted me into their schedule the following week. Mike was personable and knowledgeable. He was great at explaining what was being done and was able to complete the jobs that we inquired about.

Alden was very knowledgeable and able to decipher my old circuit breaker panel to add room for a dedicated outlet and ran it through the wall neatly. He made it possible for me to upgrade my washer and dryer safely and efficiently and explained everything really well. Thank you!

Updated review 11/28:
Took 2 days and about 10 calls but we finally got management to come out and check the work done. They checked the wall and cut pipe for moisture which relieved some of my concerns. Score increased but limited r/t issues with communication and delayed response. I’m sure the experience is all based on the subcontractors that are offered the job. Wishing you better luck!

Original review 11/26:
Botched job on a brand new home. Wanted three outlets in the garage but got huge holes and a cut PVC waterline instead. No stud finders, just guesswork and a hack job on the wall. They sealed the wall with obvious water damage to dry wall, it was not dried out. No follow up provided for professional services. This still needs to be dried out and I want a plumber to check the seal on the pipe. They charged me in advance $1400+ for the three outlets. Extremely high considering the work provided. Called for and waiting on management to correct this issue. Review update pending management response.

Don't bother hiring this company. While the tech was friendly enough. The business practice leaves much to be desired. All we needed was a few wires connected to a Vanity lamp. They charged us 195.00 just to show up. Once he assessed the work. I figured we would have money coming back as the job could have been done in several minutes. However the Tech wrote us an estimate for over 758.00 in addition to the 195.00 we already paid. Needless to say, they didn't get the job. We had a real pro come in today and he did the job in 20 minutes.
Live and learn. Don't hire folks based on Google.

John did an excellent job in replacing all of my circuit breakers in the panel box and outside box. He also changed one of my electrical outlet. He is very professional. I would recommend him to any customer who needs to do some electrical work.

Have been a member of E I Electrical’s discount program for several years now. Always outstanding work and accommodating of weekends. Today’s technician, Alden, was on time, professional, knowledgeable, and he performed his work cleanly. Highly recommend his services.

Mariah did excellent work on our fans/lighting in our living room and kitchen. She was very helpful and helped us understand hiw to operate our nest lighting. We will definitely use her and EI Electrical again.

Dan was a great electrician. Worked fast and explained GFCI outlet installation. Also gave me a quote if I wanted install some lighting and recommended where to install smoke detector.

I want to be very transparent on this review. The technician who came out was a very nice guy and tried to educate me about electrical work. The problem here is that all he constantly kept saying is how expensive they are and didn’t seem like he had time to fix our issues. I paid $195 for the service call and I’m still stuck with basically the same issue. I have multiple lights and ceiling fans that are interfering with each other in separate rooms. Basically I was quoted an insane amount to replace ceiling fans when that is not the whole electrical issue.
