After years of swearing that I would never move into a new construction neighborhood.. we are HAPPY we finally did! From the layout of our home, to the landscaping and experience getting into this community, we could not be happier. Plants, trees, and lighting are important to us as well, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that our neighborhood has beautiful street lamps and a tree planted in front of every lot. The neighbors we have met are incredibly friendly as well. Overall, we are pleased with our new home and look forward to growing here in this community.

UPDATE AFTER 1 YEAR:
Editing my review to reflect the fact the Smith Douglas continued to be great and easy to work with throughout our first year. All of our few warranty requests were addressed quickly. We had only a few minor issues, and most were to be expected. Using the homeowner’s portal, I was able to submit these issues under the warranty request tab. Every single time, we were quickly taken care of. Also, no construction issues at all — simple issues with some weather stripping and normal new build Sheetrock settling symptoms that were even mentioned in the contract. We couldn’t be happier with our home, Smith Douglas, and the contractors.

ORIGINAL REVIEW AFTER CLOSING:
My wife and I are more than satisfied with our Smith Douglas Home at Crowne Creek Village. I was weary about purchasing a new construction when we started the process, but I have full confidence in the quality of construction of our home. The best part is the exceptional value — I am blown away at the size, feel, and flow of the home for its price point. Massive closet in the primary bedroom, great kitchen and open floor downstairs. Anything we needed throughout the process, Breanne (sales) and Jake (construction) were quick to help! They’ve continued to deliver even after closing. The HOA is super reasonable and easy to work with as well. I can’t recommend this builder and neighborhood enough!
