I was a little taken back by their AI line when calling in for the 1st time to schedule a service a couple weeks ago and hing up and called another outfit (BIG mistake) but a neighbor told me how most people in our condo community use Hoffman so I called again about another issie I was having. As a new home owner here I am finding things here and there that are in need of service. So this afternoon Ryan Foehringer came over to service my gas oven. Upon testing it and inspecting it he found the issue...and the issue was I had the warming drawer under the oven stacked w/metal pans causing the igniter to ground and shut off leaving me with an oven that would not heat up because it kept shutting off. Silly me, my fault! Many other companies would have just serviced it unnecessarily for hundreds of dollars AND then told me not to put metal pans in the warming drawer but he was a straightshooter. He told me about all the other services Hoffman provides which was great because when I told him about my hot water heater that is going out, an electrical panel that I need to update, a few extra outlets to install and my Jacuzzi tub jets are spraying water all over the place no matter how I adjust them. With all the things I need done he showed me their monthly membership plan...lemme tell ya...that plan alone is far superior to me than any home warranties I have had in the past and researched here lately and here's why:
#1 free seasonal hvac maintenance-great for approaching ac and heating seasons, free monthly filters, massive discounts on service calls, repairs, equipment and so forth. #2 every home warranty I researched has ridiculous deductibles, takes forever to get a service call placed, multiple service calls to fix one issue, and miniscule discounts leaving the actual warranties with NO ROI...with Hoffmans monthly plan just the hvac and filters alone pay for the plan and on top of that I get way cheap service call fees...from what I have been paying over the last few years Hoffman fees are nearly half as less with the membership and about 25% less even wo/a membership. #4 They have been in StL for years...and #5 i heard they offer programs to people looking to get into the trades career and that is admirable to invest in the local community to grow people and business. They are honest, reliable, affordable AND they are giving back to the community by training people to be in the trades. Thank you, Ryan Froehringer and thank you Hoffman Brothers! Happy holidays!!!

DJ Akers was OUTSTANDING, Professional and a pleasure to work with. He kept me informed regarding the delivery of my wall oven, called ahead and arrived as planned. The unit looks great and y WiFE is pleased 👍🏾

Booking process was a little back and forth on communication. Team had to reschedule our installation after arriving for the first appointment because the installation details weren’t fully relayed. Installation was smooth field professionals were knowledgeable, timely and professional.

I had a clogged main drain and was very pleased that Hoffmann was able to come out so quickly after I called. Nick was extremely professional and very refreshing to see that type of work ethic. When finished he went the extra mile in cleaning everything up, also gave me some tips about my plumbing in case things go wrong.
It was determined I had a root ball in my line and Zach Ulmer came out and got it removed though it was being difficult and Zack and Issac persevered to clear the drain. Excellent service and much appreciated!

This was my first time using Hoffman Brothers. Our dishwasher door broke and was not under warranty. It was very easy to schedule an appointment for the initial evaluation of the repair needed and Justin B., our technician, was great. He was friendly, professional, and explained everything very clearly. He also returned to do the repair itself and our experience was fantastic. Repair was done as expected and everything in the repair area was returned to its initial condition, if not better and cleaner! We will call Hoffman again for any other appliance repairs.

Joseph was the most pleasant and personable home service support we have ever had. He was wonderful and knowledgeable he paused periodically to show what he was doing next and why. He had great back up support from a senior person to confirm his thought once and I’m glad they. Are comfortable collaborating . It was a new experience in home services. Outstanding. Would welcome him back anytime. The kids enjoyed listening to him too.

Scheduled an appointment quickly for a plumbing issue and received a reminder 24 hours before. Cody showed up and investigated the issue and provided a few solutions. He was very professional and provided a quote. He was even able to get the job completed same day. He was conversational and polite as well, he happily met my fur babies. Highly recommend!

We had Louis A.out to service our dishwasher and the whole experience was great. We are members of Hoffman’s Home Protection Plan and I was able to get a next day appointment (and scheduled online within 2 minutes). Louis was so nice, knowledgeable and efficient! Very grateful to have had him out and fix our dishwasher, I’ll definitely request him by name in the future! Thanks Louie!

Zach our technician came out to fix a backed up pipe in our basement. He was very professional and timely. I also appreciated that he didn't make a mess as previous services had done. This is the second time I've hired this company (last time for cleaning HVAC ducts). Highly recommend.

Everyone at this company are friendly and efficient. I have used them for various jobs over the years and have always been pleased with the scheduling and work that was done. The technicians are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. What I like most is that they are honest and will try to save you money if possible.

Joe did an Excellent job today accomplishing the electrical work that we needed done. There was inside work and outside work and Joe managed it well considering the weather. Joe had Help from Dominic. both of them did an excellent job. They worked in a safe and timely manner and thoroughly and they’re friendly and just nice guys.. Thanks a lot guys

This was my first time working with HB and it was really a great experience. Dakota showed up on time and walked me through everything he was doing and gave me options on how he could fix the problems. He had a lot of dryer lint to clean out and even showed me what had been building up on the heating element inside the dryer. He was courteous and cleaned up after the job. I have since recommended HB to several people after my excellent experience. Great job to Dakota and team!

I recently had Hoffmann Brothers repair faulty switches on my new Café microwave, and the service was excellent. Technician Dakota arrived on time, was fully prepared, and acted professionally throughout the visit. He kept me informed every step of the way, explained the issue clearly, and completed the work quickly with high-quality results. I’m very satisfied with the experience and will gladly recommend Hoffmann Brothers—and Dakota—to friends and family.

I originally had a technician come out to service my furnace for winter, and he discovered several issues with my furnace and AC unit. The builder didn't install it properly 16 yrs ago, so it was decided a replacement unit would make the most sense. I decided to replace everything (furnace, A/C, and water heater). They had a project manager out the same day to give me a quote, and the crew came out the very next day to install everything! Everyone I encountered was professional and did an amazing job! Now I have a more efficient unit and look forward to saving money on utilities!

My experience with both Andrew Salvador and Ian Moore with Hoffmann Brothers was one of the very BEST experiences I have ever had with contractors in any home I've ever owned and I've owned 4 homes! Andrew went way above and beyond what I expected from a plumber. He was also super friendly, informative and courteous! If I ever have another plumbing issue, I will definitely be calling Hoffmann Brothers and requesting Andrew! He cleaned up a mess after an awful sewage backup that even my restoration company said, "Plumbers don't usually do all the cleanup. He made their job easier!" Ian Moore was equally friendly and informative. Again, both Andrew and Ian were fantastic, and I would recommend them to any and all friends, family, and neighbors. Thank you for doing such an amazing job!!! And the price for the work they did was awesome! Can't believe the price they gave me for the work they did! $95 for a backup clearing and a camera inspection of the sewer line. WOW!

I enjoyed a day Chris, Kolyn, and Kevin. They were professional, courteous, and congenial. We chatted as they worked. They arrived on time and finished before promised. I’m assured with this major purchase (HVAC & water heater) because they put me at ease, encountered no trouble in my 100+ yo home, and ensured everything was working as expected before they left. They cleaned up all the refuse and made sure to protect my floors with mats before they started. I have no hesitation to recommend Hoffmann Brothers.

Brenden did an excellent job diagnosing my plumbing issue. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and quickly identified the problem. He communicated clearly throughout the entire process, explaining what was going on and what needed to be done in a way that was easy to understand.

Expertly fixed my A/C issues in 35 minutes.

My technician was so friendly and he explained everything completely for me to understand what was going on and what needed to be done. I received updates and courtesy calls as to when they were on the way. I recommend them for heating services.

Our unit was fixed by Rodrigues. He was extremely thorough and explained everything he was doing very well and provided many helpful pointers in maintaining a clean, efficient system. Also, he evaluated each system to determine how efficiently it was operating since it is ten years old.Not only that, but he was very friendly and personable!

Paul arrived in a timely manner and was able to diagnose the issue we were having with our AC. He was very professional and well informed about his work. He did a marvelous job and we recommend him more!!
