An absolute circus. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. My experience included replacement of the wrong part, a 12 day wait time for obtaining the correct part, rude dispatch, no show for appointment, and an uninformed answering service. At no point was my long awaited repair prioritized. Dispatch blamed the technician, the technician blamed dispatch. My repair was finally completed 20 days after my request for service (in all fairness it could have been done on day 19 if not for my work schedule). The only reason I’m giving a star is because the technician seemed intent on apologizing.
I will NEVER solicit this company again.
*After posting this review I was contacted by management. They demonstrated empathy while listening to my account of events. They appeared genuinely committed to enhancing customer service and I am satisfied with the resolution provided.

Christian did a great job and explained what was going on with my heating system in a way that was easy to understand. He then helped me make an appointment to get the immediate issues fixed.

Edit to add: Christian came back and fixed our ductwork and helped me figure out the source of the issue to prevent future damage. Ricki from the office was helpful with answering some pricing questions for future work and getting what I needed in a timely manner.

The engineer had been here before. It’s good to see someone familiar with our hvac system. He gave great advice. He noted the age of our water heater and gave recommendations about that. He serviced the furnace quickly and was professional and friendly the whole visit.

We woke up to no hot water on a Saturday morning and Shane was on call. Shane was an HVAC tech but came out to diagnose the problem and drained our tank so the plumber could hit the ground running 1st thing Monday morning. Tim Man had just recently installed an entirely new HVAC system for us and we couldn’t be more pleased with anyone we’ve had contact with at Tinman from reception to scheduling to repairmen and installers. Great crew all around dedicated to giving you excellent service. Highly recommended

Christian was very personable!! Unfortunately our ductwork has collapsed under our home and is why we are not getting hardly any heat. He answered all our questions and provided pictures so we could see what is going on. Would highly recommend Tin Man and Christian!!

The tech came to my house and was very friendly. I asked for estimates for a boiler for immediate fixes and the entire replacement. The estimate was 22,000 higher than the company I ended up using. The tech turned off the water to my boiler and that finished off the boiler. I was not able to only do repairs and had to replace the entire system. This is a scam company who will try to over charge you and then break your things so you buy theirs. I would not recommend them to even someone I didn't like.

I would like to say how much we appreciate Corey from Tin Man. Helped out our 85yr old mother in a big way, by replacing frozen toilet pipe. Not only was he helpful, also very knowledgeable with his work and such a kind man. We couldn't have asked for a better plumber. Thank you Corey. ☺️ we will be definitely calling again.

We just had our furnace go out during sub-zero temperatures outside.

Christian at Tin Man arrived after a few days of waiting for the necessary part for the repair & he was able to get our furnace up & running in less than 20 minutes.

He also informed us that our furnace was under warranty so there was no cost for the repair out of pocket!

We highly recommend Tin Man.

We have had Tin Man for quite some time. Each time we have had great service. Today we had Hunter. Excellent!!! Very respectful, pleasant, explained what he was doing very clearly and fixed (which was minor by the way). We have never had an issue getting someone here when we needed someone. Highly recommend.

I had an outside spigot pipe burst. It was admittedly old and piping was copper. With the low temps caused it to freeze and burst. I contacted other plumbers in my city none were available even though this emergency caused me needing a curb stop so no water to my house was available. Tin Man got back to me within hours of me submitting an online estimate request. That same day just hours later of me filling out my requested time and day had a response letting me know that they would be available with a confirmation text and email of available time frame and day planned. I had to have a curb stop from the city as the burst/spray wasn't stopping after I stopped my water main. I had a guess on what happened but wasn't sure extent of the issue. Their tech Korey was prompt with getting here after I got an alert he was on his way. He asked to the best of my ability what I observed of the issue before the water was turned off. Inspected everything himself let me know the estimate once he got my okay got right to work. Even with him running to get the parts needed he got the repair done quick within hours. I didn't have my water turned off for even 2 full days and he got the repair done quick and was very respectful when speaking to me and also to my property. This quick repair also helped to prevent water damage as it was leaking into my basement creating a puddle. He made sure I understood what was happening and explained the parts he was putting in and what they would do to help prevent the issue in the future. I was very pleased with the cost as it was very reasonable for the damage the burst caused including to my basement. The speed of the fix was great being as how the cold weather isn't done yet and could have been much worse if i had to wait longer. Thank you so much!

Fred is very outstanding.He came right on time, inspected the furnace, changed the filter and completed the full service check within the expected time.He was very professional and respectful.He was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with.I would definitely recommend them.

Fred called when on his way to my home, presented a professional attitude on arrival and listened to my problem before doing his investigation. I ask a lot of questions, which I'm sure annoys some workers. Not only did Fred answer all my questions, but he explained the reasoning and details of his answers. I feel he correctly fixed my AC's problem and also checked for any other possible problems. I am more than satisfied with his work and attitude. If I need any future help I will definitely ask for Fred.

Garden Heating and Cooling guys installed a new furnace in my house today. They arrived on time and I barely knew they were in my basement. I highly recommend them. Very professional!

I had a 10 am appointment and they called and asked if they could come earlier since someone else canceled, They came and left by 9.30. I wanted an earlier appointment, but they had it booked already, so now I have the rest of the day to do other things. Awesome technician was just what you would expect to take care of maintenance and explain anything I needed to ask.

Technician fixed problem with bad capacitor that was keeping condenser fan from running, hosed out condenser coils, and explained what he was doing and why he was doing it while he worked. In addition, he fixed the broken lock nut on conduit to unit. Highly recommended.

The technicians who came to install the new heating system were very friendly and professional. They were done earlier than expected and explained everything and answered all the questions I had. It was a great experience and I was very impressed. I would definitely recommend them.

I had an issue with my system and called them, they have a very good reputation. They got me scheduled right away. Arrived on time, diagnosed the issue and fixed it quickly and for a fair price. My tech was on time, communicated well, was neat, diagnosed the issue and resolved it efficiently. I would definitely use them again!

Garden Heating and Cooling was very professional and thorough. They appeared very knowledgeable and took his time to educate us on maintenance of the HVAC system, a lot of which was not explained by the builders. I highly recommend this company.

Fred in my opinion, is one of the best servicemen that Garden Heating and Cooling has. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly & courteous, listens to me, explains the details of what he is checking, and always does a thorough job. Today he did the annual check on my A/C system. I called from my freezing cold home. The Tech was polite and expedient in getting to the supervisor He assured me that help was on the way. He called and assured me he was 20 minutes away. Within minutes, my steam boiler was whistling and warming up. He was personable and knowledgeable and worthy of the best write up I could give. Thanks to the entire team for warming up our home on a very cold night!

The results I got from the job they did for me is what has made me write a review for the same. They did an amazing job and I do recommend their work. Barely two months when I had them install an A/C at my place of business. They arrived on time after I called their offices, came into the premises and did the installation. They also took me through the entire process, explaining to me what they were doing, the function of each part and showed me how carefully I should operate it. Try them, you’ll not be disappointed.
