Great to work with. Their staff on the phone was incredibly helpful and reassuring while I was panicking when our heat went out in the middle of a big cold snap. They very clearly laid out expectations and what they could do and followed through exactly. The staff that came to our home were respectful and clearly explained what they were doing and why. Pricing was less than I expected for the amount of work they did in testing and diagnosing the hvac, as well as two gas fireplaces.

Had this company come out to investigate a problem with my heat pump. The technician Charlie suggested full replacement - fair enough since the unit was 21 years old. They sent a quote using their online quote system - you follow a link to a web page. He quoted their most efficient and expensive system possible. When I tried to talk about eliminating one of the options listed, the owner (Jerry) gave me the hard sell about why it was important to keep it, and never backed down. I decided to think about it.

A few days later, I went back to teview the quote and he had raised the pricing by $3,000! Did he think I would not notice? I decided to go with another company.

A few weeks after that, Jerry called me up to offer me a "loyal customer discount". I started telling him how I noticed that he had jacked up the price by $3,000 when I wasn't looking and he hung up on me!
SO GLAD I DID NOT USE HIM.

Emergency service was very responsive and quick. Some of my neighbors used All Air, so decided to call them with my cooling issue. After my regular HVAC company dismissed my emergency. All Air came next weekend day, accessed the situation, explained and fix the problem, same day. Technician was knowledgeable, professional and courteous.

I’m a first time home owner and I got a 1971 modular. I noticed that half of my vents weren’t blowing any air and my system couldn’t keep up with even a 1000 square foot space. I called the company to take a look at everything and I’m so glad I did. Turn out I was heating my crawl space! My little unit wasn’t doing half the job it’s meant to do. With returns and new ductwork added my home feels fantastic!! The gentleman that came to my home were super helpful and polite. Charlie was kind and took the time to explain everything to me so I could understand it. Austin and Toby kept their work spaced very tidy and communicated with me every step of the way. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome and I highly recommend this company! They offer so much more than just HVAC and I’m excited to keep working with them to improve my home!

Our AC started to make this buzzing sound and as more time passed it got louder and louder. Super annoying... So I called an AC repairman. He fixed it...but only temporary. I got pretty angry but I gave it another shot. I called Vermont Heating & Vent and David was very polite. He came the very same day and fixed the AC pretty darn fast actually. Two months later I'm writing this review and my AC is still silent. Finally an AC repair that will last... Thanks!

A real wonder they are still in business given the way they operate on a day to day basis.

We contracted VHV for 3 hydronic water heaters and 2 separate hot water zones.

Haven’t used this company personally!. But when driving the speed limit through Wolcott VT one of the trucks (Truck 101) didn’t stop slow down or even look as if drive from one side of the parking lot & out on to the road! Had I not of slammed on my breaks I would of been hit by this truck as the driver didn’t have any intentions on looking to see if anyone was coming the opposite way he was facing & he didn’t slow down he pulled out of the parking lot & unlike others that pull out of parking lot or side street this truck being it was already going at least 10mph & I had to speed up to at least 60mph just to catch up & get the business name off the truck!..
This is the truck that felt he had the right to just pull out without stopping or even looking for other drivers!..
So maybe have the drivers be more cautious & pay attention to their surroundings while driving!

What a great find! Joe installed 3 single zone heat pumps in our home. He did an excellent job at a very fair price. Joe is very knowledgeable and a super nice guy too. Our NTI Boiler failed to ignite and when the service company we had used to perform the annual maintenance attempted to fix it they were clueless. After 2 different technicians made 3 trips, spent more than 8 hours and replaced the igniter and flame sensor their solution was to replace the boiler. Luckily, I found Maheux Heating and Refrigeration. When I told Joe Maheux what I had gone through, he said he would come by that day and that he was sure he could fix it. He showed up as promised, diagnosed the problem in about 10 minutes, had the needed part in his truck and had the boiler humming in less than an hour! And, at a fraction of what I was charged by the incompetent company that wanted to sell me a whole new system. For expert professional service done for a fair price and with great integrity I wholeheartedly recommend Maheux Heating and Refrigeration.

I am so glad we chose Hunter to install our mini-splits. He kept in touch through the whole process and promptly answered all my emails. The installation went smoothly despite the cold and wind. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. I'm confident that he'll stand behind his work. I could not be more pleased and highly recommend him.

I contacted Hunter for an estimate on replacing my boiler system. I work weird hours but he was willing to stop over on a Saturday to look things over so he could create an estimate. He sent me the estimate within 2 days and it was very reasonable. After looking at other reviews I decided to hire Hunter to do the job. He was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I will be hiring him to do the basic cleanings of the boiler and any other projects that come up. Extremely satisfied with the work. Thank you Hunter.
