I can’t say enough good things about Colonial Plumbing & Heating. Their team showed remarkable patience and professionalism while completing plumbing repairs for my elderly mom. They arrived exactly when promised, carefully inspected the issues, and clearly explained the scope of work and aligned on costs before getting started.

What impressed me most was their willingness to go the extra mile — they extended their visit to investigate a frozen outdoor faucet and provided a thoughtful evaluation for replacement. When the job was done, the space was left clean, tidy, and completely dry. Their workmanship and courtesy were exceptional.

This company truly exceeded all expectations.

Called for an estimate to install an A/C unit and was booked an appointment the same week. Will arrived and reviewed all options with us, including upgrading our furnance/oil tank to a heat pump. He showed us all the rebates that were available, and was very thoughtful in his recommendations. Highly recommend Georges Heating!

Georges Heating and Cooling was incredible to work with. I started out getting in touch via email and Tina was very kind, responsive, and helpful! She also told me about their maintenance program and talked me through the process, which I greatly appreciated! I signed up immediately.

We originally had the team out to see if the AC system that came along with our house purchase could be serviced. When I told them they system was totally down, they got out here quickly. We knew the system was very old, so we were prepared to replace it. Blaine walked me through everything and we decided to just go ahead and replace it rather than trying to keep the old system running for maybe another season. Lance came out the very next day to talk us through our options and recommended a great new system. That following Monday, the team was here to work on the installation!

During all of this, I was working from home due to COVID, and the team was so respectful of noise levels and made sure to wave if they needed me if I was on a meeting so I could shut off my video and sound for a minute.

All around, everyone that we worked with during this process was super friendly, professional, and helpful. We greatly appreciate how quick they were as well as it was a VERY hot week in New Hampshire when our system was down. I look forward to working with Georges Heating and Cooling in the future for the maintenance program and if any other needs pop up.

They replaced my ancient furnace that wouldn't turn on. They were communicative, kind, and did an excellent job! Will absolutely be using them in the future.

Unhappy customer. August 2025 we had our fall maintenance done on our heat pump and our oil furnace ( expensive) bill. Friday October 10 oil furnace and heat pump not working and George’s is unable to get a technician out to look at our system today or Saturday. Fortunately we were able to get another company to get us working!

Fantastic, fantastic company. They were able to help me when I was in need. They came right out, and were able to install the furnace right away. They also provided a senior discount as I was on a limited budget. When they showed up to do the installation they wore shoe covers, laid out drop cloths, vacuumed, and took all the trash and the existing furnace away with them at the end of the day. I would highly recommend this company.

We recently had a 4-zone Mitsubishi Hyper Heat mini-split system installed by Georges Heating and Cooling, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From the initial consultation with "Will" to the final installation, the entire process was professional and seamless.
The team was knowledgeable, punctual, and took great care in their work. They explained how the system works, walked us through the controls, and made sure everything was operating perfectly before they left. The installation was clean, and they left our home in excellent condition.
Our 36,000 BTU system with 4 zones is performing beautifully - each room has its own climate control, and the Mitsubishi Hyper Heat technology is impressively efficient. We're already noticing the comfort and energy savings.

Quentin went above and beyond and spent hours thoroughly examining my furnace to find a tricky issue. Afterwards, he explained it in detail to me so I knew what to watch for, and didn't try to replace anything that didn't need to be replaced. He also showed up the day I called to address my issue. Service has been great with GSMS

Jack is an incredible technician. Very personable, professional, efficient and informative. Furnace stopped working during a major snowstorm and 7 degree weather and he got us back up in no time. I've been with GSMS for many years and highly recommend them.

This was our first experience with GSMS and our service tech Quentin was a cut above what we’ve been used to. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and totally focused on satisfying our needs. It’s a comfort to know we have this level of service available to us when needed.

Initial experience has been great! Phone conversation with the office was very responsive and worked to troubleshoot before sending a technician out. The technician that came today was knowledgable, polite and efficient. So far, could not be happier!

I am consistently satisfied with GSMS and their work. They may not always be the least expensive, but I feel like I have certainly gotten what I have paid for, and that it has been a fair price. Everyone who has come out to service or install has been fantastic. When I have asked for advice I feel it has been provided honestly, rather than just trying to make a quick buck. Personable, knowledgeable, and efficient. I could not be happier with their service.

Qwentin was courteous, personable, and knowledgeable. Originally in for Mini-Split maintenance and to do an inspection on our heater that is original to the home, that has been having some problems.
After describing some issues we were having with the heater and taking a brief look, he had a good idea of what was likely wrong. And after the full diagnosis, he confirmed what was going on.

Working as a renovation contractor for over two decades I dealt with many subcontractors over the years. I am happy to share that GSMS went above and beyond on a recent heating system install for me. They were very understanding of my current living situation, accommodating on every level and very professional. I highly recommend them.

We worked with Granite State Mechanical Services during our kitchen remodel to install a make-up air system for a new stove and hood. After getting five different quotes and hearing several approaches, we chose their team — and we’re so glad we did.

The entire team is professional, communicative, fairly priced, and does excellent work. This project ended up being much larger than we originally expected, but they guided us through every step, kept us informed, and made the process incredibly smooth.
