Karen and her husband are lovely people, super friendly and professional. Last year I had them out to give me an estimate on replacing my air conditioner. It was from 1986 and all the other places that came to give me quotes would no longer service the unit they just wanted to sell me a new one. Her husband came out and wrote down the information for a quote then asked if he would like me to see if he could get the unit running. Said if he didn't get it running, then there would be no charge and if the fix did work but broke again by end of summer he would take the cost of repairs off a new install. This was a great option for me as a single home owner I didn't have the funds to replace it at the time. He put a jumper on and a bit of freon in and it fired right up and got cold inside no time. It's been a year and this year I had enough saved up to replace the unit so he again came out and gave me a quote and even remembered me and my house from the year prior. Even in a wheelchair from a car accident he is still coming out to give quotes to help his guys out. That is dedication to your businesses and workers! They are coming today to put my new unit in. When I get home from my vacation in a few days I will have a brand new air conditioner, and it was 1000.00 less than anywhere else in the area. Highly recommended Berlin Heating and Cooling.

Called and told John our A/C stopped working Thursday night during this lovely heat wave and one squirrel and a chipmunk later...he had our A/C up and running!!! John's the bomb!!!

My call was answered by the most rude and unpleasant person I have come across all year. Maybe he was just having a bad day but save yourself the misery and call someone else.

Within 2 hours of me calling that my water heater was leaking out 2 guys were here putting in a new one! They were very nice and made quick work of exchanging them! Highly recommend

This place is absolutely awesome. They're honest and they work with you. We had an issue with our water heater and they came out the day that I called and in a timely manner as well. The workers were super polite too

Always have had excellent and friendly service from these folks. We have never had any concern with their people in our homes, or the repairs / inspections they’ve done for us . Very satisfied.

If I had to look for anything critical, it would be that sometimes they’re so busy it may be difficult to get them to come out for some smaller jobs. However, last I heard - a busy business gets that way because of great service reputation. We highly recommend them.

Very friendly staff. Bought our furnace, and within 2 weeks, it was installed. Professional and helpful. Answered all my questions and concerns. Very affordable as well. Highly recommended!

Beware of Maribel Heating and Plumbing

Last Thursday, 08/07/2025, Maribel Heating and Plumbing came to my 74-year-old mother’s home in Manitowoc, WI to repair a leaky bathtub faucet. Unfortunately, their visit caused far more harm than good.

The owner’s son handled the repair and used paper towels to clean up water during the job—then flushed those towels down my mother’s toilet. As a result, the toilet is now clogged and no longer drains properly. We know paper towels are the issue because he also left wet paper towels behind in the bathroom trash can.

Before this, all drains were working perfectly—we had just had them professionally cleared by Roto-Rooter, who specifically advised us to use only fast-dissolving toilet paper.

When we called to report the problem, the owner refused to take responsibility. The owner’s son returned that evening to try and fix what he caused, but failed. He then told my mother to hire another company and pay for it herself. When she reasonably said she would deduct that cost from the bill, he abruptly left and threatened to send her to collections. My mother was home alone during all of this and became so upset she experienced chest pains.

After I posted this review, the second owner came to my mother’s house in person. He promised to fix the problem, asked my mother to have me take down my review, and said he would call her and come out to repair the issue today, Monday 08/11/2025. I took the review down in good faith. He never called, never showed up, and my mother has been unable to use her toilet for days because of what their company caused.

The toilet was working fine before Maribel Heating and Plumbing got involved. This experience has been stressful, costly, and unacceptable. I strongly caution others to think twice before using this company.

Had our new furnace in less than 48 hours. Fast and friendly service. They ordered a new furnace for us the same day we called for help, had a tech out the next after noon to remove old furnace and had the new furnace in, in less than two hours the next morning. Friendly and polite employees, always on time when ever we have called them for service.

Bob's is the best! Fast, efficient and priced right. Excellent work.

We’ve had Bob’s do plumbing. And heating. And AC. And fix LP plumbing someone else did. Prompt, done right, clean. In and out! Good folks.

I would give zero stars if I could. Bob's installed all the plumbing in my home and in the past five years both hose bibs burst (even though they were properly shut off and winterized) . A valve used in the main bath burst and also caused water in my lower level.

I called this morning, after realizing my a/c was inop. Before I was done at the fitness center, Bob's had been out to the house, fixed the problem and left me a message on what was done. Fantastically prompt and professional service.

Ask for help in early August to install a boiler and the secretary was fairly rude about calling so late in the year and expecting help by winter. I asked that she have someone call me back and she said she'll try. I never received a call back.

Im not sure how the rest of the business works buts her customer service was horrible.

I could not have gotten better service. As the repair man was putting in a new vent a pipe on the pressure tank broke, no fault of his. He had a new pressure tank and pipe in by end of day. The service man was very patient and pleasant. I recommend Bob's Plumbing, there was a challenge and it was met with no grievance from them. They got the job done.

Bob's Plumbing and heating has done a lot of work for me. They have always done quality work at a reasonable price. I can trust them in my house when I am not there. They have also been able to get to me quickly when I have urgent issues. Thank you for your excellent service.

They said they don't do floor drains isn't that plumbing

ARRIVED AT THE CABIN YESTERDAY ONLY TO FIND THAT WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY HEAT. CALLED DAMA HTG & PLMB THIS A.M. AND TALKED TO A VERY PLEASANT OFFICE MANAGER. SHE ADVISED THEY WERE VERY BUSY BUT WOULD TRY TO WORK US IN LATE THIS AFTERNOON, IF NOT NEXT WEEK AFTER MEMORIAL DAY. SHE TOOK MY NUMBER AND WOULD CALL ME BACK. HEARD THIS LINE BEFORE?? SHE CALLED AND ADVISED THEY HAD A TECH NEAR LAKEWOOD ON ANOTHER CALL AND HE WOULD BE HERE IN A COUPLE OF HOURS. SCOTT SHOWED UP IN LESS THAN HOUR, DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AND REPAIRED THE FURNACE. WE HAD HEAT!!! THANK YOU SCOTT AND GOD BLESS!

We had a faucet replaced. While doing that our washer drained and backed up into our sink, a recurring problem that we could not seem to fix. Scott diagnosed the problem... a weird configuration of pipes underneath the kitchen sink. It was a lot of extra work for him and expense for me but after 12 years of the fight between kitchen sink and washer... THERE IS NO MORE WASHER BACKING UP INTO THE KITCHEN SINK!!!
