We live an hour from town. Our AC units condenser is going out. We called & made an appointment for them to come change it. They drove to our farm. Turned it on & off “several” times and left without changing the part. Sent a bill for over $250 and never even called after the visit.
Won’t be using them again or recommending them to others.

They installed our AC and heating less than 5 years ago. We’ve been having issues with the AC not being able to keep the house cool. One of the guys came and looked at the AC and couldn’t really figure out what the problem is. He said he was going to talk to the boss and get back to me. He never contacted me so I called. I told the receptionist what was going on and that someone needs to follow up with me. It’s been almost 2 months and still no response.
They don’t take care of their customers!

These guys were great, they cleaned our pellet stove and chimney even with snow on the roof and then a few days later my blow fuse went out and they came back the next day and replaced that too.

The workers are very knowledgeable, polite and nice. They took their shoes off every time before coming into our house and answered all of our questions.

We heard about their business through a friend who also highly recommended them.

Our AC seemed to have quit on us shortly before a very hot weekend and no one could get us in. A-1 got someone here the same day. Scott did an EXCELLENT job. Not only did he find and fix the issue, he also helped hook up a thermostat that we’ve been wanting to change out for a very long time. He did great work and was very communicative, explained everything as he was doing it, I can’t recommend him or this company enough. Thank you Scott and A-1!

This company is so amazing and there technicians and installation and installers are amazing. I highly recommend this company to anyone. Had our unit replaced with them a few years back after repair. Our ac stopped working right two days ago, and it was hotter inside then out. We out in for a service request and we’re back up with cool air before 11 am on Monday :) always professional, always kind, and a great price!

My husband and I called for a furnace that was not working. Eric came so quickly and thinking it was the circuit board but upon further checking found the heat exchanger was cracked so we would have needed to replace it. Since our furnace was 14 years old and we had trouble last winter we decided to replace the furnace. Eric and Aleck came and installed the new furnace and did such a great job seamlessly and efficiently. They were so helpful and friendly. Great Guys. I would recommend A-1 and Eric and Aleck very highly. They went out of their way for us above and beyond.

Walked in and all washers (that worked) were full of laundry. Dryers were the same. Piles of laundry were laying all over. What a dump. We left.

The owner was punctual and professional. His price was the best around, and he guaranteed his work.

Wow! K&D has a new owner for the last two years, and he's a professional. Apparently Dana has purchased the business and is starting anew. I'd use K&D in the past, and was okay with their business, but they needed some assistance. Their shop was a working shop, and not anything to write home about. However, they were helpful and I appreciated their products and guidance. So after not hearing back from Bismarck's companies, I decided to see if K&D was still in business

Well, A NEW OWNER answered the phone.

A HUGE thank you to Dana (owner) and K&D services for installing our new Amana furnace. We were extremely pleased with Dana's work and professionalism. We had contacted two other Bismarck services, who took our telephone number and said they would get back to us immediately; which they never did. Not only did Dana get back to me immediately, he came over, inspected the system and got us an estimate the next day. Although he could have fixed our old 1987 furnace, I told him we would just replace it. He followed through with contacting us immediately, installation and warranty registration. Within a couple of days we were up and running perfectly. It's nice to have a good hometown specialist in our area. I had never meet or heard of Dana before this, but trusted him to do our work, and am very glad we did. I will recommend him to other local people Here's a before and after of the new furnace.
