I had concerns with our chimney chase surround, especially after having roof replaced. English Sweep came by, assessed and gave recommendations. Easy to work with and explained everything well. Crew came by and did exact work explained and kept us informed throughout. They shared photos and went over the completed work. English Sweep was easy to work with, communicated well through out and did great work. Would recommend.

The company has been helpful in dealing with the aftermath from March's tornado that damaged my chimney. Contact with the home office and the crew with did my estimate and the repairs have been kind, and informative thru the process. Would recommend them for your chimney repairs or cleaning.

I bought my home five years ago and never had my double sided gas fireplace cleaned. The ceramic logs were charred black and we attempted to clean tem ourselves a few years ago. That was a huge unsuccessful mess.
I'm so glad I found English Sweep. When I called to set-up the appointment, all of my questions were answered along with service cost. I appreciated all of their communication!! Confirming my appointment along with a text reminder a few days prior. I received a call from Kyle, my technician, when he was on his way.
He was so professional, friendly and respectful. He did an amazing job not only cleaning my fireplace and logs, but took extreme measures to keep my home clean. He reviewed details of the job, offered a recommendation on replacing my old grate within the next few years, and answered all of my questions. I received a email detailed report including photos and a 19 point inspection recommended by the NFPA. Kyle used a chimscan camera/video to inspect the interior flue and climbed on the roof for an exterior inspection of the chimney and flashing. This was a wonderful experience. The logs cleaned up great and are perfectly places on the grate along with new substrate and glowing embers. I can't wait for cooler weather to fire it up 🔥

Called three time for am appointment and never had anyone return a call. They use a service who is to not notify the company. It’s unknown if the company ever gets the message.

Scheduled a chimney inspection. They gave a 12-3pm window to arrive. We called several times when did not arrive before 3pm and when they finally picked up they said it would be another hour before they would call back. When they finally arrived, his inspection consisted of shining a cell phone light up the chimney and saying it was very dirty and it would cost $699 to clean it. After calling other reputable chimney sweeps they all said this was laughable and we scheduled another sweep for $199. Very dishonest business practices here

I am honestly shocked by all of these 5-star reviews. Willis sent Chris to my house to clean my dryer vent a month ago because we weren't getting much airflow through our ductwork. We were quoted $79, I think, but when Chris got here and looked at our setup, he said it would be $199. No problem. He was here about half an hour, left without letting us know he was done, and after he was done, our ducts were no different than before he arrived (but of course, my credit card got billed the full $199). Since then we have called the company 4 different times to request they send someone back out. Every time, we receive the same response of "I'll have the technician call you" ... yet no one has ever called back. I understand that sometimes things don't work out on the first try, but when you call a company FOUR TIMES and no one will return your call, that lack of professionalism deserves to be called out. Save yourself the headaches and avoid this company at all costs.

A different company said my damper was "broken" and needed repair. They also said the chimney was so bad that it needed chemical treatment. Sweep it Honest showed me my damper was NOT in fact broken and that I just needed to push it harder to close it and also informed me he could clean it properly without chemicals and be ready to have a fire that evening. Great family owned business and I will use them again. 👍
