I called Russ's plumbing because of their 5 star reviews and was not disappointed. Had a sewer back up that needed rodding and within a few hours of my call, they were out and had the problem fixed for a reasonable price. Angela, the person who took my initial call was warm, welcoming and accommodating.
I would highly recommend and will definitely be using them again.

We needed to get a sewer ejector pump installed and contacted many companies but then I came across the reviews for Russ's plumbing and thought to give them a try. Heard back from Angela and the customer service was just too good to believe. Quick responses to my questions and gave me a reasonable quote via email. The company was flexible in adjusting the work involved (ex. we provide the pump). On the day of the work, Chuck came and finished the work very quickly (30 min 😊). Very little mess and he very professional. It was a great pleasure working with this company and will contact them again for any future work.

PS: Compared to all others contacted, Russ's was the best price.

Russ’s plumbing upgraded my 3/4” water main to 1” in one day. Their crew was friendly, competent, and organized. They placed plywood on the yard to protect it from equipment and dirt while completing the project. They also used a boring machine which minimized the repair work left for me to address afterward. They were very competitive and delivered on their schedule commitment. They work passed inspection with no concerns. I would recommend them for any residential water or sewer work you may have.

Why 5 stars? When the main line backed up and you couldn't use toilets or water at all, the first plumber I called wanted $5K without even trying to route the line. Just zero to $5K. Insane. And it was clear the guy had little idea what he was even doing. So I called Russ's. They routed the line quickly and we were up and running, for $330. To me that earns 5 stars. Honest, fair, great office and field support. Thanks Russ's Plumbing, you get the first call from now on.

My experience with Russ's was significantly better than prior companies I worked with. The job they did and their ability to adjust their schedule to fit me in were great, but it was their professionalism and transparency were my favorite qualities.

Their coordinator provided me a line by line breakout of their quote on the phone prior to service which provided a lot of comfort! The transparency and honesty made it feel like a family run business!

If there were more stars I would give them more. Unbelievably reliable and prompt. Our sewer drain backed up over night and first thing the next morning they text us and then called. Had someone over immediately as the day started. They knew exactly where to go and what the problem was. All done in under and hour. Professional and reliable. I will be using their services for now on and will always recommend them.

I recently contracted Russ's plumbing to replace my under slab sewer and waste lines and was pleased with their work. Mike was always prompt to reply to my inquires and most importantly stayed on our set schedule. Speaking with neighbors later on regarding my project, I was happy to hear most had used Russ's as well.

I am so happy that we found Russ and his team to complete a large project for us on our 100-year-old home. I have been working with Russ's Plumbing for 20 years. They are a family business and pleasure to work with ! Angela handles it all in the office and maneuvers appointments to fit you in and call aheads! Recently had them camera, clean out and reroute underground pvc for sump pump and gutters as they were backed up and overflowing . Very well priced !

Today John came for some smaller but necessary jobs of leaking pipes, faucets etc. He had parts available for our faucet and fixed all quickly. Peace of mind finally!

From reaching out to inquire about availability, through solving our plumbing issue (hydro jetting the cleanout to main sewer), they were great to work with.

Their prices were really fair and beat out most of the quotes I called for in the area. They were upfront about everything, so no surprises. I loved how easy they were to work with—really friendly and professional. They explained what needed to be done in a simple and genuine way, which I appreciated and got right to work!

Did an excellent job repairing/replacing my pipe from the foundation to the sewer access. Arrived on time, very neat and left the dug out area far nicer than I expected.

I will say this again and again, use Russ’ Plumbing! We have had issues with our plumbing and Russ’ has been nothing but amazing to us. They communicate with their customers. Understand their needs. And do their absolute best to accommodate. Not a lot of businesses do that anymore. Top notch.

I had underground corrugated PVC pipe that carried water from two downspouts and a sump pump to a dry well in my back yard and the pipe needed replacing. Russ's replaced the old pipe with 4" solid PVC pipe and installed additional pipe to route water from two other downspouts to the dry well too. Russ and his son Mike and their crew completed this large job in about ten hours and I am very satisfied with the quality of their work and my interactions with them. 25 years ago, I used Russ's to tie the sump pump discharge at my previous house into the storm sewer and they did an excellent job then as well. I would recommend Russ's without any hesitation!

The worked was completed quickly and within their quote! The crews were professional and very polite. They did a good job of cleaning up after the work was completed.

I had a leak in my lead service line that was bringing water into my basement. Lombard Public Works referred me to Russ’s and I’m glad they did, as they did a fantastic job replacing my lead with copper, updating my valves and sewer clean out. Russ and his crew/family are thorough, experienced, and the nicest folks you’ll meet. Angela in the office did a great job quickly coordinating all the paperwork, permits, and communication, and from estimate to completed job was only 3.5 days (with a day and a half permit wait). Definitely a great company to have on your side! I've worked with this company twice now, one the other day for a sanitary sewer cleanout and several years back for a new water line.

Both times were great experiences, and every one from Angela in the office to John and Kyle in the field have been awesome.

They're very resposive, confirmed their dates, called ahead, and arrived in the window we originally planned for. Even if they were late I would have understood, this is the type of work where they can run into unexpected conditions or situations.
