I have worked with Dave several times over the past couple years. He is always on time, stands behind his work and cleans up after himself. Most importantly, he is reliable and always comes in with the best price! I would recommend him to anyone.

Great and reliable service. Was able to come and fix my furnace motor within the same day of my initial call. Personable and funny guy. Well priced and extremely knowledgeable. Was a huge life safer to get my AC back up and running during hot humid weather. Will definitely call again for any future HVAC problems.

Called American Heating & Cooling and spoke to Dave on the phone about replacing a capacitor on my AC unit. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and up front with cost. I advised him what another company quoted me and immediately said i was getting over charged and would do it for 1/4 the cost. I called him late on Friday and he advised he would not be able to come out until Saturday; as it was not something i needed fixed immediately. He arrived today at the time he said he would, fixed the issue and i paid him. I would recommend American Heating & Cooling to anyone that wants your issue fixed right and at an honest cost. I will be using them again for any future problems. A++++ on service and cost!

What a great experience I had today (Sunday) with American Heating! He said he would be out within the hour and he showed about 20 minutes later, he was very professional, and gave me tips and suggestions on my heating unit. He showed and gave me the part that was the issue. Great pricing especially for the weekend I expected to really pay and that was not the case. I took his card and he will be the only one I call when i need Heating and AC services. Awesome experience!

We are newer to this area and needed someone to inspect / clean our furnace before winter set in. I did a Google search and found Dave at American Heating and Cooling. Dave answered my call right away and since he was in our area, he stopped by to take care of our needs straight away! Our furnace went out on a very cold Sunday afternoon. I was super worried and started looking for a local HVAC company. I saw American Heating and Cooling, and read the reviews on them, which were terrific. I called around 1 PM and Dave showed up few minutes later and solved the problem. I would definitely recommend Dave and his company as they are reliable, and reasonably priced.

We had an old furnace and air conditioner that another company told us needed to be replaced. We checked with a few companies to get quotes. Dave was the only one that wasn't just looking to sell as much as possible. When he checked the furnace he said that it still had years of use left in it and didn't need to be replace. He did recommend replacing the AC which we did. He was scheduled to come out and replace the AC unit, but it turned out to be one of the hottest days of the summer. The weather was going to break the next day, so he called the day before and asked if we might want to move the install date until the following day when it was going to be cooler, so we wouldn't have a nasty day without AC. It was great that he thought about our comfort. When he did the work it was done quickly and very professional. Great company to work with. I would highly recommend.

Our furnace igniter went out late in the evening on a very cold night. We called Dave at American Heating and Cooling Specialists and he set us up with an emergency appointment first thing the next morning. He arrived right on time and was able to fix our furnace quickly. He was very knowledgable and friendly! The price of the part and the labor (for an emergency appointment) was very reasonable!! I would highly recommend using this company. We will definitely be using them for our future heating and cooling needs! Thanks, Dave!!

The owner Dave is a man of his word, and extremely knowledgeable in his field. He provided top class service on our AC unit. Dave took the time to answer all my questions, and explain options for fixing our AC unit. I would use American Heating and Cooling Specialists again, and recommend to my friends.

Dave was a referral from a friend. He provided a free second opinion and the best price among 3 of A/C companies contacted. Also, I got a better/ potent condenser for less. Service was very fast, professional and clean. I totally recommend American Heating & Cooling services to anybody who needs.

My furnace stopped working on a Saturday night when it was negative degrees outside. I called up Dave, and he was there within 40 minutes. He solved the problem and was very professional. His price was very reasonable. He even came back the next day when my furnace was making a noise. He fixed it for free. I highly recommend using him as I will be in the future.

Nothing worse than buying a new house and having several extremely hot and humid days in a row and your air conditioning unit breaks down. Being new in the area, had no clue who to call or ask anyone for a reference. After googling and reading reviews, called AHCS and Dave answered my call. I was amazed that he said he could fit me in (same day) but it would have to be much later.. like after 6pm. I didn't care how late it was.. just needed air that same day - so was extremely thankful that he was able to provide that service.

When he was on his way, he gave me a call and arrived as scheduled. Dave arrived, though tired from working in the heat (I'm guessing) was professional and went straight to work. Got the air up and running in about 15 - 20 minutes. He even gave my unit a courtesy look-over and even offered some suggestions.

The price paid for parts and labor was fair and services was outstanding. His name and number is now in my phone for future needs for seasonal preparations. Can't go wrong - give them a call/try.

Great experience! My ac went out and I called and he was close by and came out within minutes. Tried to get me going to find I had a leak. Got me a great price on a new unit and installed really fast. I paid him day of completion. Where most would be done and gone he came back a couple days later to follow up and make sure it was working as it should. Looked over the whole unit in and out. I moved into a new house and called Dave to get a tuneup for my furnace to make sure everything was running smoothly. Dave first checked for gas leaks and immediately found a small leak due to a pipe not being seated correctly. He got it fixed and used a natural gas detector to verify the leak was gone. Dave was also able to do some preventative maintenance and replace a small hard to reach sensor that likely would not have made it through the winter. He had the part in his truck and replaced it on the spot. Dave provided great service and I'd highly recommend him to friends for all their HVAC needs.

I had a great experience with Dave at American Heating and Cooling. I called late at night when my AC stopped working. Dave answered, alleviated my concerns and came out the next morning. This was a 95 degree day. He was very honest, on time and gave excellent service. He even followed up a few days later to get me an air filter I needed. I highly recommend American and will use them in the future.

My central AC went out on a Sunday, and luckily I found Davids' phone number. He said he will get to my address in and hour but he got there in half and hour. David is very knowledgeable about what he is doing and it was a pleasure doing business and the price was really reasonable. Dave is the best! He installed a new Bryant furnace and ac for me. The price was great and the install was effortless. It is very apparent that Dave knows his stuff. What seperates Dave from the other guys is the level of personal attention he gives the customer. The service is outstanding and Dave is personable and funny. I had a great experience with Dave from American Heating and Cooling. I was overcharged by Airco in Bolingbrook and Dave took time out of his very busy day (this was in mid-August which is peak time for AC problems) to write me a quote for the same work at nearly $100 less than I was charged by Airco. In the end, I was able to get my money back and now use American for all my HVAC needs. I just called Dave again today and he is going to fix an issue that arose from Airco not properly fixing my unit. I highly recommend American Heating and cooling. Dave had no reason to go out of his way to do this for me since he was not going to be paid for work done. In the end, he gained a long term customer. Dave is a stand up guy!

Air conditioner went out on the absolute hottest day of the year with an even hotter forecast for the next day. I called Dave on a Thursday night and he showed up at 8:30 Friday morning and fixed the problem quickly. I have always been able to count on Dave. He is honest, professional and dependable. Others have told me in the past to replace the AC unit when it was not needed. I would not recommend anybody else for your HVAC needs!
