Excellent company as always to work with. They came right out and installed our new AC the next day. No pressure, fair price, superb service. I thought they would pressure us to get the furnace replaced as well but no worries. We can work on that one at a later time. Price was way below what I had expected to have to pay. Great company!!

Our a/c stopped working and we gave them a call to get an appointment during non-emergency regular hours. It's 4th of July, and they got back to us right away, got someone over to take a look and diagnosed our issue without any upsells or b.s.. Fixed our issue and we're back to being "cool" again. Highly recommend them for anything you need help with regarding your HVAC needs.

We bought furnace and a/c from home comfort less than 2 years ago. One cold winter night suddenly furnace wont stop and Mike from home comfort showed up our home at 1:30 am ! he diagnosed the issue and showed up morning again to take care of this. All these happened on Sunday , very happy to see them coming in cold winter night knowing we may be in trouble without heat. Deserves 5* review.

Had both furnace and AC replaced over a month ago. Everything is still running great. The guys were friendly and on time. Even though it was a difficult install in a closet. They finished in the expected timeframe and cleaned up well. The price was right where it should be for a major brand set.

Home Comfort Systems far exceeded my expectations. Over the past few months, they expertly replaced my furnace, central air conditioner, and water heater. The quality of components used along with their expert and knowledgeable technicians resulted in outstanding installations each time. Warranty couldn't be better. The value was excellent with most reasonable pricing. Steve and Christy are always a pleasure to deal with.

Always pleased with the quality of the technicians and the pricing, but they need to do a MUCH better job with tamping down on the schedule. The party line with them is that “the tech will be at your house anytime between 8-m am and 5 pm with a call 20 minutes prior.” Not good enough! Limit your service call spreads to 4 hours: between 8-noon or between 1-5. Nobody wants to forfeit their ENTIRE day waiting for an HVAC tech to do a 25-minute A/C tune up.

Additionally, the female operator needs to turn down her mic and soften her voice a little when interacting with clients over the telephone.

We recently moved into a new home and used Home Comfort to install 2 new a/c units. The owner Steve came to the house 2x to check on things and make sure it was going well. Both service techs that were here doing the work were extremely professional and did a great job. They took extra time after the job was done to go over everything with us and walk us through the changes. We will be using them going forward for our HVAC needs. I highly recommend them.

I chose Home Comfort Systems to replace my existing 23 year old HVAC system with a new American Standard system. I found Steve (the owner) extremely pleasant to work with and am very pleased with the new HVAC system and their professional installation. I'm also very happy with their warranty which is not tied to yearly service. I'd happily recommend these folks to anyone.

Mike from Home comfort saved the day and a lot of money for me.
I originally had 4 seasons come out to repair my furnace. Their Tech spent time looking. The diagnosis was a gas valve that needed replacement. They wanted $1400. I talked them down to a $1000.
Anyway I was lucky enough to come across mike , Mike did his diagnosis in about 10 minute. Turns out it was not that. I would of spent a lot of money and time.
Mike and Home comfort saved me atleast $1500 .
My furnace is old and when it goes, they will be my first call.
They earned my trust and future buisness.

From the initial visit with Steve to evaluate what type of central air conditioning system I needed I was impressed with the expertise and reputation of Home Comfort Systems. They were not the cheapest quote I received but the value of their service and their lack of trying to upsell me was impressive...that's why I chose them. The 2 technicians that installed my central air conditioner and furnace humidifier today were professional, knowledgeable and efficient. After the installation they showed me the features of the new equipment. I have lived in my home for almost 33 years and I have 2 furnaces and 2 central air conditioners. I have had several HVAC experiences with different companies and this by far was the BEST!! I'm grateful they were recommended by a neighbor.

2nd Opinion - Just Do it !
What an incredible company. We had a service contract with another company and had our furnace cleaned yesterday. It is a Trane 2 stage that is 9 years old. The other company told us it had cracks, carbon monoxide leaking and wanted to charge $3000 to replace the heat exchanger for just labor!
Insert Steve, owner of Home Comfort Systems, who came to the house within 12 hours of our call. Needless to say, there is normal wear and tear, but we certainly don't need a heat exchanger replaced.
We found Home Comfort on NextDoor and were so incredibly lucky to have found them. Just call them, Do it now! They have been in business since 1972 and have glowing reviews. Now I know why :-) Thank you Steve for your HONESTY, STRAIGHT TALK, and EDUCATION!

Best experience with a home utility repair. It was seamless. Steve came to look at the old furnace, gave me the different estimates (all significantly cheaper than a competitor quoted) and explained the benefits of each type. Installers were very professional and came during a snowstorm and got the job quickly. Definitely recommend going to Home Comfort Systems.

I scheduled an appointment for 1/19 cleaning/inspection. The tech arrived early afternoon and almost immediately started tearing my furnace apart and on the phone ordering parts. I told him I didn't want to spend a few hundred dollars on an electrical panel just to find out I need a new furnace I need to know what all the problems are before anything is ordered/replaced.he ignored me and continued to order the panel and tell me it would be $500.00. I told him I don't want any work performed until I know everything that is wrong. I asked if he saw any other problems? He said so far just the panel. Iasked if that is all he would need to replace to make my furnace work properly? He said he didn't know. I told him I had someone else check my furnace, they took pictures, told me what was wrong and gave me quotes. You are only supposed to inspect and clean not replace anything. He apologized and told me his boss didn't tell him that, he thought he was there to fix my furnace. He called his boss and his boss made a joke of something that made the tech laugh I didn't appreciate that. He said he would write up an invoice and put the furnace back together. I asked what the invoice was for he didn't do what I wanted. He called his boss back, they decided not to charge me which was the right thing to do however, I think at that point they should have rectified the situation and inspected my furnace as requested but they just left. My furnace never started up so I pulled the cover off to find the tech left one of the wires disconnected. I would not recommend home comfort systems to anyone. I understand that communication can be broken at times but the owner should have had the tech stay and check my furnace.

I woke up to a HOT 🔥 house on a very hot June day. I called thinking I might get some help before the weekend. Within 30 min of my call the technicians were here and my AC was fixed all under warranty. I was willing to pay the service call fee of 95 dollars...(very reasonable) but they declined. So it cost me nothing and the air was running again. It warms my heart to know that there are folks out there that still do run businesses the old fashioned way. Our family has purchased 5 furnaces and 3 AC units between our 3 houses in the last 30 years. Definitely the company to hire for all your HVAC needs.

I can't praise Steve and his crew enough! Steve came to make sure I got the HVAC system our home needed. There was no "up-selling", just educating me on options and letting me decide what we wanted. The installation crew was fantastic, answered all my questions and made sure I was happy with everything before they left. The minute we turned the heat on, there was a noticeable improvement with how well the heat was circulating in our home. So thankful we choose Home Comfort Systems to do the job!

I highly recommend using Home Comfort Systems for any furnace or ac needs. My furnace broke and I originally received a quote from TR Miller for around $12k. After some research, Home Comfort Systems stood out with good reviews. I spoke with Steve who was able to come out the next day for a quote that came to $4.5k for the EXACT same furnace TR Miller quoted. Delivery and installation went well. My overall experience was fantastic and I will be using Home Comfort Systems for all future furnace or ac needs as a friendly, reliable and affordable company.

If you need HVAC service/repair I HIGHLY recommend this company. This morning we woke up to a cold house (60) and cool air blowing out the vents. When Mike called me back he was patient and troubleshooted with me over the phone. He is a former teacher and excellent to work with. He told me exactly what to do and patiently waited for me to do it and report back what happened. Then he told me exactly what to do to FIX IT MYSELF! Yes, you read that right. He will only come out and charge for an in person visit if it’s truly needed. If it is something that the homeowner can safely do, he will give you the instructions on how to do it yourself! Now that is good service! You may wonder if that was a one time thing…it’s not. He has helped me on 3 different occasions to fix something over the phone so he didn’t have to come out and charge us for something we could do ourselves. Our extended family has used them for 25 + years and will happily recommend them over and over.

We were in need of a new HVAC system to replace our 35-yr old Carrier system. Got quotes from three other contractors before talking to Steve B from Home Comfort. Steve has an impressive depth of knowledge of HVAC systems based on his 50(!) years of experience in the business. While he quoted us the best price among the vendors we spoke with, it was really the total package including experience, product quality, customer reviews, and warranty coverage (10 yrs parts and labor) that led us to go with HCS. We decided on an American Standard 96% AFUE gas furnace and A/C with a SEER2 of 14, controlled with a Honeywell Wifi thermostat. The installation was done by a two-person crew working from 8am to 5pm. We've used the A/C for about a week now. The quiet operation of the compressor and multi-speed blower, and the evenness with which the system maintains a set temperature are really impressive. Very pleased with the overall experience and highly recommend Home Comfort Systems.
