I hired them to dig and replace a collapsed sewer pipe in my patio. Dwayne and his team did excellent work. He was very knowledgeable and also detail oriented. Though there was a delay due to the weather and the availability of city inspector, they kept me posted and were responsive. They didn’t complete until they cleaned my patio and garage thoroughly. They showed good work ethics throughout the project. Their office staff was also very helpful. Vicky worked diligently to get a city inspector to come back the same day after he failed to show up in the first place, which prevented a week of delay. They were flexible in schedule and competitive in price. I highly recommend Do Right Rooter.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to warn others about my experience with Do-Right Rooter Company.

In January/February of this year, my water heater froze. Do-Right came out, tried to defrost the pipes (unsuccessfully), and we ended up without water for days. While they were there, they noticed the floor underneath my water heater had rotted away from when it previously exploded and leaked into my home. Instead of addressing the damaged floor or letting me know the true severity of the issue, they went ahead and installed a brand new water heater on top of an unsafe, unstable surface.

Fast forward to August, my floor has now sunk nearly two inches. The flue pipe wasn’t even properly connected to the water heater, which meant my young son and I were exposed to carbon monoxide. When I called them about it, they told me to “get a carpenter” rather than taking responsibility or offering a real solution.

To make matters worse, I currently have a private union contractor in my home who is pulling out melted wires, plugs melted into insulation, and dangerously spliced old wiring—all of which Do-Right should have noticed and addressed when they were under my home back in February. Instead, they propped up the water heater with a single 2x4, leaving it dangerously unstable.

We paid over $3,000 for their work and installation, and I truly feel they put my family’s safety at risk with their negligence. There was no real apology, no accountability, and no proper repair.

I would strongly caution anyone considering this company. Safety, professionalism, and responsibility should come first in this type of work—and sadly, that was not my experience with Do-Right Rooter. As a single mother navigating home ownership for the first time, I truly believe I was taken advantage of.

The Do Right Rooter Entire staff from top to bottom were so helpful, courteous, and displayed concern and honesty to me throughout the entire project. The customer service rep was wonderful to work with. She was very through and call us to make sure we knew about our appointment and satisfied with the work. Meikiel is a fantastic carpenter! Very, detailed. We're happy with his work. Juan is a great plumber. He saved us a lot of money by pinpointing the exact problems that the other company missed. Both are a good team. Should we have any issues in the future, we'll be using Do Right.

I would give A Solution 6 stars if I could. I was in a jam and had a broken water pump that was causing a sewage back-up in my front porch area. They first went above and beyond to make scheduling exemptions and come out as quickly as possible, and then addressed my issue with clear expertise and expediency. In my experience, it’s rare to find a service company that delivers service in a way where they aren’t just in it for the money, but truly care about the customer. A Solutions is definitely in it for the customer!!!

I called them for an Ejector Pump issue at my house around 6:22PM. Got someone to take my info and schedule me between 9-11PM that night for a plumber. Received a call from the plumber around 11PM ish that he is still working on his job site and will arrived around 1-2AM which I confirmed via text ok. Waited all the way to 3:00AM with no communication back from the plumber. That’s very unprofessional. Very disappointed to let your customer high and dry.

I had water backing up my toilet and shower in the basement, called A solution sewer and plumbing. I saw that they had great reviews and was not disappointed. They came the next day and scheduled me as soon as they could. They were able to fix the problem in less then 3 hours. Highly recommend! Thanks Mr Rivera!

Prompt, friendly, competent service at the price estimated, which was pretty reasonable by comparison with other outfits I have worked with. The free video analysis helped me a lot in understanding what to expect in the future from my system and in deciding how to handle it in the most efficient and economical way. No complaints at all!

Rivera at A Solution Sewer and Plumbing was the person that did my sewer repair. I really appreciate how informative he was and willingness to share helpful information with me. I have called A-Solutions Plumbing in dire need, the plumber (Trinidad) came out and quoted my service. I made an appointment and he came on schedule. Very courteous and knew what was wrong and solved my problems. I will never use any other plumber. I have had bad experiences and I'm grateful that I took the chance and happy for reviews that I read on this company to help make the decision to call.

Trinidad from A Solution Sewer & Plumbing Inc. was timely, pleasant and kept us informed along the way as to what he was doing to fix the issue (I clogged the toilet with one of those bleach tablets you are supposed to place in the tank but I placed in the toilet bowl instead 😑😣😫). I'm very impressed with the prompt response I received from the company and flexibility with scheduling the visit so quickly. Highly recommend!

A Solution Plumbing was able to come quickly to address a burst pipe situation in our home. The plumbers that completed the work provided very thorough information about what happened and what they were doing to resolve the problem. We have used A Solution in the past and have always been happy with their work and customer service.

Fantastic experience! Mr. Rivera had the challenging task of replacing a rusty leaky pipe from the kitchen going into the basement, finished and unfinished. It was a very complicated situation with space challenges, and uncertainties about where the pipes connected to what other 90 connectors etc. He and his assistant were here for over 6 hours and only minimally cut drywall to fix the issue 100% and replace the pipe with PVC. Its actually quite a piece of art, the piping under the sink and in the basement. Highly recommend this company. Very solid knowledge and creative thinking in problem solving -- they wont disappoint you. Im already thinking about a faucet replacement and some other stuff since I think I have finally found a great quality company! Thanks Mr. Rivera!

Mr. Rivera is very pleasant to work with. I had to have the piping to the sewer done due to old age. He came the next day to give me an estimate (which was free) and explained everything that needed to be done to the "T". The entire job was done in 2 days. No mess, no fuss. I will be calling them again for all my plumbing needs.

We had a situation in the evening where the showers were slow to drain and even were backing up onto the bathroom floor. I used yelp to get multiple quotes and A Solution Sewer and Plumbing were one of the first to get back to me and were the only ones who actually provided me a range that it was likely to cost. They were also responding to me after hours and answering all my questions. He even reminded me of the yelp discount which I had not noticed.

Mr. Rivera showed up within the window he was supposed to, was friendly, explained exactly what he was going to do and how much it was going to cost before beginning the work. He was able to fix the problem in around an hour and stuck around while the water ran to ensure the issue was truly fixed. The final price was within what I was originally quoted and my showers are fixed. Happy customer and I could not recommend them enough.

We used A Solution for a couple projects over the past year. Trinidad is the plumber that has done the work for us and he is really great. He installed a new ejector pit that works great. The new ejector pit worked so well that our kitchen sink started gurgling when it went off. Trinidad came out to assess the situation for free. He came up with a genius plan to use existing pipes that were no longer in use to vent the new kitchen sink (basically fixing the issue left by the last plumbers by thinking outside the box instead of just putting in new pipes). Trinidad and another plumber came out the day after the countertops were installed and hooked up the sink with a new venting pipe. They were on-time, nice, cleanly, and good at their work. I will be using A Solution Plumbing for all my plumbing needs going forward.
