Lowes contracts them to service appliances and I had to take a full day off of work for them to NOT fix my fridge so once again I had to take off of work after waiting over 2 WEEKS for repair and the middle of the afternoon they called and said they weren't coming. Do NOT use this company!!!

This company, recommended to me by Frigidaire for a dishwasher repair, is horrible. They make it impossible to schedule. They are not trying to provide good service.

    DO NOT USE!
As stated by many people, they schedule an 8-5 appointment window and cancel. Also tried multiple times to sell me a Home warranty plan. SCAM
Insist on a different warranty repair company.

Terrible customer service. This company is a Joke. They’ve rescheduled my appointment multiple times. This time the tech called at 11:53 and said he would be to my place in 15 minutes, it’s now 3:25 and no one has showed up. Looks like I’ll be doing the repairs myself and calling to file a complaint.

After 2 separate attempts for service, I canceled my request and hired another company. The service window was 8 am to 5 pm, at 5:15 I received a text with a new service date 2 weeks out. It is almost impossible to speak with a live person on the phone. Do not use this service unless you have all day for them to possibility show up at your house.

Initial tech came on time and fixed (but didnt) the problem in 10 minutes. Apparently he didn't actually fix it because 4 days later I had to call them back for the same problem. I had to wait two more weeks for another tech to come out. Time frame given was 12-5pm with 5 stops ahead of me.. After reviewing the tracker at 4pm( which is a plus) it stated the tech was 4 stops ahead of me. Eventually the tech came at 6:45. Hopefully the problem is actually solved this time.

To be clear, they did NOT repair my refrigerator. LG required us to use this company for a warranty repair,. The tech came and promptly diagnosed the issue, but the company has completely dropped the ball on finding the part. We were told: “we’ll search for the part and get back to you within 21 days.” Crickets since then. We’ve been without a refrigerator for over 3 weeks with no help from LG and no info on repair.

Same issue as many others that have posted here. This is the second time in past 3 months that nobody showed for scheduled appointment from A&E through Sears Home Warranty. Seems they just take your money and decide when they want to fix something under warranty. :(

The tech had left zip ties and loose screws under the drip pan of my oven after a part exchange for a recall. If there wasn't another recall on the oven I never would have found the zip ties that were MELTING into my oven. No wonder there was a bad smell coming from the oven. Lazy, I wonder what else was messed up with the parts exchange. I would have done it myself the first time, but the warranty would have been voided.

Would give zero stars if I could. Got to A&E through American Home Shield (my home warranty company) who assigned my microwave repair request to Sears Appliance Repair, which somehow got to A&E. 1st 2 visits were fine. Repair didn't work so 2nd visit needed to order parts. Parts arrived, & A&E failed to show 3 different times for subsequent scheduled appointments. Each time I took off 1/2 day of work to wait for nothing. No show... no notice... no nothing. Worked through AHS the 3rd time, & when they transfered me to the service team at "Sears", they couldn't find my order and told me I was giving them the wrong phone number. It would have been less hassle and cost me less in time off work to just buy and install a new microwave. Waiting to see if AHS will refund my $75 service fee.

Called A&E to repair my dryer (not drying). The first technician stated that it was a loose part that he just had to reattach. I paid for the service call which was over $100. A few month later the issue happen again (not drying). They sent a service tech that called me in the morning and stated he would be in my area between 11-2p and that he would call when he was on his way. at 11a he just showed up. Said I needed the gas coils and it would be $185.00. I told him I would fix it and then he stated I owed him $85 for a service call. Never took anything apart and he never referenced a service charge for just showing up.

I use American home shield for my home warranty. They assigned me this company.
I canceled 6 days from the date they were supposed to provide service.
Never came never did any work. Never met these people.
Forged documents and submitted them to American home shield and deactivated my account.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! YOU WILL BE SORRY!

I have had their technicians out to my house 5 times so far, I have had 2 parts ordered so far. The last tech out to my house said my appointment was miscoded, so he would not order any other parts. (my refrigerator is under warranty and they coded the visit as customer pay) However, he did diagnose the issue. He was the 3rd tech to come see a code on my fridge, but was the first to actually call in to a diagnosis center to see what the code meant. The first guy said to replace the computer board, the second guy said to replace the cooling fan assembly which at least kinda made sense, but this guy said the diagnosis was the condenser fan, but said I had to contact the manufacturer for authorization.

After calling the manufacturer and getting the authorization, they then made an appointment for someone to come do another diagnosis. Ridiculous!!! It's the same code as day one, nothing has changed. They should be able to look it up again and get the part ordered without wasting my time. I finally got through to a supervisor and told them to contact the tech that was out at my house and get that part ordered. After telling me that this was not their process, she claimed to have looked and said the technician did not record the part that was needed which I find extremely suspect since I was standing right there as he was putting in his notes for the appointment.

It's been 2 months now since this started because it always takes a week or more to get someone out here and they have to send someone out again every
time a part doesn't fix the problem. This sounds like fraud to me. I believe they are purposefully ordering wrong parts so they can continue to get paid by the manufacturer for so many visits not to mention that they keep sending out different techs. Why not assign one tech to each issue so they can just try the next thing without having to come out again.

Extremely poor practices and extremely poor customer service. Oh, and I forgot to mention that before the first appointment, LG told me after I received the part, I should call to see if they have had any cancellations, so maybe they could come sooner. The customer service rep at A& E told me, "we don't take cancellations!" I swear they just want upset customers. They just don't care! I repeat, DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE!

Only using them because home warranty company assigned them. They automated scheduled two different appointments with an 8-5 window and then didn't show up. If you try to call for questions there is no way to talk to a person. Currently trying for third time to get them out to fix dishwasher that's been broken for over a month and they have no record of appointments that THEY scheduled. Wish there was a way to give zero stars.

I rarely do negative reviews, I all I asked for was a refund on their $119 service call fee, and the company claims they cannot refund that. This is what happened.
Absolute dishonest company. My wife forgot to mention the lack of cooling of a Kitchen Aid refrigerator has a sealed system warranty in which all parts are covered and the customer only pays labor.
Techs first estimate was $1700!! Then my wife said "I thought the parts were covered under warranty " then the tech said oh, ok, d
So the estimate is now only $1000. But we had to get the new compressor because it is not coming up as a warranty for him, so we can get it and get will install it. SO I asked why he can't get the parts if they are a factory authorized seevice provider....they still changed $119 to open the door and verify the freezer was warm, and all parts were covered with an ABT Service tech with total cost to us $550. If you had a similar experience, call and file with the Consumer Protections agency!

Unfortunately, the protection plan I purchased from Lowe’s for my LG dishwasher uses A&E for repairs. After two years of owning the dishwasher, it began to pop the outlet in the kitchen. However, no other appliance that is hooked up to the same breaker has this issue, only the dishwasher. First tech came out and was incredibly polite and told us it was a dishwasher issue and that he was going to submit the claim for new parts. It was approved and the following week a new tech came, he replaced the bad parts and left. Later that evening, I went to run my dishwasher and same thing happened. Submitted another claim for an appointment today. Same guy from the second visit showed and all he did was turn the dishwasher off and on a few times then said it’s a breaker issue and he can’t do anything. So he leaves, electrician comes and replaces the breaker and guess what…. SAME THING!!! I want a new tech to come out but am stuck going through Lowes claims department. They don’t have any service reports from the guy who was here today and now we are in limbo. Going on three weeks without a dishwasher. Don’t waste your time on a protection plan if they use A&E.

We purchased Sears warranty and they use this place that is scamming customers and not fixing their appliances. It been since November of 2024 and we are still trying to get our dryer repaired or replaced. Now the last repair guy on February 2024 said he could not fix it, it need to be replaced but he could not put that I until Monday because it was te weekend and scheduled appointment for Monday that they did not keep
