Ilan was an incredible project manager. He kept constant communication and was always available to answer questions. If we had any concerns, he resolved the situation immediately. All of his staff were always on time, very trustworthy, and extremely professional. Our remodeled bathrooms are exactly what we wanted! We highly recommend Chicago Constructions!

We had never hired a general contractor before Chicago Constructions, and we were so pleased with their work on our garage. The crew began immediately and were efficient, professional, and skilled. Ilan, John, and the others were communicative and a pleasure to work with. I would hire Chicago Constructions again in a heartbeat.

I hired Chicago Construction to remodel my 2.5 bathrooms and repaint my unit. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough - they were very friendly and professional. Their prices were fair and they showed up to work every day. The quality of work they did was top notch and they were very easy to work with. Most importantly, they were responsive and I was able to easily keep in touch with them to know what was going on. Great job!

They came for a consult. I told them exactly what I wanted. They sent me a wrote for something completely different. I asked if they could send reference photos of what they were suggesting so I could visualize it. They ghosted me.

We hired Chicago Constructions for several major projects in our new home and would recommend them to others! The crew showed up every single day, everything was completed on time, and the finished work turned out great! Will definitely be using them again for any future projects we do.

We worked primarily with Avi, Miguel and Alberto for our small bathroom reno. They were very professional, reliable and available to answer our questions. The bathroom was completed in the timeline they quoted us and it turned out amazing!

Very professional, efficient and excellent work done. Highly highly recommend. Danny did everything on my list including plumbing, electrician work, and handyman repairs around my house. He fixed my shower (no cold water), replaced pipes in the utility room/laundry room, repaired sink drains, toilet handles, and more. If I have any issues in the future I will definitely use Chicago Constructions again. Ilan the owner was very fair with pricing and the final bill. Thanks Chicago Constructions!!

This was the year! I was going to remodel my 20 year old bathroom. I wanted everything new, the tub removed and replaced with a shower, vanity, toilet, tile, lighting, and medicine cabinet. What I ended up with was a beautiful tiled bathroom, walk-in shower, and finishes you would find in an upscale hotel. Chicago Constructions saw my vision and executed it to a T. Avi and Ernesto followed up with me daily with progress reports, including pictures. Ernesto is a perfectionist, and his tiling skills are a solid 10. I recommend Chicago Constructions for your next remodeling project. You will not be disappointed .

I want to thank both Ilian and Marco for the great job, they did on my kitchen. They replaced my outdated countertop stove and my built-in oven. Showed up on time, did their work, and cleaned up after themselves. It was a pleasure working with both of them and I highly recommend them.

Ilan was tremendous to work with. He and his team were professional, polite, responsive, and flexible throughout the remodel, and they delivered an excellent finished product. They accommodated my timeline as things came up, which I really appreciated. Several weeks after the project was completed, I asked Ilan to come out to double-check something, and his team was here the very next day and fixed the issue promptly. I would strongly recommend his services and plan to use him again for my next project.

Ilan and his team at Chicago Constructions were professional, straightforward, and delivered excellent results. I had a broken shower pan but wasn’t ready for a full bathroom remodel. They built a beautiful new tiled shower base and skillfully blended the tiling, even without access to the original tiles for the bottom rows. They also preserved my existing shower door, which I appreciated. I’m extremely happy with the outcome and would gladly hire them again. Unlike other contractors I spoke with, they never pressured me into a bigger remodel, which made the experience even better.

This company is a nightmare. They didn’t finish the job. Terrible communication, and no leadership accountability. Talked trash about there own plumbing and Electrical sub contractor and vice versa. Had to tear up all there own drywall work because they forgot to put in the mounting studs for the cabinets. Drywalled over electrical that was still being worked on and had to cut it back open and wanted me to pay for there mistakes. Oh did I mention they were crying to me for money because I quote “ We don’t have gas money “ and it gets better can you give my guys money for lunch. Who operates like this. Unbelievable! Keep your money and go with a reputable service. I take blame because I found them on Craiglist. Lesson learned. I will accept that i was way to kind to this company and I will do my best to warn everyone and make sure the better business bureau is notified. I really hope they try defend themselves like they did on Arron’s review. I could definitely use a good laugh. BEWARE!!!

To follow up on my original review, the painting went beautifully. The upstairs rooms & the stairway never looked this good, pics attached of one room start to finish. Ricardo & every worker on his team--exceptional. I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.

What a breath of fresh air. I hired Deluxe Construction to drywall my entire upstairs including a stairway ceiling. I considered it a very difficult job with so many angles & cuts. Their work ethic, experience, & craftsmanship was evident immediately. Drywall was installed in half the time I was expecting & it looks great. Besides that, Ricardo & his crew have been a pleasure to work with. I am so pleased I am also hiring them to paint the upstairs. If six stars was an option I would give them six stars.

Make sure you do your homework, especially if you are looking for quality work. This is only one of many issues I encountered with this company.

Sidney and his crew helped me with my first home purchase and renovation project. It was a 2-flat in Albany Park. This was a 203k project. I was about to have to back out of the deal due to not being able to find a 203k certified contractor. Sidney was friendly, flexible and a good communicator. He even provided some recommendations that took some scope out of the project for himself. I enjoyed my time working with him, and still contact him for small projects or to offer referrals today.

My husband and I inherited a house from my in laws about a year ago. The house is very beautiful but the bathroom and the kitchen were not so pleasant and outdated. We also wanted to stain the floors throughout our home a different color. We were in need of a general contractor who would be able to bring our home to the 21st century all while within a reasonable price. From a common friend of our family and my in laws, we got to know about Cornerstone. After our initial walk through and meeting Sidney Howell and his partner Barron, we knew we would most likely choose their company to complete our project. They both were very professional, competent and answered all of my husbands and I questions. On that day, we discussed everything. Sidney told us that we do not need to rebuild the kitchen, we could just remodel it and that would be enough. He told us rebuilding would cost a lot of money and it's unnecessary, instead we could just remodel and be in a reasonable price structure. That, to me and my husband, showed they had integrity and was a honest company, which was one of the reasons we hired them. We had 3 other contractors come in before Cornerstone who all gave us a quote for a build out, never mentioning all we needed was a remodel.

Anywho, my husband and I COULD NOT believe the transformation, it is just amazing!! Sidney suggested we knock out the wall separating the kitchen and living/dining room area to create a open feel. It turned out unbelievable! The floors are to die for as well. Thank you Cornerstone for this job. We've gotten so many compliments. I love hosting family gatherings just to show off my kitchen LOL. Thank you so much.

Josh and his team have come to my rescue more than once. I live in a condo and have had water damage issues a couple of times from units above.

Josh and his team (including John) were quick to respond and easy to schedule with. Both jobs — drywall replacement and painting — were completed in less than two days. The quality of the work was excellent, and the pricing was very reasonable.

John, who handled the finishing work, does exceptional work. The cleanup after the job was also top-notch — couldn’t have asked for more.

Highly recommended.
