We hired them to do a thorough move-out/deep clean on a vacant house before putting it on the market. They did a fantastic job and the house was like brand new when they were finished! Prompt and thorough service. Highly recommended!

Note to cat owners - they will not deep clean homes with cats (couldn’t get an answer on a non-deep cleaning despite asking multiple times).

I scheduled for Sunday and clicked the box for cats, as well as noting there were multiple cats in my notes section. The first person who accepted the appointment canceled the day before because she was allergic to cats (she had come to my apartment previously). They were able to reschedule a different person for Monday, who came, started the apartment, and then left because she was also allergic to cats. Neither she nor the office told me. When I called they said there was no one else that could clean because both of these people are allergic, and then tried to blame me and said they knew they were allergic but they were going to try anyway, and but because I had multiple cats they could not.

I have now had two phone calls with the office and both have been extremely aggravating. In addition to telling me no one could clean the apartment now, they defended their decision to send two people in a row who were allergic to cats to my apartment, apparently unconcerned that they also risked their cleaners’ health.

When I suggested they update the website to reflect that they will not deep clean homes with cats I was told they will pass that along to the management team - a different management team that I was not allowed to speak to. The website currently says they will change your cats litter - which to be clear I would never ask them to do - but it does make you think they are able to clean homes with cats. Apparently there is a website management team and an office management team, at least, but only two deep cleaners in the whole company.

At this time they refunded half of the (very high) cost of cleaning - in order to “make up for the inconvenience” - however 50% of the apartment literally was not done, so I don’t know what part of that makes up for the inconvenience.

We had Eveling as a cleaner and she did a wonderful job. She was extremely thorough and was able to clean a lot of the tough-to-reach places my roommate and I had struggled with on our own. I highly recommend her and Companion Maids!

I had such a fantastic experience with Eveling! She was on time and easy to work with. She deep cleaned my apartment, giving special attention to the bathroom, floors, oven, and fridge, and everything came out spotless. She brought all her own supplies, which made the process incredibly easy for me. I also appreciated how easy she was to work around while I was in/out of Zoom meetings—very professional and thoughtful throughout. I would definitely use her services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thorough and reliable cleaner!

My cleaner was Will, and he did a great job. I didn't have to look over his shoulder, he just knew what to do. He is friendly and was responsive to all of my cleaning requests. He left my apartment looking and smelling clean.

The service is absolutely wonderful. They come with their own equipment and cleaning products and are quite me.

Made the move-in cleaning appointment about 2 weeks ago for today (saturday 8/28) at 10am. I received a call from the Companion Maids 5 minutes past the appointment time that they are running late and will be here around 10:30. No problem. Comes 10:45 no one was here so I called asking if they are coming. They said they are 5-6 minutes away. The cleaners finally arrived an hour later than appointment time at 11:10pm. I left the apartment and came back around 12:30pm and they were already gone and was just really disappointed in the job they did.

My new apartment is 1000sq ft and 2bed/1bath, was relatively clean, but I wanted all the detailed cleaning. They not only did half the job, they left dirty microfibers and magic clean eraser that they used in the kitchen sink!
I left a comment that I wanted the detailed cleaning in the fridge, they only cleaned the part that was mentioned in the comment - inside the fridge. The glass door is left with water marks. I wouldn't spend $250+ for a basic 1 hr cleaning of the apartment. Maybe it's Ok for some people and I'm attaching some photos taken AFTER the cleaning to see for yourself and decide.

Companion Maids is consistent. I’ve used them in NY and happy to say they offered the exact quality service in Chicago as well. They did a move-out deep clean for our 3 bed, 3 bath and left the place spotless. The two cleaners were incredibly thorough—every corner was tackled, and the appliances were shining like new. They were right on time, super communicative throughout, and made the whole process completely stress-free. The place looked move-in ready by the time they left. Highly recommend!

Let me start out by saying I was totally out of my element in looking for a cleaning service that worked the Chicago area. It was daunting as I did not have a referral.
My 86 year old aunt needed a cleaning service. I began the " old school way" by calling several companies. I spoke to 5 different services before speaking with Ernie
I generally have a great sense of people, however we live in different times .
I immediately picked up on Ernies listening skills . He seemed to pick up on my concerns for a reliable service plus the safety issues of coming into my elderly aunts home
After 5 minutes I made the decision to go with his company
They exceeded my expectations in every way .The job was perfection and the women were professional and kind
At the end of the day I must say that Ernies customer service was the driving force in choosing his company. He also applied a coupon for being a first time customer. With that said I highly recommend this company
