I needed a deep cleaning for my kitchen, living room and bathroom. Dorothy responded right away with a fair quote and came out on time as agreed. She was very professional and curtious. I was very happy with the result and will definitely call her again. Her prices are fair and she does her best to accommodate your request.

Dorothy is a lovely human and non-judgemental partner for your organizing needs. We had a huge number of boxes to go through — some from before we got married five years ago — and she and her partner helped us get it neat and tidy in just two organizing sessions. I also love they will drop off any donations you have for free. The peace of mind is wonderful, and I will continue to use this company to go through several other problem areas!

I hired Pleasant Palace to take on the tedious job of cleaning my baseboards and walls in my home, in addition to some deep cleaning. My home is mostly white, so it was no small feat; my place was sparkling when the cleaners were done! They also have great personalities and I will be using them again the near future!

Pleasant Palace Cleaning was a pleasure to work with. I used the services to deep clean my apartment after moving out. The rate was extremely reasonable and affordable for my roommates and me.

Excellent services with great attention to detail. The cleaners come once a month to help keep our apartment clean and they do a great job! They tailor each visit to what we need that month - if we have guests coming we ask them to do the guest bathroom instead of master, etc. They are always able to adapt and get the job done well. Also very communicative so we never have issues if we have to change things last minute!!

Dorothy was very professional and efficient. From the first communication I had with Dorothy, all the way through the implementation of the service she was responsive and willing to address any questions I had. She was able to create an organized system for me in my bedroom that will allow me to maintain movinf forward. I'll definitely be using Dorothy's service again!

Decluttering service, the team was heaven sent and was extremely helpful with organizing and offering ideas for long term solutions that we use in our home, I have already recommended to other friends and family. I will be receiving another service (the deep cleaning service) so i will be back with an update on that.

Dorothy from Pleasant Palace completely saved my home and sanity this month!

I struggle with organizing which makes cleaning difficult, so I finally hired a service.

Dorothy came up with a plan for me! We did several short organizing sessions and then a thorough deep clean.

I told her I have anxiety around cleaning, and she was so considerate and checked in with me regularly to see how I was feeling. She was as flexible as I could ask for and incredibly competent and kind.

I will continue to work with Pleasant Palace for all my future cleaning and organizing needs!

Pleasant Palace is amazing! Not only do they do a wonderful job, but they are kind, thoughtful and non judgmental. My college student hit a very rough patch, and Dorothy and her team went in, cleaned up, helped him with organization, and did not make him feel bad about himself. They were kind and supportive of what he was going through. They have come several more times and are always wonderful. I can not recommend them enough.

Grant has become a favorite face in my Aunt’s home. She loves his work and that he likes to sing to her music. She’s happy, I’m happy.

1. Dorothy sent two kids who just graduated from high school to my home to "organize," who admitted to me that they'd never professionally organized. They were in my apartment for exactly 4 hours, and organized nothing. I had to explain things to them multiple times, and caught them on their phones and sitting, which I complained about to them, and Dorothy. They were so inefficient, that I asked one to come clean the kitchen, and I had to guide him through the entire process of cleaning the stove, sink, and changing the cat litter. Everything these two did needed to be redone.

2. Dorothy came to my apartment later in the evening because her car broke down, extremely upset because of the lack of work they'd done. She said it looked like they hadn't done anything, and was extremely apologetic. Dorothy brought her cousin who is a doordasher to help clean, who was not supposed to come. Her cousin "deep cleaned" the kitchen, but left the baseboards and oven filthy. She also left things all over my counter. While they were in my apartment, I made Dorothy aware that I didn't want to be charged more than the initial estimate, which was 3 people for 4.5 hours and $440. I also asked her how much extra she'd be charging me for the fridge, cleaning 1 drawer, and organizing a couple of cabinets. She said she would give me a "very good price," considering her employees lack of progress. I jokingly told her that I didn't want to pay $1,000 for extras, and she stated that my overall total wouldn't be anywhere near that. I asked her twice to give me the total price BEFORE she started, and she refused, claiming she'd email me. She also said she'd seen her employees on their phones before, and has already spoken to them about this.

3. When Dorothy left my apartment, I was extremely disappointed with how she left things. After 5 hours, she had simply folded ALL my clothes and placed them in bins all around my room and dresser. She put NOTHING in the dresser. She also organized nothing. Baseboards were left dirty, carpet was dirty, and she folded things that needed to be hung up. The window sill was also left filthy, things left lying all around the room, and on the dresser as well. She also complained when her cousin asked if I wanted my bed made stating she "had to go because her boyfriend was waiting." The living room, floors, hall, and bathroom were never touched.

4. I followed up with dorothy the next day to request that she organize AND clean things the right way. I emailed her multiple times over two dayy. She didn't get back to me until I told her I that I was hiring someone else, which I did since they told me they could come that afternoon.

5. Dorothy sent me an invoice for over $1,000, stating 55 dollars an hour per person. This invoice changed the hourly rate significantly from the initial quote. It stated that the room was 90 percent done — when it wasn't, her two employees were there for 5 hours earlier — when they weren't, claimed they cleaned the pet area, when they changed the litter, my fridge was a level 2 cleaning which it wasn't, and that the kitchen was "deep cleaned" when it was left with items all over the counter, filthy baseboards and a dirty oven. Shen sent me a statement stating that she is sending me to collections in 30 days and that she's charging me 7 dollars for each day that I don't pay her.

6. She later updated the invoice, charging me $20 an hour for her two employees, and $55 for her and her doordasher cousin. The company I paid hundreds of dollars to, spent 14 HOURS in my apartment doing things that Dorothy "claimed" her company did on the invoice.

7. I'm a lawyer, so I'm not concerned about her threat to send me to collections. I will hire my own attorney to get this removed. I'll be reporting her company as well. This is a warning. If she'll do this to a lawyer, she'll do this to anyone. This woman is beyond shady!

To Dorothy: You can try to dispute things in this email, but I plan to post my HOME FOOTAGE, both invoices, pictures and ALL additional documentation, so don't bother. Thanks!

Dorothy and Ariel did a fantastic job with the cleaning of my refrigerator and stove as well as doing a thorough cleaning of the kitchen. Thank you kindly for your service/support. We’ll keep in touch so I can get some more work done.

To say that I had a Pleasant experience is an understatement. Dorothy and Ariel came in and immediately got to work. Dorothy gave so many creative suggestions and both are nonjudgmental and were so sensitive to my needs it was like having a caring friend in the house. They were great company too, so easy to talk to. They are quick and very professional. They went through my pantry and medicine cabinet, checked the dates of everything in there and threw out everything expired and reorganized the rest. They took everything out of the closet and went through all of my hair accessories, boxes, bags and other junk. She asked me what I wanted to keep and she threw away the rest and neatly organized everything else. She brings her own storage bags and containers and cleaning supplies. I can actually walk into my closet now! I am 1000% satisfied with everything!

Did a move-in deep cleaning with Sandra and Ana, they did a great job, they took their time, didn’t rush and left the place spotless. Highly recommend them.
