Wife had been bugging me for awhile to get the back patio redone and I just kept putting it off, finally gave in, called a few places for pricing and we chose Medina.. The wife could not be happier! Carlos and his team did an incredible job on our small backyard. Turf installation and patio looks amazing! Carlos is very responsive and great to work with. Last minute changes to the design due to grading issues were no problem. Would be happy to work with them again.

I highly recommend Carlos Medina and his crew for your next landscaping project!! Carlos was incredible to work with. After I called him to get a quote, he came out the next day and I received a quote via email within 24 hours. His work is impeccable and his prices are super reasonable.

His crew was super friendly and responsive to my questions once the project was underway, even when making minor adjustments to the overall design as requested. They made sure I was 100% happy with the design and finish. He and his crew listened to my ideas and vision for the backyard and helped me design a beautiful layout to maximize the overall utility of the space. Carlos was available 24/7 throughout the entire project, via phone, text, or email. No doubt, he's amazing with communicating with his customers!!

They also do Snow Removal. But I wouldnt hired them unless you want all your employees running to HR to file a complaint on damaged cars.
My car was parked right by the entrance of the company when their Truck came in shooting salt all over the back end of my car. The driver quickly notice because he drove out and away from my car as it was a parking lot. To his shock when I open the door because I happen to be inside the car.
He didnt even hesitate to hand me a card. When i walked across the lot to him where he parked and waited for me... I asked why the hell would he start the salt spray next to my car? He just gave me the company card and said to call "its only salt, nothing new, just call, they'll handle it?" But that salt manage to scrape the back side of my Audi... and he knew, just didnt care. Was only there to do his job.

Well i called the office and it seems like they dont care either because they did not care to know for the location. Nor have they have not returned my phone call. So here's the review owner.

Carlos and team did a fantastic job with installing turf in our front lawn. They provided excellent communication, arrived on time and were extremely professional. Their team was able to level the area, put down small rocks and then install the turf all in one day. They also left the area very clean when they were finished. They came back 9 months later to do a retouch on a few corners that came up slightly due to our dogs running around. It’s already been over a year and the lawn looks absolutely perfect. We couldn’t be happier. Wish we would have done it sooner. Hoping to enjoy (or for our 2 pitbulls rather) the turf for many many years to come. Highly recommend Medina Lawncare and will use for future projects. Thank you!!

Needed a major cleanup to prep for fall & winter in our yard and make it fire pit friendly. Medina came out and took care of it all, did an amazing job. The yard is clear and firepit safe now! Won't have to deal with ugly burnt grass later thanks to their suggestion for a little patio with bricks for the firepit to sit on..

Recently had the Medina team out to remove existing landscaping and install new turf, trees, and accents. They KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK and I couldn’t be happier with their work. Carlos with extremely easy to work with. The invoicing was all done electronically and very quickly. I would give them a 10/10 for all areas of the service.

Carlos and team did a fantastic job helping us design the redo of our backyard to make it a more livable patio space. We previously had mulch and a birch tree in our backyard which made it difficult to use the space. We had Medina remove the tree, level the space, build up the retaining wall and lay down the new pavers. A lot of work needed to be done to level the space and get the water drainage underground and away from the retaining wall. Carlos's team is very busy but he kept in touch about scheduling and was able to accommodate us for our 4 day job. The team was fast, clean, organized and professional. The patio looks fantastic and we couldn't be happier with the work that was done!

Our backyard was a gross mud Pitt thanks to 3 playful dogs. No matter how attentive we were, grass/sod just didn’t work. Carlos from Medina Lawncare suggested turf and gave us several samples that would be durable enough for dogs and look good, not fake. Medina lawn care responded right away and was up front and reasonable with cost and their time line due to weather. They came exactly when they said they would and the installation went smooth and seamless. Our backyard now looks great and is perfect for the dogs. We no longer have to look at a patchy and muddy back yard. I wish we had done this sooner. I would highly recommend Medina Lawncare.

Medina Lawncare has been such a pleasure to work with. They completely transformed our little shared backyard space into a beautiful private oasis that we can actually use and spend time in now. Medina lawncare built a custom pergola, lattice wall, and a bar on my rooftop at a fraction of the cost of all of the big "roof and garden" companies in Chicago. They were quick, efficient, affordable, easy to work with, and even surprised me with a custom built bar on my roof with left over lumber for free! I would use them again for any of my lawn, garden, or rooftop needs.

Javier and his crew did an amazing job on landscaping and recapping our stairs/entryway. For the initial estimate, Javier came to our condo building and did a walkthrough (our other bids gave us online estimates only). Then he followed up with renders and recommendations. Scheduling was quick. Javier was able to squeeze us in before a big job so we could enjoy the new lawn asap. On the first day of the job, we hit a curve ball as we discovered a rotten wood structure beneath the stairs (which caused our stairs to cave in). So we had to rebuild the stairs instead of just recapping it. Javier quickly came up with a plan and kept things moving instead of rescheduling the whole project. In the end, we only added a couple more days.

Thanks Javier and his crew. They showed up every morning before 8am to start. It was also super helpful that we saved the parking space in front of our condo for the crew for loading and unloading. I'd definitely recommend Medina!

Medina was hired to replace our existing wooden deck with a new paver patio. Their quote was very competitive compared to most in the area (Lake Bluff) and could not be more impressed with the outcome of the patio. From the initial design phase to securing permits and finally completing the project, their entire team was a pleasure to collaborate with. They performed the work efficiently, adhering to the original schedule. I highly recommend Medina and anticipate engaging them for future projects.

The team at Medina did an outstanding job on our roof project. They took the time to understand our vision and provided thoughtful suggestions to bring it to life. We ended up having them build a pergola and privacy walls all the way around the deck. Felt constantly lied to. Always an excuse. Was told one thing face to face or by phone and then an e-mail would hit saying the exact opposite. Worked looked okay after corrections, but is already going bad, e.g., sagging fence, gaps in pavers.
