We hired NWL to design and install extensive landscaping for our front, back and side yard. The design process was very thoughtful and thorough. Our ideas and feedback was incorporated into the final version and we were given lots of options for specific plants and flowers based on our budget, preferences and their suitability. Installation itself was very smooth and the final product, including a firepit area with a seating wall and the extension of our existing patio area, came out terrific. We are very pleased and would highly recommend Nathan Wright Landscaping to anyone.

Bottom line, there is nothing to recommend this company. You will overpay in order to be deeply and persistently involved supervising correction after correction at each stage of their error-riddled process. For every instance when Nathan Wright himself told us that details matter and how much they cared, there was another foreseeable, preventable mistake made. This included significant additional charges mid-project for having mistakenly under-calculated the amount of dirt required, installing damaged stone and plants, and failing to account for necessary soil retention.

Nothing expresses this better than the planting of a birch tree directly in the path of a fence gate they had installed. It took a few days to get Nathan to come out, make many empathetic noises, and then after a week or so of “thinking about solutions” eventually move the tree out of the gates path. All while repeatedly asking for payment, the only aspect of our project they handled promptly and diligently.

Every stage of our landscape project went wrong. Every stage. The planning, the quote, the grading, the hardscape, the fencing, and the planting all came with one or more large, clear error. Not one of the many other subcontractors we’ve worked with during a six month rehab project made this many mistakes. Not one had to correct so many mistakes or made so many excuses. And not one required so much of our time and attention.

When we were standing next to Nathan, he appeared incredibly empathetic and caring. After he left us, the answers frequently changed. He lost our trust during this process and while I never want to question another person’s honesty, more than once I felt blatantly lied to.

We have used NWLD for many years for various projects in the front and back yard, both landscape and hardscape. The work is outstanding and our gardens are the envy of the block.

Nathan Wright does an incredible job on our landscaping year round. Their attention to detail is unmatched. The flexibility and communication they provide us on the scheduling end is 10/10 as well. Highly recommend you hire them for your landscaping needs!

The whole team at Nathan Wright is fantastic. Nathan Wright Landscape Design has helped me with our home since we moved in about 3 years ago. They are very professional in their meetings and going over the 'plans'. They were able to make adjustments to help me meet our budget. I felt they took what I envisioned for my yard and made it happen. They were timing with their appointments and careful with our property. The landscaping we ended up with has been easy to care for and looks great season and after season. Nathan and his crew did a fantastic job completely transforming our backyard last fall. A year later, our plants are thriving and my family has gotten much use out of it. We had them do a design and install. They were able to work within our budget and creative expectations. Every step of the way they took the time to get to know our wants and needs for the space to ensure a design that would last years. Any questions or concerns that we had were addressed with haste and tact. For instance, after the install, we had an issue with the concrete that they poured in i.e. the location proved difficult to properly shed runoff water. They came out immediately and made time for us in their busy post fall schedule to resolve our issue. Looking forward to having them come back and design our front yard.

I've had only excellent experiences with Nathan Wright's team for our plant installations. What sets them apart from other landscaping companies I've worked with is the customer service. Peyton and Christine have always been super responsive and pay close attention to our needs.

They're very knowledgeable when it comes to choosing the right plants, and their installation crew always does an incredible job - it's clear they value their customers and take pride in their work.

I have used Nathan Wright Landscape Design for multiple projects- all with extraordinary results!
