My relationship started with the Klujian folks when I came into some old rugs from an inheritance. I only had to give up a stupid beat up lazy boy to get all six of these old things from my siblings, and it turned out to be a great choice.
After they were repaired, cleaned and flat out restored, they offered to take the one rug I didn't like off my hands to offset their fee. The fee being reasonable but significant, and knowing I would never use the ugly one anywhere, it was a win win for me. Turned out, the rugs were made by a very quality vendor in turkey, and they were valued altogether over 5 figures. I don't often blindly trust anyone and thinking that they were just placating me, I checked their estimation. Turns out, not one, but two competitors told me the same thing. I gave up the one rug and did so happily. I will use these folks for ever. Trust worthy, easy to deal with, and overall professionals in their trade.

My father is a longtime customer of theirs who used them for cleaning our oriental carpets. My family recently brought a very weathered and worn Persian carpet from the 1920’s to their shop for cleaning and repair and the results were astounding! This included repairs to tears in the carpet, worn spots, and fraying edges. We almost did not recognize the carpet when we got it back. My family and I would highly recommend their services.

They have always done a reasonably good job for me in the past. A little pricey and they demand cash up front. They allow a 30% discount when you drop your rugs off rather than a pickup. Recently they billed me back the 30% after I picked up. I was out of town when the the carpet was ready and when the 30 days were up. They didn't advise me at the time of pickup, but sent a bill after the fact for the 30%, rescinding the discount. Last time I use them. They could have been up front and told me to my face!

I am thrilled to have found such a professional, high quality, amazing customer service family business! I have a beautiful custom runner that needed cleaning. I was thrilled to find out that they offered pick up and drop off to the North Shore , which obviously made it so easy for me as I live in Highland Park. The runner was done within the week, dropped off to me looking as good as when purchased. Based on my experience, I am scheduled to have them clean my sofa and some rooms in my house. EXTREMELY PLEASED!!!

I have been using Mathew Klujian's and Sons for years to clean and buy new carpets and rugs. They are knowledgable, professional and wonderful. Not only were they able to clean my carpet but they were able to fix the damage other carpet cleaning companies made. Finding beautiful quality carpet at great price is no easy task! After having no luck at the big box stores (Home Depot, Menards) and some local independent carpet retailers, a friend recommended I look at Mathew Klujian & Sons, Inc. in Chicago. She had recently purchased carpet from them and had rave reviews so I figured I would give it a try.

Upon entering the showroom I was greeted by the owner who worked diligently with me to ensure I not only found a carpet I liked aesthetically, but also a carpet that was going to be a good quality for an exceptional price. Once I chose the carpet I wanted for my bedrooms, stairs and hallway, the owner came to my home to measure. I had read online about how frequently carpet companies ‘over estimate’ how much carpet you need for your home which means a bigger order ($$$) for them. I had already had Home Depot and another retailer out for a measure and was amazed when my quote from Mathew Klujian & Sons came in at a significantly lower amount of yardage needed! This alone gave me an extra feeling of confidence to buy my carpet from them.

I chose a patterned carpet for my hallway and stairs and the owner called me numerous times to discuss the visual layout and best way to install the carpet to maximize wear. Another personal touch I really appreciated! I can’t express how meticulous and professional the installers were when laying the carpet. The pattern I chose was especially difficult to install and the end result was flawless!

This family owned company has been in business since 1938 and they have definitely fine-tuned what every customer is looking for and needs; a vast selection of quality carpet at an exceptional price combined with the professional, dedicated service you need. There is no nickel and diming on costs such as paying extra per stairs or moving furniture and the padding is far superior to any others I saw. Any smart consumer in the market for carpet should visit their showroom on Devon…it is evident they have figured this business out over the past 75+ years!

The dog got sick and and our $8,000 living room carpet paid the price. Mathew Klujian and Sons not only saved the carpet from the dog, they brought the entire 10'x12' area back to life! We thought the carpet was permanently faded/discolored from years of sun and wear and tear but after their cleaning and treatment the colors "pop" again and it looks new. Thank you for doing a great job at a reasonable price and getting it done quickly.

I couldn't be more delighted with the results after Klujian and Sons cleaned and repaired my rugs. They put new edges on my Chinese area rug and as for the tribal Moroccan, it looks like new. I highly recommend them for anything rug-related!

I recently had a flood in my house and several of my rugs I thought were complete ruined. I emailed pictures to get their opinion and they told me they could not guarantee that all of the color run and furniture stains would come out. I looked at the video online and saw that the process was far Superior from other companies videos after getting the rugs back two of the three rugs came out perfect and the third one improved by over 90%. They even re-cleaned the last rug for me at no charge to see if they could improve it. I was extremely happy, especially since they did not make any guarantees before cleaning the rugs.

Watched a family member's dog for a while. It really loved going to the bathroom on one rug in particular. Thought I was going to have to throw it away. Was returned in brand new condition. Would highly recommend!

Do not go here the owner is belligerent, dishonest and the services rendered are incompetent!

I wasted over $30000 in their incompetent carpet sales and installation services and they never completed the project.

They demanded remaining small balance on account despite the fact that they never corrected installation problems, delivered and installed carpeting over 30 day late and when confronted with problems they made no reasonable effort to correct.

In the end they stripped my old carpeting and left exposed nails throughout the project area and refused to correct dangerous condition.

Now I have to check my dog and children for exposures to nails.

I met Matt Klujian at his place of business when I dropped off my silk carpet for restoration. After talking with him and touring his facility, I decided to try his area rug cleaning service. My rugs are high quality, and I care that they look their best. Matt's team came to my house, moved my furniture and took the rug for cleaning. All went well. The rug was delivered back to me looking great. You would never know that I have cats! I felt confident hosting Christmas morning with gifts and kids everywhere on that carpet! The rug was beautiful, and clean as new. I will have Klujian work their magic on my other rugs, too!

I highly recommend Mufid and his services. We scheduled him for a deep cleaning and he made our stove and oven look brand new. He showed up on time, and brought all of his supplies and is super organized. We do not need to provide anything! Also, with his deep cleaning, he steamed all of the tiles in the grout and our bathroom looks so clean. He did so great that we now schedule him bi weekly to clean. We highly recommend him.
