Poor service and the lady answered phone was extremely rude

The woman who answers the phone there will just blow you off by telling you "oh someone will contact you later today" and then it never happens. Avoid.

Mighty Men did a great deep cleaning job on a older Chicago bungalow my clients purchased that had been vacant for several months.

Have been using Mighty Maids for over 15 years. They are great. The owner talks briskly and has a heart of gold.

I've been using them since 2010. I'm still using Mighty Maids although I notice their customer service (phone) has gotten poor. The good: I can call and get house cleaning service in 24 hours. I messaged several house cleansing srvs in Chicago and over a 2-3 day period it was back and forth negotiating price and not getting a call back or a reply message. When I first called MM on Wednesday and asked for service for Thursday, I got an instant appointment.
However, this is for Margaret who answered the phone: Very unprofessional. You didn't say "Mighty Maids", you answered the phone like you were at home and I questioned if I had the correct business. And then, you didn't ask for a credit card like you usually do. I had to remind you to take my credit card. And -- you didn't ask if I had my own supplies! As you usually do. And you were so laissez faire about taking the card #. I think MM needs to join the 21st century and get a website, get a decent phone service. I wondered if they were out-of-business because all the other house cleaning businesses have websites or some kind of internet presence. The woman they sent to clean was (as usual) an older EU woman, very pleasant. I was glad she showed up on time - as they usually do. But I wondered why she was on her hands & knees scrubbing my floors instead of using a mop? If she thought my mop wasn't good enough, she should have told me. I'm always open to getting better cleaning products.
The cleaning is "standard". I didn't need a deep clean which is what the other services wanted to give me. I just needed a scrub down.

Landlord recommended this service for when I moved out of my 1bedroom, but she was so unsatisfied with how they performed that she had to hire another service which took another 4 hours.

Also, like the other reviews said, they claim they'll call you back but never do.

I generally am a big proponent of small and local businesses. However, the older woman that owns or works at this business is truly a horrible person to deal with. She constantly has her dog outside off leash which is not only illegal, but I have had to walk my bigger dog (appropriately and legally using a leash) in the street to avoid her poorly behaved and off leash dog, which puts myself and my dog in an unsafe situation. This business also consistently parks their cars (a coupe and a minivan) in the crosswalk which is unsafe for all pedestrians. Please support local businesses that make an effort to be positive to the neighborhood. If they think leash and crosswalk laws don’t apply to them, imagine the corners they’ll cut cleaning your house.

Great service… Wonderful women who clean thoroughly… If you ask them to do extra things they do they always change the sheets wash them. Fold them up for me so I can put them away and also will do the towels. I couldn’t ask for a better service, and the woman who owns it has a heart of gold. Don’t be scared by some of the negative reviews, mighty maids and mighty men are a wonderful cleaning service!’

Impossible to schedule and contact. Answering service is incompetent. Scheduled appointment with no show. Many other businesses are more organized.

They washed the windows on the day of a rain and wind storm, broke the window and still didn’t wash the patio window. The next day it was clear out and 70° and they sent a note that “due to weather conditions” they would not be back on site. Only pro is, the repair company they use reached out right away.
