I love in an older house with copper pipes and one cracked. I got a referral to call Dominic from another plumber. He was awesome from the first phone call through explaining what they were going to do to fixing the other minor plumbing issues in my house they were great. thanks again

I highly recommend this company. The were patient because I was dealing with the HOA. They arrived on time, courteous and got right to the job at hand. Showed me before and after the job was completed pumping out the grease catch basin. Thank You Thomas for your patience.

Had United Sewer fix a broken sewer pipe outside and then re-route the sewer line in my basement. They did a great deal of work, but did an excellent job, were responsive, cost effective, and explained what they did to me. Would absolutely recommend to others.

My water Main broke and was losing water. I googled to see how much to expect the front water main break to cost me to fix. I had a few estimates some where way to high. I have no complaints with this plumbing company. Their price was very fair and pretty close to what google info quoted.
United sewer & Drains Corp did a great job. The owners if the business were very professional. They got the job done without breaking up my side walk. That would have probably been more money and inconvenience. We had a few rainy days , but other than that the job was done in good time. The employees were respectfully and we're aware of the covid-19 safety precautions.
I would absolutely recommend United Sewer & Drains Corp. It was a big expense, but working with a reliable and responsible , knowledgeable company made it a less stressful experience. Thanks for the great job.

I came home from work to find my basement completely flooded. I found this company on-line, read the great reviews and immediately gave them a call. They came out the same day and rodded my catch basin. My basement is now free of water and they didn't leave until the water was running out smoothly. They explained everything in detail and was very professional. The price was reasonable as well. I highly recommend this company to anyone who's looking for great professional service. Had an appointment for this morning at 9:30 to check a back flow valve and they never showed up or called. I waited until noon and nothing, go with someone else if you need a plumber. 👎👎

I hired a company, Ace Plumbing and Sewer Inc, which is no longer featured on Google, that ruined my vintage basement bar over the course of three months to do what United Sewer & Drains was able to do in one day. They're dependable, adaptable and persistent in solving any plumbing problem. I've since hired United Sewer and Drains to do everything from augering pipe to installing a new outdoor valve. I'll be using United Sewer and Drains for all of our plumbing needs in the future.

My main sewer line was backed up. United Sewer was able to come within an hour, rodded it and got it opened right away. After getting the initial root clogs out, they ran the rod through the line several more times with a larger "scissor cutter" to get all the residual roots they could. Highly recommend!

They exceeded my expectations. Very knowledgeable, efficient and courteous. Victor Jesus, Angel, Jose, Martin and Gerardo work very well together and they really get the job done right. They had modern technology and tools that showed me images of where the repairs were needed before the work began. I am now a loyal United Sewer & Drains, Plumbing Services customer.

I needed service immediately when I noticed standing water near a basement drain. My pipes were totally clogged with tree roots United did an excellent job Jesus and Angel worked diligently until the obstruction was clear and everything was flowing fine. And as an extra bonus they cleaned up nicely, all at a fair price.

Eddie was phenomenal. Patient, resilient, incredibly professional. While the circumstances are stressful, his clear dedication to providing a superior customer service made a sour situation palatable.

I want to be absolutely clear: the original technician, Eddie, did excellent work and is not part of this complaint.

The issue is with Field Supervisor Kyle Garza and the colleague who accompanied him. During their visit, they informed me that my recently repaired plumbing was “damaged” and that the only solution was a $7,350 repair. They stated that my home would become “uninhabitable” without this work and that I only had a few remaining uses of the plumbing system. They also claimed the job required special digging permits and extensive additional fees.

Because these claims were extremely serious, I contacted a licensed Chicago plumbing company for an immediate second opinion. The licensed plumber inspected the same issue the very next day.

Here are the facts:
• The licensed plumber found no damage of the kind described by Mr. Garza.
• The actual issue was roots in the line, which were cleared using more appropriate equipment.
• There was no need for digging, no need for permits, and no justification for a $7,350 charge.
• The situation was resolved in approximately 20 minutes, compared to the hours spent by Roto-Rooter.

When I attempted to follow up with Mr. Garza about the discrepancies between his claims and the licensed plumber’s documented findings, he refused to answer questions because the call was recorded.

Based on verifiable, licensed professional inspection, the information and repair requirements presented to me by Roto-Rooter were not accurate.

I strongly encourage anyone dealing with Roto-Rooter to get a licensed, independent second opinion before agreeing to any major repair. Experiences like mine show exactly why.

Root Rooter came out fast and took care of my plumbing issue with no hassle. Chris was knowledgeable, respectful, and explained everything clearly. Great service and fair pricing. Highly recommend.

My repairman, Joe, went above and beyond helping me with all the facts on what needs to be done. He was able to route out the pipe quite aways to clear a clog in a 90 degree 3 inch pipe turn. My bidet was installed incorrectly and damaged the bidet connection damaging the fill valve inside the toilet. This also caused a leak. And I understand every part of this. He suggested the type of toilet to provide a stronger flush to help. As a recently widowed 71 year old woman, I’m so appreciative. My family bought a multigenerational house recently with a big section of it that was rented out before I moved in to it. I’ve lived here a week and inherited some issues. Many, many thanks to Joe for his patience, professionalism and being such a nice man! I highly recommend this company and Joe!

Came out when they said on time. Showed me exactly where the problem was and cleared the backed up sewer line. Proactively inspected another line and solved a seperate clog before it got worse I was very happy. I had another plummer that came out making up stuff without even inspecting to see. Great work! No regrets!

We were having water backing up through our floor drain on a Friday night. Sean was on time and so friendly throughout the process. He listened to the problem we were having and then went through the steps to diagnose the issue. He laid everything out before beginning the work. He was very thorough and kept a clean workspace. I was very impressed with the Roto-Rooter technician, Tyriek. He clearly explained the issues with my kitchen line and catch basin. He and Adam, the camera operator, also described the cause and recommended solution to prevent future back ups and the recommended frequency of routine jetting. I appreciated the detail they provided and patience with my questions.

While the rodding out of my kitchen sink was done successfully, I was totally ripped off price wise (my fault). I was charged $570, a price I was told was a "discount." I thought this was a very high price but we needed the work done prior to relatives arriving for Thanksgiving. After the job was done, I found a receipt from when I had the same service done by a local plumber back in 2023. The price? Just $192. Lesson learned. Never, ever call Roto Rooter again. Call a local plumber.

Roto Rooter was responsive, very detailed, and corrected our sewer failure perfectly. Mat Rackowiak, Tony Babila and Yory were a pleasure to work with, they are very professional and very helpful.

Israel and Mike came out to my daughters home at 10:00 pm and saved the day!!! They were kind, courteous and highly knowledgeable. They unclogged her toilet quickly and after made sure it didn’t clog again. Would highly recommend roto rooter….and ask for Mike and Israel!!!
