Can’t recommend Apex highly enough for plumbing issues. We had frozen pipes and were in a panic. Called Apex who sent out Chas and Jimmy within 30 minutes. They are friendly, straight to the point, and consummate professionals who took the time to carefully look at not only what the issue was but went over all options to fix the problem with the costs explained upfront. Within 2 hours, got the job done and gave practical advice to prevent freezing pipes in the future. Very reasonable price for the excellent service. Grateful to them. Will definitely be calling them in the future for any other plumbing needs!

Apex replaced our 7-unit condo building's commercial water heater. Marco provided a lot of good insight along with a competitive quote. Once our condo decided on Apex, they scheduled us immediately and completed the work in about half a day. New heater works great, job site was clean after their work, and the team was professional. Definitely recommend Apex.

I heard water gushing down beneath the kitchen sink as I was washing some dishes and I immediately knew our garbage disposal had met its demise. We called Apex and they were able to schedule someone to come out the next morning. Marco came and confirmed that the garbage disposal needed to be replaced. Marco immediately got to work and as he did walked me to through the installation process step by step in the event I had to troubleshoot any potential issues with the disposal in the future. He was helpful and very professional which is the exact reason our condo association has used Marco and Apex multiple times in the past. Highly recommend Apex for your plumbing needs.

Apex Plumbing helped us out when we needed an emergency water heater replacement this winter. They talked us through our options, provided recommendations, and thoroughly answered all our questions so that we were able to make an informed decision on which heater to go with. They did what other plumbers said couldn't be done, fitting our desired water heater in a tight utility closet. Apex was also the least expensive of three plumbers that provided quotes. Chas and Colton did a great job on the installation, and the other members of the Apex team that we talked with throughout the process were helpful and professional. Highly recommended!

I had a leak and Apex was over within an hour of calling and was practical in the approach to fix the leak with an honest approach. They will be my new go to plumbers.

Barbie was excellent and took my call right away (outside of typical business hours). She was thorough with details and very patient. It’s not often I find plumbing services to be responsive let alone going the extra mile. If Barbie is representative of the culture they have at Apex, then they are certainly living up to their name - top plumbing company I’ve encounter thus far!
Will gladly do business with them again and am recommending them to friends and family.

Marco was incredibly professional, efficient, and knowledgeable in remedying the heating issue we were experiencing with our shower. He made life easy and was very communicative on next steps throughout the process. I called Apex needing a new toilet installed on short notice. Marco from Apex called and set the appointment time. He arrived on time and got right to work. He was thorough and explained everything that he was doing. He replaced all of the components with new parts even though the old parts looked new. He cleaned up the area once the job was completed and he hauled away the old toilet. I was impressed with Marco's knowledge, skills and workmanship. This is the second time I've used Apex Plumbing with great results.
Marco and Hector came out to fix a leaky shower. They were responsive, efficient, and easy to work with. They also found a problem I was not aware of that urgently needed to be fixed, and addressed that too. Highly recommend!

Great as always! My building and myself use apex whenever we have plumbing issues. Needed to work on my outdoor spigot but found out we had no shutoff for it. Called them on Friday afternoon and they had someone for us on Monday (would have gotten sooner but it wasn't an emergency). Marco was very professional and knowledgeable. They were able to diagnose and put in a shutoff in less than an hour.

5 Stars on "Timing" and "Installation"!!!

I needed a quote for a gas dryer hookup "alteration" in a tight timeline. I called Apex because they were in my neighborhood.

Their front office asked the right questions, and had Marco out to me within the hour!

Marco looked at what was needed and was able to supplement this job within his schedule to get it done on the spot. (and professionally/aesthetically)

Again, this was a call out for a quote... This guy just knocked it out immediately. And better than our expectations!

We couldn't be more satisfied with the service.
We will use Apex again.

I recently had my hot water heater replaced and had a great experience with Apex. Chas and Hector were excellent - very professional and communicative throughout! Will definitely use Apex in the future.

Marco replaced my water heater and went beyond to made the furnace tap correct and put in a new proper cutoff valve. He doesn’t just take the easy route. His end product actually looks like a piece of artwork because his connections are so clean. The process only took a day and everyone was very nice and left the place spotless.

Marco and Jose were great helping me fix issues with my two kitchen faucets. They were vigilant to help figure out a solution and helped solve the problem in the most economical way. I would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately, I've had three plumbing issues in 2023-2024 - two issues with toilets and a hot water heater issue. Fortunately, a neighbor recommended Apex Plumbing. Each time I called, they were able to send someone out that day and quickly diagnose and resolve the issues. They are fair on price, very transparent and all three employees I have dealt with have been courteous and professional. I highly recommend Apex!

Double review! I've hired Apex a second time before I had a chance to write the first review.
We had Brandon out to get our water heater in our new home up to code. Brandon was fast with his work, friendly, and easy to deal with.
A couple weeks later we had Marco out to work on a low pressure shower and a clogged basement sink. Marco got the shower done pretty quick and tried his best to get our sink worked out but it quickly became clear our elderly galvanized pipes would have to be replaced. So, the shower is fixed but we had to delay the other project a little while just to space out how much we're spending. Marco gave is an estimate before he left. We'll be hiring them again to come back and fix our pipes soon.

Wow. Was accused by this company that my review was not truthful so here you go, updated. Spent 1k less than a month ago to fix my kitchen garbage disposal. Since then the gd has slowed and sounds different than when first installed. Apex forgot about the first appointment and had me waiting two hours. Finally showed up today with no tools ( dirty shoes all over my foyer) took 2 min and said sounds fine. Didn’t bother looking under the sink or at the garbage disposal and was so dismissive. Completely unprofessional and very eager to do the work but no follow through. Had it fixed by one of the engineers in the building since Apex was clearly not going to help. Just kept saying “there’s warranty so it’s fine”

I’ve been working with Chuck and his team at Apex since 2019 and they are the most knowledgeable, competent, professional, reliable and fair plumbers I have ever hired. I first hired Chuck when I was president of a condominium association with a complicated sewer issue that I asked him to assess. Several other well known plumbing companies had previously either been unable to properly address the issue or proposed astronomically costly and destructive solutions. Chuck was immediately familiar with the type of situation and proposed a very reasonable long term solution. From that point forward, Apex became our association’s plumbers for everything from main water line maintenance, connected plumbing, as well as work in individual units. When my family moved to a single family home last year, Chuck himself came to the home inspection to make sure the plumbing on the 100 year old home was in proper order. Over the last year, the Apex team has been out a couple of times for routine things like clogged drains and maintenance. But, no matter how big or small the job is, they are just as responsive and thorough. And, as if all
of those qualifications aren’t enough, the entire team is just a group of really nice people! As long as I own a home in Chicago, Apex will be my plumber of choice!

Sad to be writing this review- my elderly father was quoted almost 800 dollars for a simple sink clog, that another plumber was able to fix for 150 dollars. Beware.

Apex (Chas and Victor) did an awesome job tuckpointing and sealing our basin in our parking lot. They were swift, efficient, and very friendly. Thank you!

Chas is the best. Came out on a Sunday and the price was great. Unclogged my tenants shower and even provided a screen so that it doesn’t happen again.
