They said the job would take one day of plumbing and one day of drywall repair. The first day they left after two hours. They did not come back until five days later. During that five days, there were plastic sheets hanging over everything and drywall torn out of the wall. They spent another two hours the day they finally came back day and "finished" the project. At the outset of the project, they strongly urged us to use 3/4 inch pipe, so we took their recommendation, even though (for reasons I won't go into here) this decision doubled the amount of work. They used mostly 3/4 inch pipe, but also used about a foot of 1/2 inch pipe and a sillcock with 1/2 inch water flow, thus twice negating whatever the supposed benefits were of using 3/4 inch pipe. They used the woodwork as their workbench so it had to be repainted. They left their garbage in the house and in the garage and their drywall guy did not dispose of it either, so I will be wrestling that into a dumpster tonight. I hired another plumber to inspect everything to make sure the house was not at risk. He redid several aspects of the project including a pipe that protruded beyond the studs that would have made drywall installation impossible and, if the drywall guy had somehow managed to do it anyway, would have likely caused the drywall to warp. They put some silicon in the hole around the exterior spigot but not nearly enough so it has open gaps. There is silicon stuck on the front door handle. For this, Diversey Plumbing's hourly fee, after subtracting out the cost of piping and the sillcock, was more than three times as much as the hourly fee of the second plumber.

They did a great job on my parent’s garbage disposal. My mom & dad (Mr. & Mrs. Gupta) are very satisfied. They arrived on time both days and fixed everything very quickly and without issues.

Never showed up for their appointment.

Never showed up after 6 hours of waiting. 4 calls later they finally just flat out cancelled.

I had a great experience with these guys.They were very professional and friendly.They arrived on time and helped me to move stuff from under the sink as they worked on it and even put it back for me after they were done.They also cleaned up after they were done and their charges were very fair. I would definitely recommend them.

We scheduled an appt almost 1 week in advance. The 2 hr time window was coming to an end and we hadn't heard so I reached out. I was told 3 times that they were 'on their way'. After the time window was up and still no one had arrived, I called again and was told they would be there soon. The 5th time I called someone finally told me that my job was assigned to someone who wasn't working that day and the manager would reach out to me in the morning to reschedule.

I ended up calling them twice in the morning and never heard back. To be non-responsive after having provided zero updates on the scheduled date of service is not acceptable.

Craig was efficient, very experienced, considerate, and was willing to answer all the questions I had. I learned a lot, and the job was done carefully and completely. Pricing was up front and very transparent. Working area was left clean. I have a lot of confidence in this company.

I don't know what kind of stars to give - because they did not come to our house. They said that there would be a charge just for coming to the house without being able to give even a ball park estimate of the cost. I asked to provide a ball park estimate of the cost of rodding a downspout line - and said I wouldn't hold them to it, and they said that they could not even give a ball park estimate over the phone. I can understand wanting to know the situation - but I found services that would come out at zero charge, assess the situation and then give an estimate. Paying $99 to get someone just to show up without having any idea what it might cost after than doesn't make sense to me.

Do not use this company. Had a very horrible experience. I made an appointment and paid for their annual membership after I was convinced by one of the sales person that with $200 annual membership, I will get 10% discount for the service provided in the future. They never showed up on the scheduled appointment and I had to call 2nd time to reschedule it. They never showed up the 2nd time I called and I called again for 3rd time and very apologetic about about the situation. I gave them one final chance and promised someone will call to reschedule and never called me back. After paying $200 annual membership and this type of service will not keep any customers happy. I have no idea how this company received 5 stars with this unprofessional service and their customer service do not feel like working at all. I rarely give a bad review but this is way beyond my patience.

These people are the epitome of shady plumbers. A repair had to be conducted in a hurry and someone less knowledgeable had to supervise it and they saw $ signs and took advantage of the situation. Charged $850 to replace a shower cartridge and a toilet mechanism - $50 of parts and 30 minutes of work for them. Refused to provide a detailed invoice (that I needed for reimbursement). Actually did not use the right shower cartridge the first time, but hid it and charged the money anyway. Only when I called them out on it, since the shower did not work right, they came back to fix the shower for real. Avoid, unless you want to be ripped off by a couple of shady characters.

This company is always reliable and professional and has very fair rates. My family and I use them for all our plumbing needs, we highly recommend Sam's Plumbing And Rodding.

When our water bill spiked, they helped track down a silent toilet leak. They replaced the flapper and fill valve, and the bill dropped back to normal. Really saved us money.

My brother recommended Sam's Plumbing And Rodding company after he had a good experience with them so I called them when I had a leak in my kitchen.Jim, the plumber who came , was thorough and knowledgeable . He explained the cause of the problem and how he fixed it.Price was favorable and I was never disappointed. Will use again in future.

Called Sam's based on the reviews. Happy we did. We got Jim who was just GREAT! We had him back again within days to fix a different problem. He was also (respectfully) early, instead of me having to wait hours indefinitely like so many contractors. He will be our plumbing guy moving forward!

I have had a very poor experience with this company.

First, they missed their appointment and didn’t give me any notification - they never showed up day of. I was told they would come first thing the following morning but the plumber did not arrive until the afternoon.

I hired them for a simple job of replacing a leaky valve and also replacing a water faucet I had already purchased. Ultimately, I was charged $520 (labor alone) for what I would consider a basic job. The service fee of $120 was not waived or deducted from the final bill.

After the job, I noticed a pool of water below the sink and had to call him back. Even after the second visit, there was still a leak so I had to call him back a 3rd time to finally finish the job.

Lastly, I was supposed to get a quote for installing a disposal but that never came even though I asked for it twice.

Huge waste of time and money.

Sam's Plumbing And Rodding did good work and didn't leave until it was all done correctly. You get what you pay for and these guys are worth it! I've had 3 other plumbers here in the past and none as professional and knowledgeable as they are!!

Excellent job well done. I called Sam's Plumbing because I was having problems with a running toilet that was driving me nuts. Not only plumber fixed the toilet,he fixed the hot water heater as well.The toilet is fixed and the hot water is working again, very professional, great price. I will use again. Satisfied customer
