Another great experience with Green Grass! I’ve used them several times, and I am always very satisfied with the quality of their work and the speed at which it’s done. This time was no different; they did an excellent job. This was, however, my first time working with Account Manager, Ryan Shearer, and I must say he really exceeded my expectations. He was always available, responded quickly, and put in extra effort to make sure everything was perfect with my hardscape project. I look forward to working with Ryan and the Green Grass team again!

We have used Green Grass for about 10 years for lawn maintenance as well as annual flower installations and upgrades to the building landscape. They are always professional and provide quick responses to any questions or issues we may have. They also give great options when we want to update! The crew is always quick and professional and does a great job on regular maintenance and spring/fall cleanups! We also use them for snow maintenance and they make sure our lot is cleaned up quickly! Definitely recommend!

Pat and his crew did an awesome job with our trees and bushes. We moved into our new home and the landscaping was severely neglected. Also, wife was 10/10 satisfied.

Pat and his crew did a great job landscaping our yards. We called him on a Sunday and he was at Our Pl., Monday morning and was able to complete the job that same day. They did everything we asked for very time efficiently, and one above and beyond with their expert recommendations. They worked with us to get a good price, and also did a great cleanup afterwards. Looking forward to re-hiring them to plant some hydrangea trees.

I was fully prepared to spend a good chunk of money on landscaping...well, it won't be with this company. I was very clear setting up my appointment that I am a new homeowner and didn't know where to start. I was looking for someone to come out and give me direction of what project to begin with and some quotes on different things (putting in grass, cutting down trees, removing and repaving bricks, etc). Started off well, the guy was nice and was telling me a couple different things I could do, but at some point this appointment took a turn and he said "he doesn't have time right now" and to "give him a couple of hundred bucks and he will tell me exactly how I should do my backyard." So what you're saying is you don't come do appointments like this for free. Someone could have just told me that upfront before wasting both of our time with this appointment. I'll spend elsewhere.

We have used Midwest Landscaping for the past two years. They did an excellent job trimming our bushes, professional edging, mulch installation, power washing our koi pond (who else does that?), tree trimming, yard cleanup and more. This a truly family-owned business who cares about the service they provide. They respond quickly, often within a day after leaving a message. Their prices are very reasonable. Pat also plowed my driveway after a heavy snowfall without a contract after a large snowfall. I can usually handle the small stuff.

Pat was exceptional to work with throughout our recent project with Midwest Landscaping. Within a week and a half of getting an estimate, our front yard has been completely transformed. Pat was incredibly professional and responsive from the start. He had a ton of great recommendations regarding the front yard work and suggested various ways to enhance our curb appeal (adding a stunning retaining wall, trimming/shaping bushes/trees, eliminating flower beds). You can really tell this is his niche. Pricing was up front and very reasonable. No surprise up-charges along the way, which we appreciated. His entire crew worked so hard and efficiently throughout the 4-day process. I was very appreciative of his updates and communication during the project. As a first time home-owner, his patience with my questions and expertise in this area was invaluable. Highly recommend Midwest Landscaping. We look forward to working with them in the future.

This 'landscaping company' just stomped through my neighborhood putting flyers on doorknobs; The man they hired just STOMPED THROUGH my retaining wall flower bed on his way to the next house. Are you KIDDING ME?!!

[Update: in response to the owner's reply] I am loathe to comment further, but I am not 'Rachel', I do not know any 'Rachel' and I've had no phone or verbal communication with the owner or anyone in their business whatsoever, nor do I ever care to. Whoever Rachel is, her actions are separate from mine...but according to the comment, she sounded rather upset. It seems clear that I'm not the only one who was disturbed on the very same day. Enough said.

Emotions aside, I witnessed (but also on camera) two employees walking straight through our neighbor's retaining wall/landscaping and yards as a short-cut to distribute company flyers on their doors. Then, one crossed directly across the street, cutting through my yard (not using sidewalks, paved walk paths, or driveways) straight to my door, and then stepping into the mud and THROUGH my own retaining wall/sprouting spring flower bed (!) and then through my yard. So my neighbor's grass weeds / pollen are now mixed into mine, and the flowers (Thanks...? How is that acceptable to you as landscapers? The irony here is off the charts. There's 'a real conversation' starter for you.) That is completely disrespectful as it is destructive - and yes, unprofessional - and therefore I am perfectly fine with leaving this legitimate negative review. The only other regrets are for my lost and wasted time, emotion, and realization that a one star review seems to have been one star too many - the waste of a perfectly good star.

PS: I also found it rather interesting how brand new 'favorable 5 star reviews' suddenly emerged simultaneously, just a couple hours after my negative feedback was placed here (the very same evening, maybe just another coincidence.) These are just random observations - but perhaps we have found a point of agreement: Anyone can post whatever they want on social media. That includes my very fair and substantiated review of (mis)conduct. Don't like it? Make some real positive changes and train your employees to observe local ordinances with common decency. Show some respect! That responsibility rests with your business and your employees -- not me, or 'Rachel', or our neighbors.

Very upset! A older gentleman was significantly taken advantage of by this company. They charged $1,200 to clean gutters and trim bushes on a 2,000 square foot ranch home. Called to address my concerns and there was no acknowledgement of wrong doing. Keep an eye out for this company and their pushy ways!

Pat and his crew came out and did a complete clean up, mulching and replaced a couple bushes. My yard looks amazing. Thank You Midwest Landscaping will definitely use you again.

Fantastic to work with and very knowledgeable. Pat and his son Jim did a great job with our tree trimming. Highly recommend this company to do your next yard project!
