We had our backyard patio redone from broken/cracked concrete to pavers by Peckhart Landscaping, and we love it! Gary, Brennan, and their team are a pleasure to work with. They were patient with our questions and decisions, willing to answer any/all questions, explained the work and process, were honest with pricing and expectations, and overall a positive experience all around. We would highly recommend!

I could not have imagined working with a better company. We worked with Bryan and Doug on our project, who were meticulous with every detail and plan moving forward. Once we broke ground we were 'rocking and rolling' every day with well-planned coordination without a day missed for human error (even they can't control the weather). After our project completed, they continued to respond quickly to needs when a particular tree needed attention/replacement. While Green Grass is a large scale operation, I truly felt like their only customer with the level of attention. Highly recommend.

Edit: 5/1/26 Friday Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep - It's DELIVERY TIME AGAIN!
Edit: 4/29/26 Worst, most inconsiderate neighbors ever! It's 11:40pm, Wednesday. Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep..
Is it snowing? No. Raining? No.
    It's DELIVERY TIME!
Hey Green Grass holes, it's 2:30am Sunday morning. Do the neighborhood a favor and shove a rag in the back-up beeper on your loader. We don't need an alarm going off all day & all night.
Edit" So in other words, "No."
Your "vicinity" does not include my living room. I believe I'm safe in my house, windows closed, half a block away, from being hit by your tractor. The manufacturer sets the beeper at maximum because they don't know the sound level of your location. It may be modulated.
The noise is not the only problem, it is the time and the necessity. The claim is it's needed for snow prep. No. Not every day, read the radar map:
Edit: "See how easy that was?", he said as he popped the bucket.
Edit: It's Saturday morning, 2:45 a.m. Is there another "snow emergency"?
Edit: 11/9/25 It's 11 pm, sunday and you have somebody in your work yard beeping around. Do you really want to start this again?
Edit: 01/30/26. Apparently you do want to start it up. Its 11pm at night. Do you really need to be partying in your equipment yard now If you're so "concerned about your neighbors"... (you're not.).
Edit: 02/02/26 Now it's 2:40am and again your guys are doing what in your equipment yard? Training? What "important reason" makes it necessary to be there now?

Mike and his crew worked hard to figure out backyard drainage issues and did not give up until fixed. Thank you!

Saw them on my door camera leaf blowing the same spot section on the drvingway for 30 minutes trying to look busy. Saying you dont have me as a client doesn't help score

Todd and his crew were clean and kind while taking our backyard from blah to oasis. They fixed a drainage issue, built a shed pad, added a paver patio and spruced the place up. Highly recommend.

Canceled my weekly service without any notice after acquiring my landscaping company I’ve used for years. Terrible “customer service”. I had to reach out only to be told they booked all of the spots & canceled routes that they didn’t have room for without notifying those customers.

I called and set up an appointment to get a quote for a patio job. Nobody showed up the day of the appointment, I called and left a message inquiring and never heard back.

We contracted Green Grass for a professional landscaping design to serve as a blueprint going forward. We wanted to create a backyard garden scape and thought we could count on Green Grass. Jeff came out to look at the property. Didn't take any notes or photos, which didn't bother us at the time as we had not received a proposal yet, so we figured it was a just the initial meeting. He sent the proposal - $780 for plan for which he required a 50% downpayment. We paid, and he told us they were extremely busy but should have something for us in 3-4 weeks. Three weeks later, after not having heard from ANYONE, I reached out and was told someone would be on site the next day for photos and measurements. Nobody reached out to us to ask our opinions on plants, run any ideas by us, or gain additional insight into what we were looking for. There were no additional face to face meetings or even a phone call. A week later, four weeks to the day that we went under contract, we were e-mailed a plan that was commensurate with something that we could have had done at Home Depot. There was nothing imaginative about it. The plan was comprised almost entirely of arborvitae, hostas, ground cover and hydrangeas. The paver patio and walkway had no flow, and was all done at straight edges and 90 degree corners - which is very easy and efficient for them to lay (while allowing them to charge the same cost per square foot) but devoid of any creativity or flair. EXTREMELY disappointed we lost four weeks for something that looked like they maybe spent an hour on. When I expressed my disappointment to Jeff, he simply said he would waive the second half of the fee, basically confirming he had no interest in the project or any commitment to delivering a quality final product. So I am out $390 and four weeks, but can only imagine how bad it would have been had we actually gone to contract on a project. Take a pass on Green Grass.

The Green Grass crew did a fantastic job on the spring cleanup. Everything looks wonderful. I’m so very pleased. Thank you for your hard work!

Came to Green Grass to help solve both functional and aesthetic problems. Functionally, our yard takes on a lot of water and we needed a solution to help mitigate this. Aesthetically, we wanted to wipe out what was there and start fresh with a new design. Jeff and his team delivered on all fronts. We worked very collaboratively on the design and the GG team delivered on everything as promised. Functionally, they have done a great job providing solutions to keep our yard from becoming a swamp every time it rains. Most important to me, when there were changes or tweaks to make, even after the installation, they never left and saw it through to make sure we were happy with the final product. They've been a true partner, invested in finding solutions and not just a landscape vendor that does the job and leaves. I'll be partnering with them for all my future needs.

Numerous problems with the hardscape installation. Also they chose Summer Snowflake as a plant to line the walkway to the front entrance. Now anyone approaching the house must pass through a gauntlet of bees.

If you’re looking for a senior landscape architect to create a backyard sanctuary of your dreams or for water drainage solutions, look no further than Jeff Johnson at Green Grass. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, easy to work with and invested substantial amount of time creating a beautiful backyard patio combined with shrubs and trees based on our feedback as well as the most cost effective water drainage solutions to properly manage the abundance of water on our property. He worked with us through various revisions, recommending colorful plant combinations and was aware of various city codes and permit process so the job was done right. He made sure the project was finished with our complete satisfaction in mind from start to finish. Jeff Johnson has earned our trust as our “go-to” for all our landscaping needs and we would highly encourage anyone to put him in your consideration set for any landscaping project you might have. You won’t be disappointed.

Green Grass did an excellent job in designing and installing our new patio. They were responsive to our needs and professional throughout the process. Our rep Todd Dickey did a bang up job designing our landscaping, bringing it on budget and with high quality.
