Did not have a good experience with Wingren in the 2024 season. My contact did not communicate very well and never visited the home. The people that took care of the property did not do a good job on anything besides mowing, I would not recommend them for anything beyond this scope of work. When discussing the contract, I made it very clear that I wanted to prune the trees and bushes myself but Wingren was to mow, edge, clean up mulched areas and perform fall cleanup of leaves.

The edging they did was horrendous (see pictures) and took them over a month to fix. The fix was not great either.

They also pruned all my trees and bushes without consulting with me first. I do not like the way they pruned them. I have been pruning them for a few years to establish clean lines in my bushes which they completely ignored. They also pruned my raspberry and blackberry bushes and left some of the branches half on.

A few times the tractor left yellow spots across the yard.

They also used a ton of weed killer in all our mulched areas which is what we had discussed but they also used a lot of this around our garden beds to kill anything growing around the garden beds which we did not agree with. When confronted with this we were told no weed killer was used around the beds from the person who has never been on site.

A small portion of our playground was broken by their mower and we were not told about it until we saw it ourselves including nails sticking out of the playground.

Whenever I tried to speak to one of the guys on site, which is rare because they came during the day when we are working, they did not speak English and were unable to properly communicate with me.

We have roughly 3/4 acre property and paid a total of $6,263.77 which was paid in seven installments of $894.82 for the months of May - November. With that amount of money we were expecting a more professional service. We hired these guys because they take care of the properties across the street as well so we thought this would be a good fit.

Scott and his team successfully completed a job that included significant backyard landscaping, a new sidewalk along our house, and some drainage rerouting. We were very happy with the results and he even dealt with some unexpected issues with the drainage that he communicated with the village to complete. Would definitely use his team for future projects

Scott and his company are amazingly professional, on time and honest. Scott also responds promptly to emails and texts. Great customer service. I would recommend them to anyone.

Not only has Scott done phenomenal work at our house, I initially retained him after seeing the amazing work he did in my neighbor’s yard. As I watched a stunning landscape evolve next door, I was also impressed by the consideration and professionalism his workers showed neighbors during construction.

Scott and the CMS crew are absolute first-class professionals. They recently completed a massive transformation of our backyard, including an outdoor kitchen with a pergola, a 3.5-season outdoor pavilion, a custom area for our hot tub, and a beautiful firetable.

What sets Scott apart is his incredible attention to detail. There were hundreds of decisions to navigate, and Scott stayed ahead of every single one. He helped us dial in everything from the exact roof peak height and integrated color schemes to the precise proximity of the firetable so it could be used as a functional coffee table. Just listing a few of the many many details Scott took full ownership while providing so much guidance.

He didn't miss a beat on the technical side, either—managing the wood type on the ceilings, the direction of the wood coffers, and the placement of Bromic heaters. We especially love the integrated electrical screens, which make the pavilion a true 3.5-season space regardless of the weather. He even thought through the small daily-use details, like which way the outdoor fridge doors should swing for the best flow. I could go on and on.

The result is a perfect 10. We highly recommend CMS, and Scott is welcome to bring future clients by if they need to see what true quality looks like! He even stoped by to make sure all the remotes, apps, WiFi, cable and I that knew how to work everything!! Incredible!!!
