Green Grass transformed our yard space from a mud pile that was sliding into our neighbors yard, to a beautiful and functional space. We were impressed by the professionalism of the landscape architect Jeff, the project manager Patrick and their crews. The bid we received was competitive with the other vendors that we spoke with. This company stood out with their thoroughness on the plans and detailed proposal as well as their knowledge of village code. Multiple sections were completed (100 ft brick retaining wall, pavers patio and fire pit area, and fencing). They were patient with our many questions, as well as flexible when we changed scope several times. We highly recommend Green Grass and look forward to working with them in the future.

We had Green Grass do major work in our back yard. It was originally a giant concrete disaster. They were able to remove all of the concrete and install sod, plants/landscaping and a patio/pavers in just three days of work. The men doing the work were fantastic. They paid attention to every detail and left my property so clean even with all of the concrete demolition. Our designer, Todd, was wonderful too. He responded quickly to emails and answered questions thoroughly. Todd worked with us to create a beautiful and practical design that fit our property and lifestyle. He even ordered a new plant when one didn't handle the July heat despite watering. We are so glad we invested in our property with Green Grass and highly recommend their landscaping services!

Green Grass has been our friend and ally in many ways and across several projects: from storm sewer and drainage as well as landscaping across two summers. They have always gone above and beyond with impeccable communication and service from small to large scale projects. They have taken our new build and created a gorgeous landscape of mulch, pavers, retaining walls, bushes, trees and flowers. Britny King especially has been an incredible resource for our family when any requests or issues have arisen. I have used GG since they installed landscaping in my new home 20 years ago The last three or four years have been really substandard. Unevenly cut grass, especially near some of my mounds too many brown and dirt spots to even count anymore. We control issues that just aren’t working. I was told that they don’t treat certain kinds of weeds since they were sold, a few years ago, the Quality gone way downhill and the prices of going up and up and up. Overall, pretty disappointed.

I have worked with Green Grass for 3 projects so far and another coming up. Specifically I have worked with Todd for all of the designs. He has been responsive, creative and has worked with me with options to stay in budget. The crew has been exceptional each time also. Everyone has been pleasant, attentive to details and have gotten the job done fast! We completely regraded our front yard, which is on a hill. It was sloped wrong and they made sure the pitch was away from the house and added in new drainage. No more water in our basement! We did all new landscaping in the front and it’s absolutely beautiful. Everything has held up over the last two winters and has bloomed beautifully! We also did a patio and walkway in our backyard. Again we had some leveling issues which the guys perfected. The stone work is beautiful and beyond what we expected. I cannot recommend Green Grass enough.

I called Green Grass Landscaping to see if they could update our “tired looking” landscaping. Ryan Shearer (Account Manager) came personally to discuss our needs/wants for an updated look. Once I explained what we were looking for, he was able to develop a landscape plan that not only updated our landscaping but offered solutions to other issues such as rain water run off and “blank spaces” in our yard that needed some visual appeal. I had the new plan within a week. Once I had the plan, Ryan took the time to review it with me to make sure it was what we were looking for. Ryan, Ricardo (foreman) and their crew worked hard to clean up and repair our problem areas, removed and replaced all shrubs, added some color with perennial flowers, and transformed our back yard into an outdoor oasis that was perfect for our lifestyle.
Ryan and the crew were very professional, hardworking, prompt, polite and extremely knowledgeable. The project turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Ryan was also very responsive and reassuring during the entire project and checked in regularly to make sure we were comfortable with the direction of the project. This contract price was very reasonable for the amount of work and I am so glad I called Green Grass.

My former landscape company folded and recommended Ryan Shearer @ Green Grass to us. Glad they did. Ryan came out to visit to understand my needs. He put these needs into a proposal in a timely manner. After some back and forth we had a plan for the season! His crew showed up every week. Our lawn never looked better. Generally, I am a DIY'er when it comes to projects including all thing's lawn and landscaping. Having run into unanticipated medical issues, I turned to the good folks at Green Grass to take care of lawn mowing, weeding, rebuilding paver walks, installing retaining walks, removing overgrown shrubs and bushes and re-planting with fresh material. Their capabilities are extensive, their work is amazing (including end-of-day cleanup) and timeliness superb! We have a 8-10 year relationship with Green Grass and have no doubt another 10+ years in the works. Great Job guys (in particular Account Manager Ryan)!
