Booked Hoffman on line for a service call on an appliance, a GE fridge. The gasket had come loose on one fridge French door and the freezer door was sticking from a hard vacuum. They came out the next morning. Our serviceman was friendly and personable, he did his best but was not knowledgeable about the unit or the problem. I don’t consider this an issue with the technician. Rather, I had hoped to avoid this very problem by specifically providing the specs on the fridge including make and model when I booked the appointment…. Hoping they would assign a tech familiar with the unit. Instead our tech had to rely on someone at the office to walk through it with suggestions. The recommendation from the office involved over $750 worth of work on top of the service call. I passed initially. After he left and with a little research I used a hair dryer to heat up the door gasket, re attach it and tuck it in with a screw driver, and lubricated it so it no longer stuck. As for the freezer, I cleaned out the vacuum pump opening with a little soap and water and the freezer vacuum issue was fixed as well. Will these issues last? We’ll see, but the fridge door gasket is only $55 online if it needs replacing and would not require more than ten minutes to put it on myself. All in all, it was very disappointing the office didn’t instruct the tech to try these basic fixes before quoting all new parts and labor totaling nearly $900..

Great experience right from the start. Called, explained what was going on with water heater and was able to get an appointment set up right away. Xavier came to the house and discussed in detail the different options. We ended up replacing the old water heater with a new one. Xavier was great. Very professional, friendly and hard working. He got the old one out and the brand new one installed during same appointment. It looks and works great. Highly recommend!

Terrible. I had to tell tech is job. Came in eventually said I could run furance on fan and could increase humidity. I said is the humidifier working that is what I want to now. He said yes even though had not looked at anything on furance. I said water going through the hose. Went to hose pulled one out and I said little water is that normal. He said yes. He seemed lost again at that point. I said do you want me to tell you your job. I said do you want to check the filter I have one here you left with me. He said ok. Checked filter and dirty replaced with filter I had. Than did pitch to rewire furance so fan ran all time and humidifier would run all the time. I said I paid for that thing to keep moistur in home not working. Asked cost he knew that quickly. Said not paying for something else that probably won't work. SO I PAY 49 FOR YOUR TECH TO WALK THROUGH BY DOOR TO HANDLE THE HUMIDIFIER ON MY FURANCE AND HE LOOKED LIKE A DEER CATCH IN HEADLIGHTS. Give me a break. The discount I got for this visit is not worth what I pay for on my contract.

A huge thank you to Rich J & Hoffman Bros. Rich arrived at 7:00am and worked to remove our old water heater and then masterfully installed 2 brand new 50 gallon units. The new installation resulted in Rich skillfully laying out new water lines, gas lines, and venting ductwork. The result was wonderful! The area now looks professional and extremely functional. We are very pleased with the results and will definitely use Hoffman Bros. again when needed.

Ethan was fabulous in fixing my built-in refrigerator. He needed a part and his boss, Matt immediately brought it over to complete the job in one afternoon. Dustin B from Hoffmann brothers was awesome! He was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. Dustin answered all my questions and walked me through our various options for repairs in our bathroom, as well as replacing our outdated water heater. He helped schedule our follow-up appointments before leaving, and we appreciate the peace of mind we have knowing our plumbing needs are in good hands.

Bob came on time and quickly corrected my problem. He also instructed me on changing my thermostat and changing the furnace filter. He gave excellent service and I would recommend him highly.

We contacted Hoffman Brothers because our tankless Water heater was leaking. Garret arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, and had everything wrapped up in short order with minimal expense. Great work!.

I had them install a new Carrier HVAC package unit. Their crew performed an efficient and complete installation and walk me through the operation of the new equipment afterwards. I am extremely pleased with the experience.
In 2016 your Project Manager Brian Bischof crawled under my house to find out what the situation was with my existing system that needed replacement. His effort found several deficiencies. A new system was installed, an additional duct run aded and others re-connected. Since then I've trusted Brian and Hoffman Brothers to install a mini-split system and the Carrier system installed today. I trust and choose Hoffman for all my HVAC work.

Hoffman Brothers provided quick and first rate service when my dryer’s timer broke with two loads of wet clothes. Carson was pleasant, knowledgeable and clearly explained the entire repair process. He’s a gem. I was so impressed with him and this company I signed up for their yearly HVAC service.

Matthew was a very friendly, respectful individual. He took his time to explain what the issues were with 3 appliances that we had him check for us (gas stove, upright freezer, and gas dryer). He also presented us with alternate solutions to our problems. Overall, a very pleasant experience!!!!

Carson was completely awesome. He fixed the drain on my dishwasher, And he also made the dishwasher door shut better by adjusting the front legs of the dishwasher. I really appreciate his help! And I will use Hoffman Brothers again!

I’m 100% sincere when I say this was the best repair experience we’ve ever had. Joseph was an absolute pleasure and went above and beyond to help us with our broken dryer. He walked us through all our options with expertise, honesty and zero pressure to upgrade. He was reassuring with our decision to upgrade and made sure we knew about every warranty and discount. He was patient while we made up our minds, put in extra work to reassure us that our vents were safe, and even moved the dryer to help the install crew. And, he was so cheerful - I was kind of sad when he had to leave. How often can you say that? Highly recommended; please give Joseph a raise.

Another great job! We purchased a new exhaust fan and light for our bathroom and had Hoffman Brothers install it. Had to increase the size of the opening but managed to contain the mess and left with it all in a plastic bag. Also gave me a great idea on a couple of other electrical issues we had.

Awesome experience with Hoffmann brothers. Austin is very knowledgeable and helpful today. Came to do what was needed for today and spent time helping me understand what needs to be done. He took time to be sure he don’t make a mess and clean up after himself and even put on shoe covers to keep from tracking stuff thru the house. 10 stars for sure!! Highly recommend!!

We had Austin for Hoffman Brothers come and asses our fridge and he was incredible. So helpful, so kind. He was very dedicated to trying his best to fix it and even helped us find an option if this was not working. 10/10 will be using again.

we had a fridge door that was breaking on a perfectly good fridge. called Hoffman short notice during the holiday and they showed up promptly the day after xmas. fixing the door turned out to be deceptively simple and they knocked almost half the cost off our diagnostic. our tech Ethan was friendly and professional. great experience.

Joseph is wonderful! What a fabulous person with a great vibe and attitude. He clearly knows his stuff and is quick and efficient at diagnosing the problem and determining the solution. I wish he could come for literally every repairs need in my home! :)
