Over the last several years had Matt do several jobs for me. Fairly priced and always professionally completed. Recommended Bioclean an enzyme based cleaner and put it in all my properties to keep my drains all clean and clear.

I wanted to take a brief moment and thank Fox Valley Plumbing for a resent install of my new tankless water heater. Matt was very kind to talk with me extensively about a tankless water heater after my water heater broke. I was very nervous because my in laws were coming to stay for the week. He offered me same day installation. Dave came over that day to install my new tankless. Dave was very professional and clean with the installing the tankless and removing my old water heater. It was a little more than we expected to spend but all the family having hot showers is so worth it. From now on Fox Valley plumbing will be doing all my plumbing and I will recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you once again from saving us from a disaster.

We are selling our home and needed to make sure all plumbing was up to code. We called Fox Valley Plumbing, they sent out a tech, he showed us what repairs we needed to do, he fixed all our issues the same day. The tech was very clean, professional, and did an outstanding job, the price was great. We will always call Fox Valley Plumbing for any future projects. And by the way, there was not one plumbing item listed on the home inspection report :) Thanks again.

Fox Valley Plumbing saved me the cost of an emergency call on my sump pump by walking me through what needed to be done on the phone. Excellent coaching and outstanding customer service. I will be using them for all of my plumbing needs going forward!

Matt is very responsive and turned around a quote for a kitchen sink plumbing estimate within a day. The job took a bit longer than anticipated but it was done professionally by Dave. The only downside was the 5% surcharge for paying by credit card rather than by check. Seems it should be the other way around. I will have FVP bid on my next project.

We hired Fox Valley Plumbing to do a backflow test. We were quoted $120 ($100 for the visit and $20 for the reporting). When they came out, they said there was a missing part, and they could not do the test, it would need to be repaired first. We were led to believe it was a fairly significant repair, and we were quoted $400, plus parts. In addition, he charged us for the initial visit of $100, and he was there about 30 minutes.

When he returned, the entire process took about 20 minutes. 10 minutes were to repair/install the missing part, and 10 minutes to then complete the test. I asked him about the cost and all he could say was that is what we agreed to and it was not up to him. The bill was $400 plus $27.03 for parts. We regretfully wrote the check, but we followed up with a phone call to the owner.

We explained the situation to the owner (Matt) and asked him for a partial refund since they had spent less than an hour total on our issue, yet charged us over $500, which is very well above any normal plumber rate. Again, he could not in any way justify the cost, other than to say we agreed to the contract and therefore had no recourse.

While I do not dispute we did in fact agree to the price, we were deliberately misled as to the nature of the repair. Had we been told, we have a small repair , it should only take a few minutes when we come back, but its going to cost you $400, we would have looked elsewhere. Instead, we were led to believe this was a major repair that would take a couple of hours. Based on that false information, we agreed to move forward. If the estimate was based on intentionally misleading information, it is no longer a valid estimate/contract.

I proposed to the company to refund us $227, which would mean they would still earn $300 for about 1 hours worth of work, and they did not even consider it.

I would stay away from them because this company is clearly unethical in its business practices and how it misleads customers.

I went into my basement to do a load of laundry and found that my sump pump had stopped and my basement was flooding. I called and Matt answered right away and said he would be here in about an hour. In the meantime, he had me troubleshoot and I got my sump pump going , but it would have to run continuously. He saved me money by replacing the switch and not the entire sump pump. I feel that others may have tried to insist upon replacing the sump pump. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Our landlord used him to replace the sump pump at our place and my husband thought he was a stand up guy. I had to call on Matt a couple of times in the past for estimates and he calls back right away - a very patient guy! I will be using him on my future plumbing needs and will recommend him to others.

I bought a fixer upper a couple of years ago, and I had it quoted by four different companies.

The quote included replacing galvanized with copper, new water heater install, new mud sink and drain, new hose spigot, and new cold/hot water lines for the bathroom. Of the four quotes, Fox Valley Plumbing & BackFlow Services was by far the best. The pricing was fair and easy to understand. The owner, Matt, is a no-nonsense guy, shares his knowledge willingly, communicates well, and works with you. Estimates are as detailed as you need them to be. Brenda keeps the backoffice running smoothly taking direction from Matt, coordinating schedules with the team, and made sure to communicate the details to me. Dave did most of the work at my house. He was quiet, respectable, showed up on time, worked hard to get the job done quickly, and answered questions as I had them. The following year, I had them back out to run an ice line to my refrigerator and move my stove's gas line. Most recently, Fox Valley Plumbing & BackFlow Services came out to my mom's to install a new water heater. Pricing was by far the best, and scheduling was super easy. Dave did a "neat" job, as my mom puts it, and my mom was very happy with the work.

I certainly have more plumbing work to go in my little fixer upper. I'm assured and have peace of mind knowing that I can trust in and easily call on my plumbing team at Fox Valley Plumbing & BackFlow Services.

After having an emergency call for a gas leak we called fox valley plumbing to come out and fix it. It was a bit more than we were expecting so I called the owner who said that the tech never left and worked diligently to fix the problem. We had multiple gas leaks and he fixed every one. The owner even said he appreciated me calling him and told me if we need help with anything else like electrical or plumbing to give him a call and he can recommend someone. We really appreciate them coming out so quick and getting it all done in one day so we could turn our water heater and furnace back on. Fyi I left a negative review originally but after talking to the owner directly changed it to a positive review so not sure if it will still show his response or not.

Call these guys first! I had a leak affect my garage ceiling on Sunday and called over 25 plumbers. Matt from Fox Valley is the only person who called me back. He also walked me through step by step to try and diagnose the issue to minimize the damage done by the leak. I had a few more questions along the way and he picked up the phone and helped me through every one of them. I’ll definitely be using these guys for all my plumbing needs. Their customer service is top notch!

They helped me out with some gas leaks at my home after another local plumber failed to find and fix all of the issues. I called after normal business hours and was still able to get a hold of the owner and he was out first thing the next morning. The repairs and re-piping were done quickly considering it was a pretty major project.

I have used Fox Valley Plumbing & Backflow on a couple of other minor issues and have been very satisfied. Customer service has been great, quickly return my calls and they thoroughly answered all of my questions and helped walk me through troubleshooting issues. Highly recommended.

The owner Matt came out to our house and looked at the issues we were having. I had some idea of what I wanted and he gave some suggestions as well. He was never pushy and gave us time to research what he was going to use to help solve our issues. He followed through on time with what he said he would do and that was greatly appreciated as well.
We went with Fox Valley Plumbing and Backflow services with the job. It was an all day job and we knew that going into this. They did what they said on time and in good order. I would recommend them for your plumbing needs and wants. Matt is an owner that understands ones needs, ethical, trustworthy, and is not pushy.

My Hot Water Heater died on Christmas day. I called Matt. I had a new hot water heater installed the next afternoon. A great job, professional workmanship, courteous and clean. Highly recommended.
