Our service technician was Michael. Very professional and friendly. I sent him pictures of the water heater that needed to be replaced and he came very prepared. . He was here maybe 2 hours and now we are up and running. Mary in the office was extremely pleasant and wasted no time on dispatching our technician. Jeff and the whole staff at J&R Herra, were Great they were able to come out quickly and diagnose the issue and get our homes Sewer system back up and running..
All there due diligence will help with us making the right decision on how to rectify a repair that will ward off any other mishap that may come down the road..
I suggested we do the sewer pipe repair being it’s clay tile with root issues but Jeff didn’t go for the kill and suggested we try some root resolver type route before tearing up the yard…

I have gotten residential plumbing and HVAC service from J&R Herra for years. As a company, they are super easy to work with (scheduling, appointments, etc.). They send you a text with information about your service technician as they are headed to your home (with picture, etc. which is a GREAT touch). Each technician has been an expert in their craft, and have been able to solve every problem we've ever had. I couldn't recommend them more highly!

Needed a minor repair to a water pipe with the addition of a shutoff value for an ice maker line. Work was completed in a satisfactory and timely manner. However, I felt the price of almost $500 to do this simple task was excessive for about 45 minutes work and $30-$40 in materials. I will look elsewhere next time, or at least get other bids. I just had to get this done in a relative hurry, so I bit the bullet this time!

We've used J&R for our properties in Batavia and I love working with this team. They troubleshoot well, communicate excellently, are personable, and always leave our tenants in a happier place.

We have used J&R Herra for two projects now. First, a whole new AC unit, and now, a new water heater. They are professional, prompt and affordable. The guys who installed our AC unit even came back the next day to fix something that wasn’t up to code to make sure it was perfect. And David, who did our water heater, was so fast and knowledgeable. You can count on and trust John and the entire JR Herra team! Marcus changed out all our powder room fixtures and as a part of that, had to move some of our pipes. He accomplished it all seamlessly and with great care. After having the work done for us, I confidently recommended them to our daughter and son-in-law who hired them to replace their furnace and AC that went out on the first cold day this fall. They too were impressed and very pleased with their work. I am now putting JR Herra on my speed dial for fast and reliable plumbing work.

What great service! I very rarely post ratings. However, with my recent experience, I felt I needed to. I called around lunch time stating that i have water leaking through my living ceiling from an upstairs bathroom. They where out within just a couple hours. About an hour after that, the job was done. Very reasonable pricing and extremely thorough. The technician Jeff was fantastic. Very personable, respectful and professional! I would recommend Jeff and J&R Herra to anyone.

We Haven’t Dealt with a Company This Great in Years!

We don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but this experience was worth it! Our outdoor faucet broke and didn’t have a separate shutoff valve, so we had to turn off the water to the whole house. We were in quite a bind.

When we called, the woman who answered was so friendly and helpful — within minutes, she had a plumber scheduled to come out. A few minutes later, we got a text introducing our plumber, David, who was already on his way.

David showed up quickly and was incredibly friendly and professional — the kind of person you instantly feel comfortable with. He did an excellent job replacing the faucet and even added a shutoff valve, routing it so we have easy access next time.

It was such a relief to work with kind, capable people who made the whole process simple and stress-free. Honestly, we haven’t dealt with a company this great in years. We highly recommend J&R Herra Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, and we’ll definitely call them again if we ever need more work done — and we’ll be asking for David!

Our tech Sebastian was excellent! He called when he was on his way, arrived promptly and put booties on over his shoes when entering the house. He found the issue quickly, explained the repair and got right to work. No mess was left behind and we would be more than happy to have him as our tech any time we need a repair done. We called after hours for immediate repair and the job was done within 2 hours of making the call. Couldn’t recommend Sebastian more!
