I called Mr. Rooter to help with a slow draining tub. The service was impeccable, from the ease of getting an appointment to the knowledge and professionalism of their staff, specifically Chris, who was very detailed and kind. A great experience from beginning to end - I am so thankful to have such a reliable service available to me. They have certainly earned my business for all of my future plumbing projects.

Cody was very prompt and knowledgeable. Gave me some insights and fixed my plumbing issue. Will use them Again!!

Gene S. and Brad T. had no idea what they would encounter when they came to our address in Kankakee! It was certainly a bigger job than any of us anticipated, however, they conquered it and left us with a new, clear line which we have not had since the purchase of this house several years ago. They were efficient and thorough, and we appreciate their diligence facing setbacks and new issues. The work they did is awesome, and we are more than pleased! Brad was fantastic. He was straight forward with what the issue was with our hot water heater and was able to fix it right away. The price was reasonable and when it comes time to replace the water heater I will definitely be calling them to do the job.

Chris did a great job evaluating and sharing camera views of our backed up sewer line in our house. He explained everything in easy and thorough terms, and when it was obvious that we had to have a portion of our sewer line replaced that was sagging, he and Adam did a great job getting it all done in one day. Recommend these guys highly!

I am extremely satisfied with the service I received from Gene Sexton at Mr Rooter Plumbing today. He and his colleague were on time and very knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and was very patient in explaining exactly what was going on with my sewer problem. They took care of my requested service and recommended what I would need to do in the future. I would definitely recommend them and use them in the future.

My recent experience with Mr Rooter was not a pleasant experience. A couple years ago I used their service and had the pleasure of meeting a very helpful technician who fixed my sump pump drainage leak in the front yard. The technician took a camera to see if there were blockages, pushed a rod through for any rocks or mud that might have been stopping the flow of water. He did such a great job I decided to call Mr Rooter back when my sump pump situation happened again. This time I got a “know it all tech” when asked if he could check for any blockages he told me no. He stated he didn’t have a camera that could fit down my. sump pump pipe in my front yard. Then saw I had a temporary drainage step up leading to the backyard. First thing he did was clipped it and said you can’t do that. When I told him I didn’t want it flooding my neighbors front yard he said “it's better this way.” Cause all “you’re” doing is pushing it to the back and it’s just coming back under your house. Mind you all this tech did was clip the hose spraying causing the water right into my front yard and my neighbors. Which was going right back under the house. The same method he’s trying to criticize me for doing. Then proceed to give me a quote for $7200. I declined the offer but the nerve of this “know it all” who has the balls to lie in my face after having a tech do the same thing I’m asking him to do today.

Cody just dropped off my Total Drain cleaner and he made sure I had no issues with anything. Such a caring pro! He is an outstanding young man!

He informed me of what I needed to know to make the best decision to resolve the issue and keep the cost down as much as possible. Their customer service representatives were also very professional, helpful, and informative. I would highly recommend this company to my family and friends.

We recently had a flood in our home and called Mr Rooter’s 24/7 emergency help. We needed immediate assistance to stop water spewing from a well pressure tank that broke in our home. Not only did Mr. Rooter’s emergency help line assure me they would send someone out within a half hour, the service professional who arrived within 20 minutes, Gene S, was truly a lifesaver. He quickly assessed our emergency and was able to stop the water. Although we had flooding, it could have been even worse. Gene was professional and quick to install a new tank. He was knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do. Gene got the job done, minimized our damage and provided helpful information. Gene, thanks for all your hard work. I would 100% recommend Mr. Rooter for any plumbing service.

My technician Brad was very thorough and courteous. He was on time and he went into my crawl space which was very spidery and full of webs. He also took a picture for me of another problem that I have with an air conditioning duct. He really didn't fix anything for me but suggested I empty my septic. Another age old problem was found that he said didn't need to be fixed right away. I was sent an estimate and i'm planning on getting it fixed in the future

Both toilets were clogged. I tried everything to clear them with no luck. I called a local plumber who told me to call my HOA or the village. I reached out to Mr. Rooter. They were friendly and professional from "hello". Brad came out right away, investigated possible issues. He provided a quote and went to work. He was neat, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Answered all of my questions. He brought me back to civilization. I have indoor plumbing again. He is my hero. If I or anyone i know ever has a plumbing problem again I know who to call. Mr Rooter.

I was able to get a next morning appointment,the price was fair. Gene was courteous,clean and efficient. I will use them again.

Gene Sexton came out within an hour of my call. He’s an experienced plumber and walked me through everything he was doing and what our clogged drain problem might be. He was thorough and went above and beyond to get to the root of our problem…which was roots in the pipes. After clearing it out, he tested all our drains, cleaned up, and recommended some products and strategies to avoid this problem. Great guy, personable, professional.

I was having recurring issues with my kitchen sink backing up so I called Mr Rooter. The tech was super nice and knowledgeable but the actual rodding out of my line was more than 2x what I paid my local plumber. The tech did give me a few tips to avoid recurring issues which may or may not work, but I will only consider this company again for larger jobs. For smaller jobs I would recommend going non-corporate
