I will never use Energy Stars again. Towards the end of last winter they had to come to our house 8-9 times in a row to fix an issue with our furnace, and after each visit they said it was fixed only for us to have to bring them out again. Every single time they came back out we were charged for another part or more labor, and when I asked why they didn't stand behind their work they didn't have an answer for that. Even after the technician left our home, the vents smelled like gas in between the heat running, but Eric assured us there was no issue. Fast forward to this year and the furnace went out again, and we hired a different company who told us that modifications had been made that were actually dangerous and could lead to a fire. In addition to this, Energy Stars had installed a mini-split for us just a couple of years ago with the back of the unit in our attic. It stopped heating and cooling efficiently, so I called them out and was quoted $1000 to refill the refrigerant as well as a "difficult access fee". I got a second opinion from another company and they tightened fittings and filled it with refrigerant without even charging me. This company is a joke and will over charge, nickel and dime, and still not even perform safe work, or work that they stand behind. Stay far away.

Technicians very qualified. Company serviced my ac and furnace before. Outstanding job. I highly recommend this company. I called up no problem heating and cooling st peters mo. I was told I needed a new ac and furnace. It’s would cost 11,000. I used Hoffman brothers to repair my furnace. Technician placed a water bottle in the furnace. A ticking sound was in the furnace. I called up energy star. I did not need a furnace. Number one company. Highly recommend.

This is a no nonsense business that gets the job done very professionally and efficiently!! The installers Deonte and Eric were absolutely amazing. These two are a true asset to to the company and their workmanship is exceptional!

Brad was the technician that came out to look at my boiler. He did a very thorough inspection and I trusted his diagnosis. I had a few other companies that said I needed it replaced but because he was honest I just needed a part replaced. I highly recommend doing business with this company that has integrity.

Energy Stars Heating and Cooling is great. Hunter came to my house quickly and on time for a quotation. He assessed my HVAC system and gave a recommendation to upgrade to a much more energy efficient system. Hunter answered my technical questions quickly, in detail, and accurately. The scheduling and arrival of the crew was quick and right on time. Deonte, Eric, and Robert were top-notch. They ran into a sheet metal duct sizing problem and Deonte hand crafted sheet metal on site to solve the problem. A++! Thank you!

The crew arrived on time and began working right away on both my furnace and air conditioning unit removal of the old units and replaced both units in a timely manner. Their work was professionalism at its finest. Before leaving they doubled checked everything then explained how to properly use the new thermostat plus explained the Warranty. Unlike other companies I called to see about having the work done I chose Energy Stars for, Energy Stars care about the customer not just the sale.

The sales rep was amazing in helping me pick out the best unit for me. The pricing was better then any of the other companies I got quotes. The installation crew was on time, very personal, the got the job done fast and left everything very clean.

The guys were professional and efficient. They took time to answer questions and show me how the new items were set up.

They were very accommodating. Even were able to come earlier than expected. I appreciate that they offer several ways to be able to take care of my financial needs. The technician was respectful and had 17 years of heating and cooling experience. I am on a maintenance plan that is very affordable for me since we are on fixed income. For a small monthly fee my service call today was included. So I paid nothing for today's call. Thank you Energy Stars.

We noticed a couple weeks ago that the ac wasn’t working. I called today because it is getting ready to heat up and to my surprise they got Logan out here today. He was quick to diagnose and had us up and going in no time. This company is amazing. They are the ones that got our units installed back in 2016 and have been taking care of us since. They’re always there when you need them. Thank you for everything.

Anyway, the gentleman who were here did an excellent job of taking care of all of my concerns, and as recommended by their coworker who was here the other day (Josh). They were very professional and very polite and I would definitely recommend your company, especially those who came to my home, to anyone who would need your services. Hannah is awesome and definitely went above and beyond!!! We were able to get 2 new hvac systems, a new water heater, insulation, and a bathroom fan at no cost all under the Ameren Energy Efficiency Program for my elderly grandmothers home. There can be a lot of moving parts to this program, so It takes awhile for Ameren to get the ball rolling but energy stars staff are the best team to have on your side doing this kind of project, and is definitely worth the wait. Keep up the top notch work and thankyou for all you do!

Needed some brakes and rotors saw that he was in my area used yelp message for a quote response time 40 minutes. It's been days , after dealing with similar business that practice no return or no show , took my car to dobbs .

This is too much money for me I am an older guy that has a bad lower back and
living on SS with a mortgage payment, I just can't do the lifting any more, all I need is lifting one TV off the fireplace and get the new one out of the box install
the legs and lift up onto the fireplace. I'm sure you do good work it is too rich for my blood, sorry to bother you.

Caleb was hired to put sealant on my mother's roof. I initially inquired about a roof replacement, but the price quoted was way higher than the average price. I asked about other options and sealant sounded like it would work. Again, the price quoted was higher than the average price listed on Google. Caleb was referred to me by someone I trust so I went ahead and hired him. The price should have been enough of a red flag. He said the job would take 2 days, but he and his "workers" finished within a few hours. Then he said he had to replace some of the wood which would add to the price. The amount seemed way too high. I ignored more red flags, which I now regret. Anyway, I paid him and he said to contact him if I had any issues and he would fix it free of charge. The job seemed to done well enough because there was no more leaking when it rained. I guess it just hadn't rained hard enough because about a month later there was a heavy downpour of rain and the leaking started again. Granted it didn't leak nearly as much as before, but for what was paid the work should have held up to where it didn't leak at all. I contacted Caleb, and he said he would come out either later that day or the next day. He never showed up. I contacted him again a few days later asking if he could come out. He said yes, but again he never showed up. I thought maybe he was going through something so I waited a couple weeks before contacting him again. This time I didn't get any type of response. The friend who referred him to me tried to contact him, but didn't hear back from him. It was then she told me her husband had stopped working with him because of a similar situation to mine. I tried to contact Caleb at a different number I was given for him, but never got an answer. I even left a voicemail, but received no reply. Unfortunately, I don't think there is anything else I can do. All I can say is I don't recommend hiring Caleb Jones.

Hands down the best experience with a mechanic in my 40 years of living. Caleb was nothing short of professional and had my breaks done in an hour while I sat comfortably in my home. He was patient as O'Reilly sold me the wrong breaks so I had to exchange them. Caleb was kind enough to wait while I went and got the right ones. I would recommend Jones and Family all day. Matter of fact I will be calling them for any and all car and home projects! Thanks again Caleb!

These guys were flipping awesome! Responsive, fast, accurate, and the price was on point! Loved my experience with them. They came to me, fixed me right up, made it very easy. I would highly recommend.

BEWARE
For context, this is the first negative review I have ever written. I am not one to write poor reviews, but our experience with this mechanic calls for me to warn others. My husband has been on the road traveling for work for a week. While in the area, he called Caleb for a brake replacement. Caleb did not assess the truck thoroughly, just simply changed the brakes. About 2 hours down the road, the engine in my husbands truck started to catch on fire. He called Caleb again to correct the issue. Caleb met my husband and did not take responsibility or ownership of the issue at hand. Although no work was done on my husbands truck, he charged $150 for labor, and confidently brought his pitbull out of the truck when asking for payment.
Caleb displayed a lack of communication, poor business skills, and most importantly - poor mechanic skills. He put my husband in DANGER and did not care at all. My husband had to call ANOTHER mechanic to come and fix what Caleb could not do.
This is your fair warning- DO NOT USE THIS "BUSINESS".
