Excellent service. Our tech was courteous and knowledgeable. Service was completed under our home warranty - we paid a service charge, which was reasonable.

IF YOU HAVE A HOME WARRANTY, DON'T USE ACTION MECHANICAL SERVICES, THEY ARE WORTHLESS!

I was required to use this company through my home warranty. This company did not show up for 3 days after placing my request for AC unit going out after making lab clanking noises and Loud humming. When Jeremy showed up he stated that he just needed to change the filter and spray off the AC unit and when he flipped the switch on it came back on. Both my neighbor and myself let Jeremy know there was more wrong with the machine than just that he stated there was nothing he could do the AC unit turned on and that his scans all turned out fine. I asked him at that time what if this does not work or it stops working again ? His response was call back to the office and the boss will come out and take care of it . It took over 12 hours to get the house down to 72° finally when I woke up in the morning it was down to where it needed to be. As the day went on the AC unit did not hold temp. It continued to climb I attributed it to the fact that we were having 100° days and I didn't say anything at that point. When I woke up the next morning it had not cooled down it was 77° and was set at 72 °. I called back up let them know they needed to send somebody out because it was not working again I explained the situation again to Lexie in the office telling her I had health issues and I needed the air conditioner fixed that afternoon. She said the earliest she could get somebody there would be in 4 more days. I told her that was unacceptable and after much back and forth she finally agreed to send somebody 3 days later. The boss did not come out instead Jeremy came back out. Well Jeremy was here he ran scans again and finally came to the conclusion that it was the fan motor which we had suggested all along. He stated he didn't have one on his truck it would have to be ordered to be delivered to the office the next day. He said that they would send somebody out the next day as soon as it was delivered. I waited until 11:00 the next morning still with no response from anybody. I called back spoke with Lexie again and she questioned whether Jeremy said that he was planning on coming out to repair it that day and I said no that you guys were ordering the parts and we're going to send somebody as soon as it was delivered that day. Her response was " if we have the part in stock I can't get anybody out there until the 8th". Mind you that's 10 more days I would be waiting for a grand total of 20 days that's if they had the party in like Jeremy said it was going to be in. This is totally unacceptable service. They weren't honest they weren't compassionate they had very poor service.

I called it my home warranty service to file a complaint and they sent somebody else out immediately that day. When WHC of St Louis got to my house that afternoon it took him less than 2 hours to diagnose the problem,find the part, and replace it.

Excellent work, I appreciate Nick and Josh with installation of my new HVAC system to my home, and giving me a quick run through of the new system.

Had a leak in my bathroom that worked its way to the basement. Josh showed up to take care of the job and was a true professional from start to finish. Highly recommend.

Well we had a leaking plumbing pipe from the bathroom sink and this repair was great. Couldn’t have asked for better. Was very happy
We called them back to have a water line for the refrigerator replaced. And today find it has been leaking since install and we now have water damages. Tried to call company to minimize this and they are not responding.

Very friendly and knowledgeable installers. And very courteous too.
But the parts and service that I had to pay out-of- pocket after the home warranty seemed way out of line.

Josh W not only got the job done effectively but with speed. I was absolutely impressed with his customer service! I will be referring him to family and friends.

Adin and Josh came out to save the day for my household!!!! We had a few bad gas leaking and our water heater was leaking. They came out fixed all the problems and finished in a timely manner. They explained the process very well and did a walkthrough of what was completed. I am so grateful and happy!!!!

Highly, highly recommend Action Mechanical Services, mainly due to Josh. Josh was professional and I could not have asked for a better experience with him. No one wants to deal with these problems but he made it much less stressful. I cannot say enough good things about him and how fair the company is with their services.

Action Mechanical was dispatched thru the Home Warranty Service. The gentleman was rude and disrespectful. Ever since that experience, the homeowner has been afraid to hire them and suffers from panic attacks. Thanks for clarity on the expansion tank. Sadly, it appears your industry has added product that doesn't last as long. Former water heaters did not need 'expansion tanks'. Also, please be polite to your customers, please be genuine, explain what the homeowner should expect from you and what your work will look like. You shouldn't ask for money upfront when the customer has no idea what to expect. Buyer Beware. Many people are not aware of the scrutiny from this company. Also, the homeowner phones your company and only gets a voicemail with no return call.

Nick was absolutely amazing. He helped me save money by making a purchasing suggestion and he adjusted his schedule to make sure he assisted me. He was helpful and reasonable!

Company responded to a service ticket from a home warranty company.
Installed the wrong cartridge in my shower - shower's been leaking the whole time since.
Unable to fix a standing shower shower handle/shower head.
"Technicians" smelled like weed when they came in to "finish" the job after their lunch break.
Left trash, parts laying out in the bathroom.

If I could give them a negative star rating I would. They called and made an appointment which I went thru my home warranty company. They lied and said they called today, which they did not. They cancelled after giving me a window time of 10-2. They called me BEFORE 10 to cancel because "no one answered" their call that they did not make. When I set up the appointment she said they can't guarantee 10 but that was the window. The owner said "oh no" very statistic when I said I was going to call the home warranty company. Very unprofessional and RUDE company.

Joshua did an outstanding job replacing a 29 year old, 50 gal gas water heater. Very knowledgeable and professional installation. Almost a work of art! Also clearly explained all itemized work and tailored recommendations to consider. Highly recommend their services any day!

I had an awesome experience, Jeremy U came out and got right to work. I showed him where the sump pump was, explained what the issue was and that I unplugged it a week prior, he plugged it in and was able to determine that it needed to be replaced. He went out to his truck and got one, installed it in no time at all…all while I stood there asking him questions and him patiently answering - including general plumbing questions that had nothing to do with the sump pump. I have just gotten my house a couple of months ago so yes, I had tons of questions!
This was under a home warranty plan so I only paid the service fee to warranty company so I cannot attest to price but as far as security - I was sent a text by the company informing me who would be coming along with a photo of the service person and then another one when they were on the way.
Just an all-around great experience!

I had called my home warranty about my water heater not working. That same day action mechanical services called and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Jeremy was supper helpful and friendly! He was able to get my water heater back up and running.

The Action Mechanical Services team was fantastic, couldn't be happier with the service. They arrived on time, were incredibly professional, and their workmanship was top-notch. They took the time to explain the installation process and answer all my questions (Replacement Water Heater). Plus, they were so gentle and friendly with our cats, which was a huge plus! I highly recommend them for their excellent work and genuine kindness.

This is the second thing I have had them fix. I highly recommend them. Jeremy did a great job on the first time & this time. He knows his stuff. This time he had a partner to help him, Josh. Definitely will be using them again.
