Naperville Chimney Services were great. They fixed a broken damper string and assessed our chimney. They gave us an honest analysis and didn’t try to upsell us on unnecessary services. They also gave us a few tips on fire safety, which we appreciate. We would definitely recommend them to others.

Aeden explained everything he was doing, welcomed me to watch the chimney inspection camera in action, and kept everything around the fireplace protected and cleaned. He was very thorough, and answered all questions I had. He even gave many helpful tips related to fire safety. I would recommend this company.

I utilized this company's services in 2024, largely due to my respect and high regard for the Naperville Fire Department, whose involvement factored into my decision. The work performed was satisfactory, and the overall process went smoothly. However, I found the cost to be on the higher side.

The service includes a lifetime warranty, contingent upon the completion of an annual inspection, which is priced at $250—even though an inspection service is listed online at $69. While I understand this is part of their business model and accept the terms, my concern lies with their communication practices.

Although the company sends annual reminders, those reminders fail to clearly state that failing to schedule the inspection with them will void the warranty. I made a reasonable request for them to either:

Schedule me automatically for the annual inspection on a preferred date each year, or

Add a simple note to their reminder email stating, “To maintain the lifetime warranty, an annual inspection must be scheduled with us.”

Unfortunately, the representative repeatedly declined, citing that this requirement was stated in the contract and communicated verbally at the time of service. My request was not to alter the terms, but simply to help ensure clarity and continuity.

As someone juggling many responsibilities—and growing older—I believe a small, customer-friendly addition like this could make a meaningful difference. Is it truly too much to ask for?

The call ended with us agreeing to disagree. I hope that someone in management reviews this feedback and considers making small improvements to enhance customer experience.

We recently had our fireplace relined and some additional work performed. Naperville Chimney Services did an excellent job of not only performing the work but also excellent communication throughout the process. We have been a customer for years for annual cleanings and inspections and we are very happy that we used them for the relining of our 50 year old fireplace. We feel confident in the work and look forward to using our fireplace safely for many years ahead.

Attention to detail was incredible. I have been using another service since 1995, but after stumbling upon Naperville Chimney on Facebook and minding their posts of training, safety, thoroughness with modern technology and tools. I called for an estimate of typical services. Perhaps I should not say this, but I expected to hear double the estimate! I expected a final report of similar to the previous cleanings; I was shocked to see first-hand the camera views showing multiple issues that need to address before next season. It was cute having my previous Sweeps show-up in long duster coats and wearing stovepipe hats, but it's clear NCS are professionals and reasonably priced.

We used Naperville Chimney Services for pressure washing & weatherproofing after deciding their chimney repair quote was too expensive.

Pros:
• Clear online communication and friendly technicians
• Professional email receipts with photos

Cons:
• Technician tried to skip pressure washing, saying “we like to keep some algae on there as a barrier” ….really?
• Had to show their own email to confirm pressure washing was included
• Only ~60 minutes of total work but charged $900 labor + ~$240 materials (equates to $450/hr/each for two workers)

Overall: Good communication, but overpriced for the amount of work. A general contractor may be a better choice for waterproofing.

Jason just finished up hovering my vents (including dryer) and did a fantastic job. Clearly told me what to expect and showed me pictures afterwards. So worth getting it done. My house just “feels” cleaner now those vents have been addressed. Will be using them again.

Robbie and Jason couldn’t have been more knowledgeable, helpful or solution oriented. They were at my house for 11 hours straight working to seal my super old and complicated hvac system. They both took the time to not only help me find a solution but made sure I understood what was happening every step of the way. Would recommend them to anyone! Thank you Robbie and Jason!!!

The machine to do the duct cleaning is so massive that it’s in a trailer!! It’s too big to bring in the house like some other machines I heard of. The guys that do the duct cleaning also do Aeroseal. It seals the ducts from the inside. Great company. Great product. Great service. Great guys. I’d recommend them to anyone!!

Had our duct’s cleaned and AeroSeal applied! Wow! What a difference! The team that came out and did the work was amazing! I was referred to this service by my amazing inspector Joe K. with Insight Property Services and could not have been happier with the results. I recently purchased a home built in 1964, and was told the ducts had just been cleaned. The basement was an ice box while the middle of the home was warm and the rooms upstairs were all different temps. Joe St. Pierre and the team from Aeroseal spent the better part of a full day in my basement understanding, cleaning, pressurizing, depressurizing, identifying leaks and then finally using the Aeroseal product to fill all the voids inside the ducts of my HVAC system.
within 1 day there was a measurable noticeable difference in the performance of my HVAC system and all of the rooms in the house including the basement are all the same temp! could not be happier with Joe St. Pierre and the whole experience.

We hired Clean Air Pro to both clean the ducts at our house and to apply the sealant to the inside of the ducts. Their technicians were very courteous and cleaned up after they were finished. The results were unbelievable. Without the air loss seeping out of the ducts, we now had air flow coming out of the vents that we never experienced before. My kids thought there was a ghost in the house because all of a sudden, curtains were being moved by the stronger air flow! Highly recommended.

I highly recommend Clean Air Pro! A few weeks ago we had the duct cleaning service, and yesterday Robbie and Jason (really good guys) were here applying the Aeroseal. The whole experience has been first class in every way. They are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, communicative, polite, responsive, clean and careful. They provided regular updates during the entire time they were here and a comprehensive summary at the end. Turns out we were leaking 33% (!!) of the air flow and they sealed this in just a few hours. As I see from other comments it was IMMEDIATELY very noticeable that evening, with air flowing through upstairs vents where it had not even been noticeable previously. It's no accident that Nicor are supporting them with rebates and incentives.
