The other company quoted me $12-$15K for a new unit, which seemed excessive considering the original issue was not a fundamental problem with the system. I sought a second opinion and asked friends for local recommendations, leading me to Always Ready Repair. In contrast to my previous experience, they promptly responded to an after-hours request, offered guidance on potential outcomes, and scheduled a visit for the following day. Josh, my technician, was exceptional – friendly, punctual, efficient, and incredibly helpful. Upon inspection, it became clear that my units are old and may need replacement soon. The problem was not with the refrigerant but rather a blown capacitor that could be easily fixed. The difference in service quality is striking, and I'm grateful for Always Ready Repair's attention to detail and expertise. I'll definitely purchase new units from them next season, as their work has far exceeded my expectations.
