Rick and his son are the best. Kind, honest and hard working. I never feel like I'm being taken advantage of, which is common in this line of work. They always are up front with me about what needs to be done.

They charge using an hourly rate not a cheap visit charge and the upsell you.
They were quick and thorough.

Called to have a leaked repaired. The owner sent his son out who told me it was a small job with 1 hour of Labor which is $220 per hour and a part that he needed to pick up. The son said the part is about $7
The son came back with the father and the spent about 30 min connecting the part. Time between the 2 visits I would say in total it was about 1 hour and 20 min.
How did you present me with a bill over $1,000!
The owner was not willing to negotiate even though his son was the one that gave the quote. I was willing to pay $500 but not $1,000 for a job you son told me was A SMALL JOB.
The owner had the never to ask me to pay him for the labor after he went upstairs and took his parts out of my bathroom.
I would never call this place again and would not recommend this business.

Leto Plumbing & Heating is the only company I use for my plumbing and HVAC needs. I've been using them for over 10 years. Hands down they are experts their field, easy to work with and do quality work.

I would not allow this man into your home. We had a very unfortunate situation this morning with him and his son and he showed quite a temper. The first visit, his son was very pleasant and did some of the job he informed us the cost would be $220 and another $7 for a part he needed to order and would bring back the next day to finish the job. All was well. The next day, his father came with him and they together finished the work. Once they were finished, his father told us the total would be $900! We were shocked! We let the father know that his son told us $220 plus the part. When the son came downstairs the father confronted him and the son indeed told his father it was $220 for the hour, which would have been fine we would have paid for the 2 hrs they were here, but this still would have been around $500 so how did we possibly arrive at the final cost of $900 plus?! We informed them we weren’t going to pay that! Instead of trying to negotiate. The father was firm on the price! He insisted that the price of the parts were over $700 and told his son to remove all the work they’d done. Things became heated between the man and my mother and she asked him not to go upstairs to her room where half of the work was and he told her “TRY AND STOP ME!” And started quickly walking up our stairs! They removed the work within 5 minutes and were out of our home in 10 minutes. Interesting how $900 of work can be taken out in 5 minutes. Then before he left he looked at us and said “you’re not going to pay my son for the labor?” And we said absolutely not! You just took everything down, so why would we pay anything? It was a terrible experience. I don’t think they are bad people, there was poor communication between us and my real issue is with how they went about resolving it. Save yourself the stress and find a different company to resolve your plumbing and heating issues.

I know Rick on a personal level and anytime I call him to get anything done around my house. He is more than accommodating, fair, courteous and his prices are outstanding. Work ethics is unheard of and his workmanship is outstanding to the point.

I have never called him back to do the job twice. I read the last few reviews and it is sad to say that some people who have personal issues with Rick not even his tenants, come to his business's site and reviews on Google maps to speak so untrue of him and damage his character.

As far as knowing Rick and his family for years, he is the best plumber I have used and not of these allegations are true. He is nothing but a nice landlord who has not gotten paid since March 2020 and when he spoke to his tenants and NOT (George and Sam Becker) who are not the residing tenants, came to his business's site to tarnish his reputation.

My review is about Leto Plumbing and the work that was performed, not about Rick as a person. I know Rick as personal too and he is a fantastic guy and hiring him for any plumbing job is not something you will look back on. You will re-hire him and refer him too. Leto Plumbing is awesome, does quality work PERIOD
