Reviews of local pros in Plainfield, Illinois

ATI Construction does amazing work! I’ve had 3 Bathrooms, Kitchen, Family Room, Foyer and Basement remodeled with ATI Construction. I have and will continue to highly recommend them for any construction work you want done! Excellent company!

ATI construction has been amazing. They have remodeled two of our homes. They’ve renovated entire floors, remodeled laundry rooms, installed flooring, and have delivered quality service every step of the way. I couldn’t be more pleased. Their communication, quality of work, and attention to detail are unmatched. They will be the first people we contact when we move into our new home and begin remodeling.

In 2017, Tony Russo and ATI Construction built our custom dream home. ATI supported us every step of the way to create a beautiful house with the highest quality of craftsmanship. We were satisfied when we moved in and are still satisfied today.

In February of this year, 2023, ATI finished our basement. As before, they did an outstanding job. Our basement is an extension of our existing home, and we could not be happier with how the project turned out.

We offer our highest recommendation for Tony Russo and ATI construction. Tony demonstrates time and again that his skillful work and meticulous attention to detail meet or exceed our expectations. He and his employees are respectful, communicative, and professional. But above all, we recommend Tony because he is trustworthy and operates with the highest level of integrity. He has made our vision for our home a reality and we will continue to work with them on future projects.

Updating this review to share my praise on the second project we did with ATI: ATI remodeled our entire upstairs and we are beyond thrilled with it (our house was built in the '90s, and we hadn't done a thing to it). The quality of their work is outstanding, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. Their pricing is transparent, and we always felt well-informed about the costs involved.
The design process was thoughtful and catered to our needs, making the entire remodel both functional and beautiful. ATI truly understands how to transform a space, and their team was professional and courteous throughout the project. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any future renovations. We simply cannot say enough good things about ATI.
###
What an amazing experience we had with ATI for our complete first floor remodel - new floors, new kitchen, wall removal, etc. Tony is extremely knowledgeable, professional, fair, and responsive. Tom and Jose managed the crew perfectly and treated our home as if it was their own. We really miss seeing these guys - when was the last time you said that when someone worked in your home? Every supplier Tony had us work with had excellent ideas, were friendly and professional, and were super responsive and helpful. Pricing was fair, well explained, with no surprises. You truly cannot go wrong with this terrific company. We can’t wait to work with them again when we remodel the upstairs. ATI is the best!

We can't say enough about our incredible experience with Tony and ATI Construction. Tony transformed our home into a true oasis, elevating not just a space—but our entire living experience.

The craftsmanship exceeded our expectations, and the customer service was equally outstanding. Tony walked us through every detail, offering multiple options to help us bring our dream vision to life. He was patient, informative, and always available to answer our many questions.

This is top-tier craftsmanship built to last a lifetime. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the results—and the photos speak for themselves.

I wish I could give 10 stars because ATI deserves the highest of praise! We had such an incredible experience with ATI! We hired them to finish our basement and they exceeded all of our expectations. First, the team is amazing. They were incredibly professional, accommodating, friendly, and reliable. This was a 4-month project and I can honestly say we were a little sad to see them go once it was done! Not only did they do excellent work, but the way they showed up each morning at 7 am and warmly interacted with our kids spoke volumes to their character. Our kids (2 and 4 yrs old) still ask about Mr. Tony and Mr. John.

As far as the work they did, to say we are thrilled would be an understatement. They took a completely unfinished basement and transformed it into an awesome entertainment area, full bath, floors, tile, guest bedroom, bar, and gym, as well as a kids play zone. The work was meticulous! They offered opinions where we needed help deciding on finishes and options, and their counsel was invaluable. They made all of our dreams and visions come to life.

We are already planning our next project with ATI And are looking forward to many more in the future! If you have a home renovation project, you will be so happy you chose ATI!

Working with ATI on this labor of love has been incredible. They are extremely thoughtful from helping to develop a custom floorplan that considers all our wants, to navigating an extremely efficient and effective timeline for contractors. These guys were very warm, kind and professional while in our home. I have had construction projects in homes in the past, but this experience was the least intrusive of them all and the most considerate of our needs while living in the space through the project duration. We will absolutely use ATI for any future endeavors.

tristan did my entire basement 3 years ago and it is wonderful! he is very professional and smart.

These guys make BEAUTIFUL spaces! They are very detail oriented, polite and personable, and have great suggestions when you just can't decide on materials. They have created an entire addition to our house on our lower level putting in a kitchen, bathroom, floors, ceilings, and got creative when i asked them to modify antique furniture into the project. They did such a nice job on that project that we asked them back to re-do our front porch. They also do odd projects like fixing doors and windows, drawers, and hanging paintings. Great guys. Their experience and quality is beyond their years.

I simply called asking for a quote and spoke to Mike from the second I called he was rude. 1st impressions are everything if you're going to treat someone that way when you're trying to make a good impression how much respect are you going to give people an uncomfortable situation.

Mike Donelson provided high quality work on several remodel jobs. He is timely, honest and stands behind his work. I will be scheduling more work in the near future with Mike.

We waited over 10 years to redo our bathrooms as we never found a company we felt that we could trust until Donelson construction was recommended to us.
Mike is personable professional and gives you a sense of trust. He listens to what you want offers you ideal solutions and suggestions and sends high quality workers to complete your dream bathroom.
Ernesto helped us select the perfect color paint and Matt recommended solutions to our lighting problems. Matt Mitch and Ernesto provided high quality work.
We would use Donelsons over and over again as they are trustworthy professional and reasonable in price. We can't thank them enough for our beautiful bathrooms.

We are so happy with the work we got done! Mike is a really nice guy who does great and honest business. We heard about him through family that had work done on their home through Donelson Construction. Our new wood floors and stairs are gorgeous, and the trim and paint look amazing! Mike took care of everything we asked for!

Mike and his crew remodeled much of our home in a timely schedule and quality work with many asks from us as homeowners. We highly recomend Donelson Construction.

Mike was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He and his team worked hard and consistently and met their deadline on our kitchen and bath remodel. High quality work, kindness and flexibility were all marks of working with Donelson Construction. Highly recommended!

Mike and his crew were timely, responsive and have great attention to detail. Highly recommend.

Mike was on time and delivered exactly what we were looking for. He was very easy to work with and we will be using him for our next project. I highly recommend him and his company for any home improvements.

Kitchen remodel & addition. Project went smoothly for the most part with just a few minor hiccups that Elliot & team resolved. Elliot was a great project manager. Love our finished project!

We worked with Tranquility on a master bath remodel and are thrilled with the results. They were collaborative and communicated effectively along the way. You cannot go wrong using them for your project.

Tranquillity Builders has done everything for me from finishing my basement to complete refinishing of my hardwood floors. They have corrected concrete problems in my garage, installed a whole house, dual zone HVAC, replaced plumbing fixtures, installed exhaust fans in my master bath and have even shown up to replace outdoor exhaust vents in the middle of the day when I struggled to do so by myself. I could not feel more blessed to have happened upon this incredibly professional and reliable family business. I have worked with Bev, Jim and their sons for years now. Their commitment to your satisfaction and level of detail are unparalleled compared to any builder I have encountered before. Call them. You will not be disappointed.

Tranquility remodeled our whole 1st floor taking down walls, enlarging doorways to give us a larger kitchen and a better footprint! The whole team was very knowledgeable and helped with suggestions and changes along the way. We couldn’t be happier with the finished results. Thanks Tranquility for a great job!!!
