Not all of the technicians are honest. I had one come out and tell me my compressor was on its last legs, that it wouldn't be worth it to add freon, etc. Should get a new unit, I paid $90 for that. Had another HVAC guy come out, said Compressor fine, recharged unit, and it's been fine.

As always, I am very please with the service from Bloomingdale. They are professional and knowledgeable. The tech that came out was very courteous and was able to fix our problem and make some suggestions to help avoid problems moving forward. I’ve used Bloomingdale for about 25 years and I have recommended them to family and friends. Definitely the best of the best....

There service was top notch Anthony the owner really cares about you making the right decision on what your home needs,,and there is no up selling. I bought a furnace ,ac, and humidifier the day of the instal the guys laid down cardboard and drop cloths and worked hard very nice installers,,,5 stars for them too. When done they cleaned everything and did an awsome job. No hack job here. They are pros ,, I will never use anyone else but them in the future. Thank you Bloomingdale heating and air.

Good value for the price. Installed almost the next day. Installed in the time promised to minimize time without heat. No noticeable disruption of my normal activities during installation. To avoid letting my pets escape, installers were careful about open doors as they went in and out.

Anthony went well above and beyond assisting when he had no reason or obligation to do so. He was extremely knowledgeable, was able to explain in simple terms what the likely issues were, and assist in getting my heat back on. It was a time sensitive matter for me as I had a sick parrot who needed the heat to be running. Without any knowledge of the situation, he was very prompt and we had the system running in no time. The owner spent a lot of time on the phone with my husband in order to ascertain the problem. Mr. Piraino thought the problem might be solved without paying for a service call. We appreciate his willingness in helping us keep costs down. When it was determined we needed the call the servicemen were polite, clean and efficient. My air conditioner stopped working, it was very hot. They showed up within 2 hours! Joey gave me different options and was able to fix it. Their response time was so impressive. They definitely won my loyalty.

I am extremely happy with Bloomingdale Heating & Air!!! After battling with another company for several weeks to get my HVAC replaced they came out the following day after I first called them to give me a quote. I was happy with the technicians the day of installation. They made sure I was happy with they way they removed the old and brought in the new HVAC. I am most of all with Peter Wakely!! He even called me back today, 3 days after it was installed to make sure everything was working properly and to see if I had any questions. I would highly recommend Bloomingdale Heating & Air!!

We have had 2 occasions now when we were to receive a quote from Bloomingdale Heating and Air Conditioning after inspection/repair and never received it. I even followed up with a phone call each time and had to leave a message but never received even a call back let alone a quote.

When they came out this last time they deemed our AC as not fixable and we needed a replacement. We waited for quote and weather was extremely hot a humid and never heard back at all. We ended up reaching out to another company which was on it right away.

I recently had another company come out for a clean and check on my furnace. I explained to him the problem I was starting to experience. Without doing any diagnostics he states because of the age of the furnace it's going to be a $900 repair became the control panel is going out since it's so old I should buy a new furnace. I spoke to Anthony from Bloomindale heating and cooling and he came out and a thorough diagnostics and cleaning and explained to me the other possible causes. I am very happy to say my heater has been working properly since Anthony came out and cleaned it out properly . They will be my go to guys for now on Bravo! On your customer care!

I'm very happy with these guys. It started with quick and easy no-nonsense discussion with sales to find the right product for us. And then it was scheduled to be installed the next day. The technician was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He took his time to answer the questions I had and left the work area clean. I will definitely be calling them again!

When I called for someone to come out they told me there was a service charge of $89.00 for someone to come out and diagnose the problem plus parts and labor if they fix the problem. I went ahead and scheduled. So the guy shows up and looks like a kid fresh out of high school. He goes out and looks at my a/c unit and comes back 15min later saying it was the disconnect box wire was burnt causing the compressor to go bad and that I needed a new unit. He then said he was going to call his boss and would be back. He was sitting in his car for about 20min b4 he came back and ask me to speak with Peter and that he would be sending me a proposal for a new unit. I was on the phone with Peter for about 15min. Once we hang up he gives me a bill for $250.00 saying he was here over an hr. This company is such a rip off cause not only do they charge u for calls they make to there bosses they charge u to talk to someone from there company asking you questions so that they can sell u a new unit! Ridiculous!!!He actually worked on my unit 15min but he said he was here an hr so had to get paid for his time! Oh and his Diagnose of me needed a new unit was also incorrect. I called another company (thank God) and they fixed it within half an hr and was charged $325 for the total repair. But then again what should you expect when someone shows up at yr door looking like a teenage kid, what experience are you going to have! Will never use this company again and I suggest you shouldn’t either if u dnt want to throw your money in the garbage!!

From start to finish this company has been very professional. Chris the technician called When he was on his way. He wore his mask and booties inside the house. Found the issue right away and was able to get it installed the same day.

As a business owner myself, I was very impressed from start to finish. Good job guys!

If I can give them no stars I would! This company is horrible to deal with. Don't let all the commercials and fluff fool you. They dont care about their customers. Had a scheduled appointment for a new furnace and air conditioner install and 12 hours later I am extremely disappointed with the installation this company did on my furnace. After the first attempt, It looked like an amateur job with mangled duct work and tons of silicone to patch holes and leaks. It is an extremely disappointing experience after paying a lot of money for a new furnace with the expectation of a professional job. On top of the installation, they installed a less expensive humidifier and didn’t notify me of the change and apply the difference in cost. They also installed the PVC water drain about ¼” from the hot air pipe. To top it off, they couldn't tell me if the work they did is fully compliant with Local building codes. This should be a simple question to answer if you are installing systems in the region.

But wait, the story gets worse from here. When I turned my AC on for the first time this year, there was a loud "wind tunnel sound". I had to call them out again and they found the filter tray wasn't sealed. This seems like a simple and necessary thing to check during the installation.
This company is not what they set themselves out to be. They are very rude and careless. Stay Away!!

I used Bloomingdale heating and Air, End of July to install furnace, AC and thermostat, recommended by my neighbor while I already talked to 2 other contractors. They divided the quote in 3 tiers, mention all the available rebates and help choose what fits us. I checked with my neighbor, research in the Lennox site and went with best option suggested. Confident installers, took time to answers my question, discussed with me what they would do and why, explain the plan before starting, even added extra damper I requested while they are installing, cleaned after done. Very pleased from start to end, easy people to work with. Looking forward to working with this team in future.

28 July 2015: AC and Heater installed.
01June 2020: AC was not working. Called up Bloomingdale Heating. Great service. 4 lbs refrigerant used and sealant.
07 June 2021: AC service done. still leaking. 2 lbs refrigerant and sealant used. 2nd time sealant used without leak testing.
13 July 2021: icomfort thermostat (installed 2015) replaced with Honeywell T4 Pro (not WIFI). charged $395. Appreciate the leak check but not a nitrogen/dye test after requesting today. Not a good experience. Requested to schedule nitrogen/dye test.
2022 and current: did not see any leaking issue. not sure how this is fixed. did not need any more refrigerant. I will keep 5 star rating as I don't have any complain.

I've been a homeowner for years and have had my share of contractors good and bad and want to say I wish all could be like Bloomingdale Heating!!!! I chose them after having five large and small well named heating contractors bid on a new furnace & air system for my house and I couldn't be happier. Anthony is not only knowledgeable and personable he honestly cares that you have the proper product installed in your home. He went the extra mile the others didn't and took time to explain all options completely. He really did help guide me in making a smart decision for my home. I also want to add prior to my actual install my air went out on a very hot weekend. Anthony came out and took care of it personally to make sure my family wasn't in harms way and did not charge for it. His installers were on-time, very well organized, experienced and professional. Lee was the first to arrive, I was told they call him Hazel because he cleans things constantly as he works which is very true. He described how everything would flow and it went off like clockwork. Chris was great on explaining functions of new thermostat and the system. I noticed how meticulous he was as he sealed seams on the duct work. He also made sure it was running smoothly and efficiently. All this was followed up by Anthony calling later to ensure everything was perfect and that I was completely satisfied.
Other contractors would be very wise to take a page from the way they operate.

Our furnace fan kept turning on and off but no heat was being produced and of course it happens on a Saturday morning. We called and they gave us a window of 12:30 - 2:00. The guy showed up at 12:20 and fixed our problem in ten minutes. He was very nice and professional. He even wore shoe coverings in the house. It was a great experience and will definitely use this company again.

I used Bloomingdale Heating and Air to service an existing air conditioner and ultimately replace it! Everyone I interacted with was responsive and friendly. As a new homeowner, I especially appreciated the time spent educating me on options to make sure I felt confident in my purchase. In addition to great customer service, the pricing was competitive compared to other quotes I received. I will continue to use Bloomingdale Heating and Air for future HVAC needs.

We were treated with prompt service and very nice technicians. They called to let us know how soon they would be on site. They cover all the stairs and floors with clean drop cloths they worn protective booties over there shoes. They were friends and professional. Angel and Juan did a awesome job ever Gowan’s clean up and remove promptly. The owner Anthony called to see how everything went and thanked us for calling his. Business. We used them about ten years ago and twenty years ago. They have done seven of our friends homes and twelve family members homes we highly recommend them. The are reasonably priced with great people
