Esteban arrived on time and did a great job taking care of our older HVAC system. He went the extra mile to help with thermostat and humidifier issues. I have always been happy with Ragano's responsiveness and service.

This review is long overdue. There are actually three separate instances where Ragano has provided us with excellent service at a reasonable price.
1) Recently (third week of September 2025), there was an on-and-off water leak in the ceiling from the condo above us where the water finally made a hole in the ceiling drywall. Unfortunately, the ductwork and plenum attached to the top of the furnace were in the way of a plumber being able to fix the leak and a taper to eventually fix the ceiling drywall. We contacted Ragano by e-mail and phone on an early Sunday evening and they were out the next day to disassemble the ductwork and plenum so that we could get a plumber before the leak could become catastrophic. After the leak was fixed and the drywall repaired, Ragano came back in a timely manner to re-assemble the ductwork and plenum. They also modified the bottom part of the drain pipe from the furnace at no extra cost.
2) The second instance was June 2025. The furnace fan would start inside our condo but the compressor outside didn’t start. Hence we had no AC. The Ragano Technician found the problem quickly. There was a dead insect stuck in the electrical contactor outside that prevented electrical current from flowing to the compressor to start it. Simple fix at a reasonable price.
3) The third instance was in 2021 when they installed a new AC system. It started out with our old compressor (greater than 20 years old) conking out. The Ragano Technician said that we needed a new compressor because of the age, which we agreed with. However, the problem was to keep the old compressor going until the new compressor arrived, which would be in about two weeks. Ragano was able to keep the old compressor running during those warm days until the new one arrived. The new compressor has been operating without any problems (of course with the exception of the dead insect problem mentioned above, but that was not a defect in the compressor itself). Quality equipment at a reasonable price.
In conclusion, I recommend Ragano for all HVAC needs. They are professional, courteous, honor their appointment times and do an excellent job at a reasonable price. They are the best HVAC company in the West and Northwest suburbs, bar none.

Diego could not have been more efficient and courteous. He explained everything he was doing and did a great job cleaning our HVAC system.

Have used them 3 times at this point and I have been pretty happy with the service they have provided. Their staff is polite, honest, and easy to work with.

Had them check my heater for regular maintenence today, and from the get-go, I was pleasantly surprised at the level of customer service they displayed. When they arrived, Riley and Luis dragged my trash and recycling bins up my driveway to be nice. Set the tone for me. They were professional and really took their time to explain everything to me. Super happy with the experience. So satisfied with it I ended up signing up for their customer club.

I purchased both my furnace and AC unit from Ragano and get my yearly maintenance (both units) done by them as well. Quality work at reasonable prices. Jose was professional, polite and courteous. Will recommend without any hesitations.

Esteban and Nicole did a fantastic job of helping me out. My heat stopped working and I called them. Nicole told me they can come out Sam day and within a few hours Esteban by tech was at my home doing what he does best. You guys were a life saving. Quick and reasonable pricing. Had a long time relationship with a different heating company. I called because a part needed to be replaced and they suggested that I needed a new furnace and air-conditioning system. I called Ragano and they looked at my system and were able to replace the part 33% less than the other company had quoted had quoted and assured me that my nine-year-old furnace did not need to be replaced.

Only company that I let work on my almost 25 year old HVAC unit. Other companys that Ive hired in the past will always try to upsell me a new unit. Diego the technician came by to do a furnace tune up. He was very polite, punctual and made sure my unit is running in tip top shape. Everyone that I’ve spoke from Ragono were all very kind. If you’re looking for a legit and solid HVAC company, don’t hesitate and call Ragano. They will be replacing my unit when I eventually have to.

Their testing is methodical and record their findings in your file with pics where needed.Their technicians are very well trained, courteous and knowledgeable. We had Ragano upgrade and install a full new system in 2023 with a 0% financing option for 18 months. They’ve been out every year to maintain the full system and we just signed up with Riley for the monthly membership to save on any same day issues. We thankfully haven’t had any issues but they are so great with the annual maintenance and letting us know how our system is functioning at the best abilities it can. Very thankful for the updates and information! Definitely plan to continue to use Ragano as our heating and a/c repair and maintenance company.

We have been very happy with Ragano HVAC after using them for a little over a year! We were referred by my mother who used them to install her new HVAC system and was also very happy with their service. Riley, one of their technicians, is awesome!
